T least 10 people were martyred and 32 injured on Tuesday when a powerful bomb blast ripped through a busy street near the Frontier Corps (FC) headquarters in Quetta, officials said. The security forces acted swiftly after the attack, killing four terrorists. Balochistan Health Minister Bakht Muhammad Kakar confirmed the toll, saying those killed also included paramilitary personnel. “Ten people have been killed while 32 were injured in the blast. Six of the wounded are in critical condition,” he told reporters, adding that the injured had been shifted to the Civil Hospital and Trauma Centre. Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Special Operations Muhammad Baloch said the explosion occurred when

Pakistan successfully conducts training launch of Fatah-4 cruise missile RAWALPINDI

The Pakistan Army on Tuesday successfully conducted a training launch of a newly inducted indigenously developed Fatah-4 cruise missile having a range of 750 kilometres, the military’s media wing reported. “Equipped with advanced avionics and state of the art navigational aids, this weapon system is capable of evading enemy’s missile defence system due to terrain hugging features and engaging targets with high precision,” the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said in a statement. “As part of Army Rocket Force Command, Fatah-4 will further enhance the reach, lethality and survivability of Pakistan Army’s conventional missile systems,” it added. According to the ISPR, the launch was witnessed by the chief of general staff, senior officers from Pakistan’s armed forces, scientists and engineers. Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi also extended heartfelt congratulations to scientists, engineers, and the country’s military leadership on the successful test of the indigenously developed Fatah-IV cruise missile, according to a statement.
