From Sarwat Gillani donning a beautiful anarkali amidst all the contemporary and modern cuts, to Shehla Chatoor wearing her own creation and carrying it how only she could; the red carpet saw many stars shine through in their own element, keeping true to their personas and slaying their style game.
The night began on a high note with a performance by Umair Jaswal and Meesha Shafi and ended on the same if not better with Ali Zafar making it hard for the audience to stay on their seats when we all actually wanted to bust into some serious moves to "Madhubala". 16

HIGHLIGHTS
When the audience witnessed HSY groove to retro sounds of the 70s and 80s, for the first time ever, with Anoushey Ashraf, Zhalay Sarhadi and Sonia Hussain to the tunes of "Dekha na tha" and "Mr. Fraudiye".
A live jamming session with Ali Zafar actually had everyone swaying with the strings.
When Shahid Afridi gave his trophy away to Shoaib Malik for being "The Most Stylish Sports Personality". It was heartening to see the bromance unfold.
Aaminah Sheikh blew us away with a passionate monologue that brought forward all that is fierce and unanticipated about the lady.
When the show went on despite Saba Qamar's wardrobe malfunction during the first few moments of her performance. Her lehnga fell off, she was visibly upset to say the least, she asked for a time out, changed her mind halfway and let the show in great spirit, unphased and bold. They say you truly win when you pick yourself up after a fall and Saba Qamar was a true winner for us that night.

Beauty tips for fall

fall is a time for new fruits - grapes, pomegranate, strawberries and what not. why not make use of these to help your skin? here are 5 home remedies using only natural ingredients! 1. FOR SPOTLESS SKIN: Peel the skin off a ripe pomegranate with a sharp knife and let dry in the sun for a couple of hours. After that, grind the pomegranate in a grinder – once it’s in powder form take 2 tbs of the powder, 1 tbs honey, 1 tbs yogurt/dahi, 1 tbs lemon juice, 1 tbs tomato juice and 1 tbs milk. Mix the ingredients together and make a paste, apply that all over your face evenly and leave for 20 minutes. Wash off with clean water and apply moisturizing. 2. FOR SKIN LIGHTENING: Take one potato and grate it and squeeze out the juice. Add 2 tbs of lemon juice in it. Apply the mixture on your face with a cotton pad and leave on for 20 minutes. Do this for 1 week and see the results! 3. FOR DRY SKIN: Mix one-half cup of yogurt and three tablespoons of mashed or blended papaya. Stir in a few drops each of honey and lemon juice. Apply it on your skin and leave it on for 10 minutes before washing it off with cold water. Do this once a week. 4. FOR UNEVEN SKIN TONE: Squeeze out the juice of green grapes and apply on the skin. Leave on for 15 – 20 minutes or until dry. Wash off with warm water – this helps toning the skin. 5. FOR EXFOLIATING: Combine 1 tbs brown suger, 1 tbs white sugar, 2 tbs coconut oil and 2 mashes strawberries in a bowl. Apply the mixture to your face in circular motions for about a minute and wash off with warm water.

Travelling is great fun. You get to explore a new place, meet new people and get wiser! We want to know more and will share with you exciting travel stories from a few special people in our section, planes, trains & automobiles! Where did you choose to go and why? Miami, Florida because I have spent a good part of my life there and it's like my second home. Also, because my beautiful sister and nephews live there and of course there are the beaches and my friends. Who did you travel with? I was traveling with two of my best friends, Mir and Saad and another friend Faisal joined us from Australia. My best friend form California, Hina Zafar joined us too and was joined by several others including Hassan Razzee. Where did you stay? I got a really cool apartment on 2nd and Jefferson in South Beach right in the heart of all the fun.

What are the best shopping spots there? Bal Harbor shops and the shops at Merrick Park are simply mind boggling where you will usually spot some of the celebs - it's where the Pradas meet the Guccis and the Birkins are used for carrying dogs and diamonds are bigger than eyeballs. On the other hand, if you are looking for amazing deals, Sawgrass Mills Mall is one of the largest clearance outlet malls where you have every brand's clearance store. I think it's the only place in the world where you can find a pair of Gucci shoes for 90 dollars - yes it's that amazing! Lincoln Road is always fun for just roaming around and shopping in the stores while you eat and drink. Suggest some amazing restaurants there? Miami is the hub of the world's most amazing restaurants,

If you survive all this, you can hit the after hours club called Space where you can dance off till morning followed by the most amazing breakfast at Pink Big - it Tell us about the sights no one should is truly the most amazing breakfast experience. miss out on? What can you do over there to relax If it's your first time in Miami Beach, you should defiantly and unwind? start with Ocean Drive and the iconic Art Deco District People always associate Miami with parties, but it's also an - check out all the Art Deco boutique hotels, the Versace amazing place to just sit back and relax. It is home to some Mansion where the legendary designer was murdered, of the world’s most amazing spas where you can spend a Casa Casuarina (it's a hotel/ restaurant now), Bal Harbor shops, South Pointe Pier, Mid Town and the Wynwood Walls whole day treating yourself. If nothing else, just sit back and (an amazing outdoor art installation, which is a must see for relax on the beach all day. I also find driving to The Keys very relaxing as you get to see the most beauriful scenery the best photos ever), Villa Vizcaya, Fontaineblueau Hotel along the way. and their club Liv, the poolside of Delano Boutique Hotel, courtyard of the Setai Hotel, a stroll through Española Finally, any tips? Way and a day trip to Fort Lauderdale (Venus of America). Another day trip you should make is visiting Key West, meet The best way to see Miami is to see it from the eyes of the locals because the real Miami is not in the tourist spots, the locals and do as they tell you. but where all the locals go. Try to learn Spanish - it will reSuggest places for a perfect night out? ally help you. Last but not the least, just let go and have a blast!!!!!! Every night in Miami can be a perfect night out. A good way to start your night is with dinner at Mr. Chow at the “W" Hotel and then bar hopping on Collins Ave in all the where world renowned chefs go out of their way to make your culinary journey amazing. Few of my favorites in Miami and Fort Lauderdale are Prime 112, Cviche, The Bazaar, Barton G, Chima Brazilian Steakhouse, Tamarina and the list can go on and on and on.
