Tell us a little about yourself? My name is Nazi and I run my makeup and hair studio called FAZI. I’m a passionate makeup artist based in Lahore and I love helping people look their best self. Outside of makeup, I love cooking, travelling and spending time with my family. Did you ever consider or experience a career change? I went into makeup many years back but I had to put my career on hold for a few years to raise my family and look after my children. During this time I was a full time mom but my passion for makeup never died. Now that my kids are all grown up and are leaving for college, I have decided to focus on my career. I’m very excited to be back at doing what I love! Did you ever feel discouraged mid way your routine? How did you push through it? I don’t think that I’ve felt that way. I love what I do and enjoy doing make up and running my studio everyday.

As a boss, you have to work very hard because not only are you responsible for providing extraordinary service to your clients but you’re also in charge of the team that you work with. I have to ensure that my team members feel supported, are happy in their workplace and feel that they’re taken care of.
I DON’T THINK THAT I’VE FELT THAT WAY. I LOVE WHAT I DO AND ENJOY DOING MAKE UP AND RUNNING MY STUDIO EVERYDAY.
What are the top three things that you cherish the most in your life? I cherish my family, health and my country. What is the #1 thing yet to be ticked off your bucket list? I have a long bucket list but something that comes to mind right now is travelling the world with my college friends. What does nobody tell you about being the
Name one boss lady that inspired you take your own path, and how did she inspire you? I can’t think of a particular boss lady that inspired me. I’ve been inspired by many women over my life. Inspiration has come from women in my family as well as strong women in politics, education and arts. I’m constantly learning from other women and men too! Complete this sentence, ‘To me a #BossLady is…’. To me a boss lady is confident, kind and determined.
A lesson your biggest failure might have taught you? I have experienced failures and setbacks in life but the lesson is always the same: Never give up. What advice would you give to young girls who look up to you and have goals and dreams like you? My advice to young girls is to do well in school and college. I think education is the most important asset and my advice to their parents is to give their daughters a good education. I would also like to tell girls to be confident and comfortable in their skin.

Where did you stay? We went to Dubrovnik, Hvar and Split. In Dubrovnik, definitely stay in the Old Town because that’s where all the interesting sights are. There are beautiful narrow streets and small cafes there, and its also one of the famous locations of my favorite show, Game of Thrones

Travelling is great fun. You get to explore a new place, meet new people and get wiser! We want to know more and will share with you exciting travel stories from a few special people in our section, planes, trains & automobiles! Best food: Try oysters and risotto in the local restaurant Kamenica. A personal favorite dish is paťticada (a stewed beef dish in a special sauce), and of course, local olive oil is a must. Go to Lapad at Pantarul, they have a creative way of using local ingredients. Magellan, Nishta (vegetarian), and Shizuku (Japanese cuisine) are also on my favorite list. And as for cafes, I’m a fan of Buzz and Art Cafe.
