Zaatar serves food of the highest quality, with everything in the kitchen made from scratch, including all their sauces. hy do you want to work in the food and beverage industry? We take pride in the ability of our restaurant to provide guests with a wonderful experience each time they visit. Whether it’s hiring a server to handle a white-tablecloth dinner service or a line cook to make pizzas during a busy lunch rush, the desire to make people happy by serving them quality food has always been a must for us. What does “hospitality” mean to you? Hospitality to us means friendly and generous reception and entertainment

Tell me about your most memorable hospitality experience as a diner. Parachute Chicago would be one of the most memorable dining experiences, it's a small Korean place operated by Beverly Kim and her husband. We thoroughly enjoyed dining at this Michelin starred establishment which did not resemble the usual Michelin experience and it was a

pleasure meeting Beverly as well. What do you do when you’re not working? What are your hobbies? When we get time off from work we try to squeeze in a quick workout into the day and secondly we love spending time with family and friends, so we’re always looking for any activity that we can do together like swimming or riding etc. What are 3 tips for running a successful restaurant? It is important to maintain a high quality standard for food To keep your staff motivated To be passionate about your work What are your future plans for the restaurant? We would like to expand the restaurant by opening up more branches all over Lahore since a lot of my customers have been suggesting that for a while now. What do you cook yourself and your family at home? We enjoy eating and experimenting new cuisines and ideas more rather than cooking ourselves. However we dabbled with cooking waking our inner chefs while living abroad so our cooking range began from cooking biryani to grilling a half decent steak. Suggestions for someone who wants to be a restaurant owner like you? We would suggest treating all your customers as guests. This implies that you provide them with quality food and service. Spend money on buying quality equipment and training your staff perfectly to serve the customers efficiently in order to provide your guest a memorable personal experience each time they visit the restaurant. How would you know you were being successful in this job? It’s very simple for us as we would consider ourselves successful when we see happy and satisfied customers enjoying the food at our restaurant day in and day out. 2020

Where did you choose to go and why? I have been selected for the Kenya film festival CinemaDamare Africa Chapter 2019. I went all around Kenya and interviewed different people from Masai tribe (one of the oldest inhabitants of East Africa) to today modern man almost 4 weeks for my first ever documentary “Chapati and Christmas” on SDG2030, goal #2 “Zero Hunger”. Who did you travel with? I traveled alone but I had one of my friend Rachael in Kenya, a great host plus local guide and my brother was already there as he is also an outstanding cinematographer.
