Travelling is great fun. You get to explore a new place, meet new people and get wiser! We want to know more and will share with you exciting travel stories from a few special people in our section, planes, trains & automobiles! Where did you chose to go and why? Destination Bali! We wanted a place with lots of options, not overloaded with tourists and Thailand being a cliche for honeymoon. Bali is the best of both worlds with a nightlife to enjoy when you're up for it along with calm locations to just unwind when there what you need. All in one trip! Who did you travel with? My husband! Where did you stay? We set base in Sanur, where we stayed in a rest house called Nisa Sanur, an intimate rest house with the warmest service and an amazing pool! It's a calm island with Ubud city and Gilli islands at a couple of hours drive and a small fast boat ride.

In Gilli islands we stayed in the most gorgeous cottages called Madison Gili. What are the best shopping spots there? Sorry girls! Bali's not for shopping! Unless souvenirs and sarongs is what you enjoy on an island vacay! The art market in Ubud City is your place to go. Out of Gili and Sanur that market had the biggest collection of cultural items with the best bargain too. They had some amazing bamboo and wood carved crockery and souvenirs that we couldn't get enough of. Suggest some amazing restaurants: 3 monkeys Parrot cafe Casablanca

Loved that they serve everything on banana leaves! Something you CANNOT miss out on are the banana pancakes served with vanilla ice cream and coconut caramel! You can find it on Sanur beach at any restaurant.

Tips: Pack the most airy wardrobe and the most comfortable pair of slippers you can find if you want to enjoy the windy summer and the street life! And sunblock! And hats! Summer it up!!

There are places for the perfect live music night out! From Frank Sinatra to Weeknd, you can practically customise your night out in Bali. If you want to dance the night away then Casablanca in sanur is the place to go and the bar beaches in Gilli islands are for the crazy ones!

Best for the last: DOLPHIN INTERACTION at the Gilli terawanga! They're the most sweetest and fun being out there! Swim with them dance with them, they'll actually throw kisses if they like you! Who's got dancing with a dolphin on their bucket list? You know where to go now! What can you do there to relax and un-

Things none should miss out on We found Gilli island (Gili Trawangan to be exact) to be the best out of ubud city and Sanur. It's a gorgeous little island with rest houses, restaurants and bars all around it. As soon as you check in, rent a bike and go around the island along the sea! It was a breathtaking experience! Make sure you find a spot to watch the sun go down the sea.

wind Any tips? You will find a spa every 5 minutes throughout the island. You walk and walk and walk wherever and just turn around the corner to get the most magical messages. The one we liked the best was Koa in sanur. Make sure you stop for a booking there!
