NOBLEPARK100

Paducah Parks & Recreation will be celebrating the 100 Anniversary of Bob Noble Park which opened in 1926, after Robert “Bob” Noble donated $10,000 to improve city property that had previously been purchased to create a park. Bob Noble specified that the donation be used to build a fence around and to the entrance of the park. In April 1926 the park was named Bob Noble Park and an inscription written by Irvin S. Cobb was placed at the entrance of the park.

To honor the 100 year history of Bob Noble Park, Paducah Parks & Recreation will be hosting a multi-day celebration from Thursday, July 30 to Sunday, August 2. More details will be released in the future on this event, but please save the dates!

A gift shop with Noble Park 100 t-shirts, swag, and memorabilia will be open inside the Paducah Parks & Recreation Office in spring of 2026.

Paducah Parks & Recreation plans to plant 100 trees in Bob Noble Park to commemorate the history of this park that has impacted so many people during its history, plus ensure its tree canopy lasts into the future. Individuals, businesses, and organizations may sponsor a tree or multiple trees and will be recognized within the park Information on how to sponsor a tree will be released in March 2026
