REGISTRATION There are several ways to register for programs and activities. In Office: Stop by the Paducah Parks & Recreation Office at 1400 HC Mathis Drive and register with cash, check, or debit/credit card. Over the Phone Using a Credit Card: Call the Parks & Recreation Office at 270-444-8508. Online: Register online at www.paducahky.gov/registration for an activity, reserve a shelter or to reserve ballfields. You must use a credit/debit card. You may also view programs, facilities, and activities. You will have to create an account to register or use your existing account information. If you have issues with online registration contact the Parks & Recreation Office at 270-444-8508. By Mail: Download the Registration Form and mail to Paducah Parks & Recreation with a payment in the form of a check.

Pool Policies All swimming patrons must wear proper swim attire. Children under 10 years must be accompanied by a supervising adult. Running, horseplay, rough housing, outside food and drink, and profanity are prohibited. Patrons using diving area must pass swim test prior to use. Users must be 45 inches or taller to go down the two slides. Spray Pad recommended for patrons ages 8 years and younger.

SWIMMING LESSONS
Paducah Parks & Recreation offers several levels and sessions of swimming lessons. Spots fill up fast in some classes so we encourage you to register early. The classes are two-week sessions held Tuesday through Thursday at 10:30 am-11:30 am or 6:00 pm-7:00 pm. The cost is $40 per session. Session 1: June 7-9, 14-16 | Session 2: June 21-23, 28-30 | Session 3: July 5-7, 12-14 | Session 4: July 19-21, 26-28

ROBERT COLEMAN SPRAYGROUND 2022 Season: May 28 - Monday September 5 Hours of Operation: During the operating season the Sprayground operates daily from 10:00 am to 8:00 pm The facility is closed during inclement weather. BROCKENBOROUGH ROTARY HEALTH PARK SPRAYGROUND 2022 Season: May 28 - Monday September 5 Hours of Operation: During the operating season the Sprayground operates daily from 10:00 am to 8:00 pm. The Paducah Recreation Center is located at 1527 Martin Luther King Jr. Drive in the historic Fountain Avenue Neighborhood. The facility includes a gymnasium, stage, kitchen, and multi-purpose classroom. Hours are subject to change on a month by month basis. MEMBERSHIP INFORMATION Paducah Recreation Center GOLD Membership (Individual or Family): $60.00 Paducah Recreation Center Yearly Membership (Individual or Family): $20.00 Activity Punch Pass (20 Class Visits): $10.00 Daily Drop In Visit (Open Gyms Only): $5.00 All persons 18 years of age or older must purchase their own membership account unless they are purchasing a family membership with their spouse. A family consists of parents/guardians and their children. Memberships can be purchased at any time throughout the year. They are valid for 365 days. There is a $5 charge if you need to replace your key fob anytime throughout the 365 days.

OPEN GYMS Activities included in the $20 Yearly Individual or Family Membership at no extra cost are Open Gym, Basketball Open Gym, Family Open Gym, Youth Open Gym, Home School Open Gym, Tiny Tot Open Gym, Pickleball Open Gym, and Volleyball Open Gym. Open Gym, Family Open Gym, and Home School Open Gym offer a variety of activities including basketball, volleyball, pickleball, badminton, spikeball, futsal, floor hockey, and cornhole. All you need to do is talk to a staff member to check out equipment. The court needs to be shared with other members who may not want to play in full court pick up games. Volleyball Open Gym, Pickleball Open Gym, and Basketball Open Gym offer full-court play for those sports.
CLASSES There are two membership options to participate in classes at the Paducah Recreation Center. The first option is a $20 Yearly Membership which is good for 365 days. After that you can purchase an Activity Punch Pass for $10 which gets you into 20 classes or pay a $1 drop in rate as you go to each class. The second option is a $60 GOLD Membership which is good for 365 days. No additional fees are needed to participate in classes or open gyms after purchasing the GOLD Membership. Classes include: Booty Jam, Chair Yoga, Mat Yoga, Tai Chi/Yoga Fusion, Mid-East Dance, Fitness Fusion, and SharQui. Classes offered could change from month to month.

We will host Celebration Saturday events the third Saturday of each month, featuring specific vendors, live music, and craft activities. Our market has a variety of local, homegrown products including fresh fruits, vegetables, meats, eggs, dairy products, artisan and baked goods, and eats from local food vendors. TUESDAY MIDWEEK MARKET AT CARSON PARK Location: Carson Park located at 301 Joe Clifton Drive. Hours: Tuesdays, 3:00 pm - 7:00 pm 2022 Season: The Carson Park Market runs from May 3 through September 27, 2022. This market location represents a partnership between the City of Paducah and McCracken County. Come shop from a number of vendors with homegrown or homemade products.

