dawn to dusk: shehla chatoor lawn shehla chatoor has showcased her first ever lawn collection and it's safe to say that it is to die for. these three beautiful style stars styled the shehla chatoor lawn showing us how it can be worn from day to night.

Samira Dada For my day look, I chose a loose boxy cut short shirt, with lovely striped flared pants. This is definitely one of my go to looks, since it's casual yet chic, and super easy to dress up or down . Today, I paired it with a forest green bag with gold hardware and comfortable heels. Chunky gold hoop earrings brought it all together and added that little bit of bling!

For the night, I decided to drape the beautiful silk dupatta as a top/tunic. I belted it up to give the drapey "dupatta" tunic some structure and paired it with ripped skinny black jeans . Pointy gold pumps, a black McQueen skull clutch and some long signature Shehla earrings and we are good to go! 2016

Samiya Ansari Shehla's latest lawn is designed in such a beautiful manner that it could be worn as an eastern or western ensemble effortlessly. I paired my Day look with my white sneakers from Zara and reflection sunnies from Dior. I went for a simple silver choker from Aldo as my print and ensemble was so grand that it didn't need anything else. For my night look, I paired my kameez with bellbottoms that come with the lawn itself. It is extremely suitable for for eastern events and formal dinners too. I simply took the trail of the dress and wrapped it around my neck like a choker. I still kept it easy with the accessories and wore armbands, a simple bracelet and carried with a transparent Balenciaga clutch.

For my day look, I choose to do a sporty luxe look with an edgy feel. I wore a super impactful A-line tunic paired with black culottes. As Karachi's summer afternoons are unbearably hot I prefer to dress in a way that is comfortable but not boring. I wore a cross body bag and accessorized it with a stunning silk dupatta. Chanel espadrilles completed my look. Vintage gold and green earrings added to the glamour quotient of the fringed tunic. This would be my go to look for a fun day out with my girls.

For the night look I went the traditional classic way. I wanted the beautiful print and sleeves do all the talking. Finishing touches were added by Black pumps, a gold Mcqueen clutch and a pair of diamond and pearl earrings. This outfit makes the perfect look for a formal dinner.

Step 1: Cleansing Use your fingers to gently massage the cleanser into your face in a circular motion. Continue cleansing for about 30 seconds or till all makeup/dirt isn’t removed and then rinse thoroughly with warm water. For dry skin try Dermalogica Pre Cleanse, and for sensitive skin try Bioderma Sensibio H20. Step 2: Exfoliating (twice a week) Take a little bit of product on your fingertips and gently scrub in an upward circular motion. A common mistake many people make is being too heavy-handed. You don’t want to over treat the skin, just facilitate the particles to glide across your face so that the top layer of dead skin is removed and you’re left with brighter looking skin. Not just that, exfoliating also gets rid of any residue makeup or dirt, it keeps acne under control as it keeps pores clean and unclogged. Finally, regular exfoliation reduces fine lines and wrinkles and keeps your skin much softer! Try Kiehl’s Skin Brightening Exfoliator. Step 3: Toning Apply toner with a cotton ball, using the same gentle, upward strokes that you used to apply your cleanser. A toner closes the pores, stimulates circulation, and gives the skin a porcelain-like quality. Try Clinique Clarifying Lotion 1, 2, 3 or 4. (1 for dry skin, 2 for dry combination, 3 for combination oily and 4 for oily) or Dr. Hauschka Clarifying Toner. Step 4: Moisturizing All skin types, even oily skin, need a moisturizer every day. Like toners and cleansers, there are different types of moisturizers for different types of skin. If you have dry skin you should choose a moisturizer containing oil (such as petrolatum); if you have oily skin you should choose water-based creams and oil-free formulations. Try Chanel Hydra Beauty Natural Serum, or Clinique Moisture Surge Intense, or Estee Lauder Hydrationist. Step 5: Spray Rose Water Spray the water mist liberally over your face and neck and let skin dry naturally for a few minutes. This is an added step for extra hydration. The water spray aids in melding the moisturizer into your skin rather than it just lying topically on the surface of your skin. Remember: You cannot have a beautiful painting without a beautiful canvas — skincare is essential!

Travelling is great fun. You get to explore a new place, meet new people and get wiser! We want to know more and will share with you exciting travel stories from a few special people in our new section, planes, trains & automobiles! Where did you choose to go and why? I went to Istanbul and Bursa. I’ve always wanted to visit Turkey since I’m a big history buff and Istanbul has some of the world’s finest and oldest sights. Who did you travel with? I went with my roommates from university. We hadn’t seen each other in a few years and we had been planning a trip for a long time. Since two of them lived in Turkey, it seemed like the safest and easiest choice. Where did you stay? Lucky for us, a friend of ours had houses in both Bursa and Istanbul. We stayed in Üsküdar in Istanbul which is on the

shore of the Bosphorus and about twenty minutes from all the famous sights. What are the best shopping spots there? In terms of shopping in a place like Turkey, its best to avoid all the malls and explore the various bazaars and stalls found everywhere you go. The Grand Bazaar in Istanbul is one of the oldest covered markets in the world and you will be able to find anything from ceramics, to jewellery to carpets. If you’re not one for busy places, the Spice Bazaar is a great alternative. Bursa has an adorable covered market that specialises in silk scarves and leads you to the Koza Han, an ancient silk warehouse converted to a Tea Garden.

travel diaries Finally, any tips? Sensible clothes and shoes! The weather is unpredictable, the tours are long and I can’t stress enough how important it is to be comfortable. Also be prepared for unexpected snowfall/rainfall depending on whenever you travel. Bursa is generally colder and it snows up until April. The weather foes from sunny to rainy in seconds.

Suggest places for a perfect night out Istiklal Avenue is the safest bet. It’s practically open all night. Sefahathane is a good place to start the night and Crab Bar despite being crowded has some pretty great live music. For something more low-key, Anjelique and Sortie are good options

Tell us about the sights no one should miss out on Since it was our first time, we visited the usual sights; Topkapi Palace, the New Mosque, the Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia, the Basilica Cistern, Grand and Spice Bazaar etc. Bursa has the quaintest little mountain villages. Cumalikizik is a small village with cobbled streets and full of derelict but preserved Ottoman houses. Try the roasted chestnuts and breakfast in any of the small cafes is a must.

What can you do over there to relax and unwind? Istanbul is a bustling city so I’d advise everyone to make sure that they have enough to see everything without exhausting themselves. If you’re visiting Turkey, the ideal way to unwind is to spend a few hours in the hammam. I’ll be the first to admit that it was not my cup of tea but everyone else swears by it.

Suggest some amazing restaurants there? Ciya is Istanbul is phenomenal and their vallmofrö kebab is pure gold. Daruzziyafe offers a restricted yet delicious menu and it’s always a good idea to have seafood in any of the restaurants that line the Galata Bridge. A a Kap s has the best original teas and Ottoman style drinks as well as the best view of the Bosphorus in the city. Definitely try all the street food in the city. Simit especially is a godsend.
