HEALTH EDIT ing session was usually a cardio blast on the treadmill or elliptical for 25-30 mins. Cardio exercises are an excellent way of speeding up of the fat loss process. Evening sessions were a mix of different endurance exercises targeting a different muscle group every day. We paid maximum focus on legs and glutes as they are the biggest muscle group in the body and use up more calories during and post exercise.
EAT MORE
I was eating to lose weight. Yayy! I had broken down my meals into 6 portions throughout the day. Most meals were boiled, steamed, cooked in only 1 tsp olive oil, baked or grilled. My favorite foods were broccoli, asparagus and all fruits that ever existed. Fruits and vegetables have super powers to help fill you up and keep you healthy and full of energy throughout the day.
PACK SMART
Never leave the house without a superfood in your bag. My go-to options were an apple, orange, pack of dates, a mix of dry fuits, bananas or a bottle of water with lemon, vitamin c or mint leaves. Hunger pangs are evil if you get them near a Mcdonalds or during a shopping session. The general urge is to grab a pack of crisps or a chocolate bar. I would persevere through with my back ups packed a way safely in my purse.
SLEEP
Those snoozes are essential. 8 hours when the sun isn't shining you need to let your body recover it's muscles, heal your skin and balance your hormones. Most of your results will rely on the quality of food and sleep you get. Workouts are catalysts that help speed up results. Sleep and food are the basics that change the body from within.
