NITED States President Donald Trump on Saturday announced that both Pakistan and India have agreed for a ceasefire, hours after Pakistan retaliated in response to Indian attacks and launched ‘Bunyan-ulMarsoos’ against Indian military. Minutes after Donald Trump’s tweet, Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar also confirmed the development. “Pakistan and India have agreed to a ceasefire with immediate effect. Pakistan has always strived for peace and security in the region, without compromising on its sovereignty and territorial integrity,” Ishaq Dar wrote on social media platform X. India’s Foreign Secretary Shri Vikram Misri said a ceasefire was established between the two neighbours. “The DGMO of Pakistan called DGMO of India at 15:35 hours earlier this afternoon. It was agreed between them that both sides would stop all firing and military action on land, air and sea with effect from 1700 hours IST,” he said during a press briefing. “Instructions have been given on both sides to give effect to this understanding,” Misri said. He added that the DGMOs would “talk again on 12th of May at 1200 hours. However within hours, violations were reported from the main cities of Indian Kashmir, the territory that had borne the brunt of four days of fighting. Blasts were heard in Srinagar and Jammu and projectiles and flashes were seen in the night sky over Jammu, similar to the events of the previous
evening, according to authorities. Military spokespeople in both countries did not immediately respond to requests for comment. The fighting had been the worst between the old South Asian enemies in nearly three decades and threatened to erupt into a full-scale war in one of the world's most volatile and densely populated regions. There were briefly fears that nuclear arsenals might come into play as Pakistan's military said a top body overseeing its nuclear weapons would meet. But the defence minister said no such meeting was scheduled, hours after a night of heavy fighting in which the two countries targeted each other’s military bases and the combined civilian death toll rose to 66. The US government earlier said it offered assistance to make India and Pakistan start “constructive talks” while the Group of

Pakistan Air Force’s JF-17 Thunder jets on early Saturday morning destroyed India’s S-400 air defence system stationed in Adampur using hypersonic missiles. The S-400, valued at approximately $1.5 billion, was considered one of India's most sophisticated defence assets. The strike came as part of Pakistan's ongoing 'Operation Bunyan-un-Marsoos', a series of retaliatory actions following Indian attacks on Pakistani territory targeting mosques and residential areas. The S-400 system, acquired from Russia in 2018, is a mobile, long-range surfaceto-air missile system capable of targeting aircraft, drones, cruise missiles, and ballistic
missiles at ranges up to 400 km. It comprises missile launchers, a phased-array radar, and a command center, and can engage multiple targets simultaneously. India had deployed three of the five squadrons, with the Adampur unit being one of the primary installations. In addition to the S-400 strike, Pakistan also announced it had targeted and destroyed several other Indian military sites, including the BrahMos missile storage in Beas, airfields in Udhampur, Suratgarh, and Pathankot, and artillery positions in Dehrangyari. Tensions between India and Pakistan escalated sharply following the April 22 attack in Pahalgam, located in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK), which left 26 people dead.
In a televised address, the prime minister confirmed that Pakistan had responded positively to ceasefire proposals “for the sake of 230 million Pakistanis,” after weeks of military escalation following the April 22 attack in Pahalgam, Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK), which left 26 dead. India blamed Pakistan-based elements, an allegation categorically rejected by Islamabad.
Prime Minister Shehbaz expressed appreciation for the role of the United States in brokering the ceasefire, personally thanking President Donald Trump “for playing a sincere and constructive role.” He also acknowledged the contributions of Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Türkiye, Kuwait, the United Kingdom, the United Nations Secretary-General, and “other allied countries” involved in the diplomatic effort.

Pakistan destroys India's BrahMos stockpile, airbases in 'Operation Bunyan-un-Marsoos' KARACHI, May 10 (INP): Pakistan has initiated retaliatory action in response to the ongoing Indian aggression in the wee hours of Saturday, according to security sources. The operation has been officially named Operation Bunyan-un-Marsoos. As part of the operation, all bases identified as launch points for attacks on Pakistani civilians and mosques are being specifically targeted. Multiple strategic targets are being engaged simultaneously as the operation progresses, security sources confirmed. They stated that Pakistan launched its Al-Fatah missile as part of the ongoing retaliatory operation, naming it in honour of the Pakistani children who lost their lives in recent Indian aggression. They added that Pakistan has neither forgotten nor will ever forget the sacrifice of these innocent children, who were martyred during cross-border attacks by Indian forces earlier this week. According to security sources, multiple Indian targets have been struck using Pakistan’s Fatah-1 missile system, with new footage of one such strike now publicly released as part of the ongoing operation.

