What got you interested in starting your own marketing company? We saw an opportunity in the local market. With media spending increasing and digital taking a larger share every passing year; it is becoming difficult to stay visible amidst a plethora of existing and new brands entering the market. In addition, with the millennials and now generation Z entering the consumer market the communication mediums and strategies need to be very carefully chiseled for brands to remain relevant.

Describe a recent ad campaign that you think worked well. Well from campaigns we’ve done we feel the “Lahore Lahore Hai” campaign worked extremely well for Packages Mall because it gelled beautifully with the event itself. The campaign gave people an idea of what to expect and what awaited them, it was visually appealing and clear in its message. As for local campaigns we personally liked the PIA Rebranding campaign. What tools do you use to create ad campaigns? We use a variety of tools to create campaigns: from research to illustrator and Photoshop to 3D MAX. All tools depend on the campaign’s requirements. Have you all as a team faced any difficulties ever since you started your company?

Every new team faces certain challenges before it finds its rhythm so yes we have faced our own share of hurdles since we started the company and have overcome them successfully like a team. How do you manage to integrate social media (modern tools) into a national ad campaign (traditional tools)? We believe in today’s age, one compliments the other. Traditional and digital are two ends of a spectrum, low and high engagement respectively. Way forward is a digital-traditional mix. Everything you do is simply augmented by social media. Over 52% of our population is under 24, that’s over 100m people. Over 42 m of them are between 15 – 24 years of age. With the changing demographics and smaller attention spans, the communication strategy has to be hard-hitting and very precise. We feel its imperative to carefully use the audience, content, context and medium for maximum impact. How do you measure the effectiveness of an advertising campaign?

We have tried to successfully to minimize this through a policy of complete transparency at every stage, never overcommitting, and of course, always going that extra mile for a client. We, as a policy, also take critical feedback positively and constantly try and upgrade our processes to bring them in sync with the clients needs. Do you believe that any publicity, even bad publicity, is good publicity? All publicity is good, it depends on how you manage it. What advice would you give to young marketers out there? Climb the ladder through learning, not by falling into the glamorous trap of switching jobs for designation and salary jumps.

Travelling is great fun. You get to explore a new place, meet new people and get wiser! We want to know more and will share with you exciting travel stories from a few special people in our section, planes, trains & automobiles! Where did you choose to go and why? I went to Thailand because it is the best place to escape from your hectic routines and relax and unwind yourselves. This country offers some beautiful beaches and mind boggling islands to sooth your eyes and mesmerize your souls. Who did you travel with? I travelled with my husband because he is as crazy and adventurous as I am. We have the perfect chemistry especially when it comes to traveling and he is my personal favorite photographer. Where did you stay? I have a handful list of places I stayed at, but I would mention my top favorite ones. In Bangkok we stayed at the Baiyoke

sky hotel; this hotel has 83 floors and a revolving rooftop. It is the tallest building in Bangkok and will definitely give you view goals. In Koh Samui I booked a beach front villa with escape beach resort. It was here where we witnessed the most amazing sunset ever. We also booked another villa with a private pool and a garden view with privilege hotel Ezra Beach resort. Apart from the exceptionally amazing villa and customer service, this resort was located on Lamai beach which is a very peaceful and fine-looking beach with lots of eateries nearby. In pattaya we stayed at Zign Hotel which has its own private beach, pool and spa facilities. Suggest some amazing restaurants there? If you are a seafood lover, then Thailand is the place for you.

My personal all-time favorite is The Pizza Company; their pizzas are worth melting for. Try Mahanaga in Bangkok to experience the finest Thai food ever. For desserts my personal favorite was Desserie Sweet Café; they offer the most mouthwatering cheese cakes ever (must try – Macadamia Cheese Cake). And yes, have loads and loads of pineapples and coconut water; you will find them on every other corner of the road.

Any tips? Since Thailand is a tropical country the weather is warm almost all around the year. The best time to visit is between February and April because there is less humidity. Also don’t forget to keep a pair of flip-flops, sunglasses, sunblock and an umbrella; the weather can be unpredictable at times. If you are seeking adventure you must try parasailing, jet ski, snorkeling and kayaking- I tried every single thing and it was worth every penny we spent. Lastly, enjoy and relax as much as you can!

Suggest places for a perfect night out? Thailand is known for its happening night life. In Pattaya the must visit place for night life is the walking street. This vehicle free

What can you do over there to relax and unwind? A trip to Thailand is incomplete without a Thai massage. You will find massage parlors at several intervals all over Thailand. Nothing beats their foot massage and full body aroma massage. You can also take a dip in the hot springs and relax your soul after a tiring day. And of course, you can always chill and loosen up on the beach and absorb the mesmerizing views.

Tell us about sites no one should miss out on? If you love historical monuments then you must visit Wat Arun Temple in Bangkok; it is the most stunningly unique temple you will ever witness. Sanctuary of Truth in Pattaya; a castle purely hand crafted with wood. Another one that tops the chart is white temple in Chiang Mai; a masterpiece that can’t be missed. Floating Markets in Bangkok is also a great sight for tourists- the unique way of selling things in kayaks, floating on the water is something only offered in this country. Nature lovers must visit the breathtaking waterfall at Mae sa Valley, Khun Korn Waterfall at Bamboo forest and Bua Thong waterfalls. You should also take a day trip to some of the amazing islands that Thailand has to offer. Our top favorites are Phi Phi Island, Koh Tao and National Marine Park.

Bean bags, candle lights, soothing music, lit sky and a beautiful overlooking beach; what more can one ask for? Another must visit is the night market in Koh Samui which happens every weekend; you can take a stroll down the street and enjoy Thai culture along with a variety of food cuisines.