Indian Army admits damage to 26 defence installations, airbases in Pakistani strikes ISLAMABAD
STAFF REPORT
The Indian military has admitted that Pakistan’s retaliatory airstrikes caused significant damage to multiple defence installations and airbases across India. During a press conference in New Delhi with Indian Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri, senior Indian military officers Colonel Sophia Qureshi and Wing Commander Vyomika Singh confirmed that Pakistan targeted 26 strategic locations using jets, missiles, and drones. They acknowledged that Pakistan used high-speed missiles in the strikes, damaging several Indian airbases, including one in Punjab. Other airbases, including those in Udhampur, Adampur, and Pathankot, also suffered structural and operational damage. They further confirmed that Pakistan employed long-range weapons and drones in the coordinated attacks. A report by the Times of India cited Colonel Sophia Qureshi of the Indian Army Signal Corps as admitting that assets and personnel at five airbases were impacted by Pakistan’s precision strikes. She confirmed that airbases in Udhampur, Pathankot, Adampur, Bhuj, and Bathinda were among the key targets hit, resulting in considerable losses.
During the press conference, both Colonel Qureshi and Wing Commander Singh expressed reluctance to engage in further conflict, stating: “We do not seek further escalation with the Pakistan Army or Air Force.” Experts noted the visibly distressed expressions and body language of the Indian officials during the press conference, suggesting an attempt to downplay the full scale of the damage. Their statement calling for de-escalation was seen as a clear admission of Indian defeat and humiliation in the face of Pakistan’s decisive response. Videos released of Indian military installations destroyed in operation "Bunyan-al-Marsoos" Pakistan has released videos showing the destruction caused during Operation Bunyan-al-Marsoos, with visuals capturing thick
smoke, intense fires, and the complete demolition of several Indian military targets. According to security sources, the Pakistan Army struck key enemy positions along multiple sectors of the Line of Control (LoC). The operation was marked by loud chants of "Allahu Akbar" as Pakistani soldiers carried out the strikes with bravery, precision, and a strong sense of duty. The footage highlights the scale of the damage, showing large plumes of smoke and burning buildings at the targeted sites. These videos not only confirm the enemy's losses but also reinforce public trust in the Armed Forces’ ability to defend the country. Equipped with modern weapons and a firm resolve, Pakistan’s troops have once again proven they are ready to respond to any act of aggression with full force.
india attacks Pakistan’s air bases, Pakistan retaliates RAWALPINDI
STAFF REPORT
Early Saturday morning missile attacks from India prompted a retaliatory response from Pakistan, which has termed its new operation against its neighbouring country as ‘Bunyan-un- Marsoos’. At around 3:30am on Saturday, Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) Director General Lt Gen Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry has said that India has targeted the Pakistan Air Force’s (PAF) Nur Khan (Chaklala, Rawalpindi), Murid (Chakwal) and Rafiqui (Shorkot in Jhang district) air bases, adding that all assets of the air force remained safe. While speaking at a press conference, he said that India was “pushing the whole region towards a dangerous war with its madness, aggression and deceit”. The DG ISPR also said that India had fired missiles at Afghanistan and used drones to conduct attacks as well. The military spokesperson said that “the majority” of Indian missiles fired at PAF’s airbases were intercepted by air defence systems of the armed forces. He noted that the few Indian missiles that were not intercepted and “sneaked in” have “not been able to cause any damage” to PAF’s flying assets as per the initial damage assessment reports. The DG ISPR said that the air defence systems of the armed forces were able to “successfully prevent the desired objectives of India”. He said the missiles and drone attacks by India on Afghanistan shortly after attacks on the territory of Indian Punjab were “part of a larger sinister plan to push the region and beyond into havoc”. The DG ISPR said that the PAF has the electronic signatures of all Indian missiles, including “from where they were initiated and what was targeted”. The military’s chief spokesperson assured the nation that the armed forces are “vigilant and thwarting all these cowardly acts of aggression by Indians”.