SUMMER CAMP Are you ready to get your child out of the house this summer and into the Great Outdoors? Paducah Parks & Recreation is ready to launch your camper into the best summer ever, again. This year we are stuffing even more adventure, fun, and excitement into our Day Camp. We are ready for your camper to arrive and greet nature, gain new skills, meet new friends, and create memories that will last a lifetime. This adventure is for rising First Graders through rising Sixth Graders. Day Camp will be from Monday through Friday from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm. Drop off and pick up will be at Shelter 16 in Bob Noble Park. Day Camp will have a fresh theme each and every week. Cost is $60 per child per week. ADULT KICKBALL LEAGUE Teams must be coed with a minimum of ten players, four of which must be female. Players must be at least 14 years of age. There is a 20 player limit on team rosters. Games are at the Noble Park Ball Fields on Thursday evenings beginning June 9. The cost is $150 per team. Individuals may register for $20. We will form a team of individuals if there are enough players. Registration will begin April 25. The deadline to register is Thursday May 26. You may register your team at the Paducah Parks & Recreation Office at 1400 HC Mathis Dr. Individuals may register in person or online.
TENNIS DRAW YOUR PARTNER DOUBLES Come and enjoy Tennis Draw Your Partner Doubles, a social event for tennis enthusiasts where doubles teams will be randomly drawn throughout the night. You can attend by yourself or with a group. It is open to tennis players ages 16 and older. Tennis players of all playing abilities are welcome to play. There will be three Draw Your Partner Doubles events this year at the Noble Park Tennis Courts. It is FREE to participate and door prizes will be drawn for those who attend! You can register at the courts when you arrive.

SUMMER PICKLEBALL LEAGUE Paducah Parks & Recreation is partnering with the Paducah Convention & Expo Center to host a 2022 Summer Pickleball League. The league will begin on Tuesday, June 14 and go through Tuesday, July 19. All matches will be on Tuesday nights at the Paducah Convention & Expo Center, which is located at 415 Park Street. Games will be between 6:00 pm - 9:00 pm, and there will be open play/warm-up starting at 5:00 pm. Registration starts on March 15. The deadline to register is May 26. There will be three leagues: Men's Doubles, Women's Doubles, and Coed Doubles. The cost per duo is $50. Participants will need to provide the name of their partner when registering. All ability levels are welcomed. Ages 16 and up.
PADDLE UP PADUCAH PICKLEBALL TOURNAMENT Paducah Parks & Recreation is hosting the Paddle Up Paducah Pickleball Tournament at Paducah Middle School. Tournament dates are Saturday August 20 & Sunday, August 21. Men’s Doubles and Women’s Doubles will play Saturday, August 20. Mixed Doubles will play Sunday, August 21. Division days may change based on enrollment. Registration begins June 27. Early bird registration for the Paddle Up Paducah Pickleball Tournament ends on Thursday, July 28. This deadline guarantees participants a t-shirt. The final deadline is set for Thursday, August 11. The cost is $25 per person. The player can compete in two events for an extra $5 fee. Players must be at least 16 years or older. There are five skill levels offered to players at registration. The levels are 2.0, 2.5, 3.0, 3.5, and 4.0. The skill rating definitions are listed on the following websites: www.usapa.org and www.ifpickleball.org. Participants are responsible for ensuring they have a partner for the event and provide the name of their partner when registering. Since all events are in a doubles format, both partners will need to register for each event in which they are participating. Awards will be handed out in each division for first, second, and third place teams for each skill level. Bracket format will be double elimination or round robin based on the number of teams in each event. Teams will be notified of approximate start time prior to the tournament.

TENNIS CARNIVAL Join in a morning of tennis fun! Paducah Parks & Recreation is hosting a Kids Tennis Carnival on Thursday July 7 at the Noble Park Tennis Courts. Ages 5-8 will go from 9:00 am-9:50 am and ages 9-14 will be from 10:00 am-10:50 am. This Tennis Carnival is a FREE event for boys and girls of all playing abilities. A variety of activities and games testing your tennis skills will be part of the fun; as well as special prizes and treats. Advanced registration is not required.
FALL BALL YOUTH LEAGUE Paducah Parks and Recreation will be offering a Fall Ball Youth League for boys and girls ages 4 to 12. The 4-6 year olds will play tee ball, 7-9 year olds will start with tee ball and transition to coach pitch based on each player's ability, and 10-12 year olds will be player pitch. Our focus for this league will be to teach kids the fundamentals of the game including throwing, baserunning, fielding, and hitting. The league will be held on Tuesdays from 6:00 - 7:15 pm. at the Noble Park Ball Fields on September 6, 13, 20, and 27. Rain makeup days are set for October 4 & 11. Each night will consist of 30 minutes of practice and a scrimmage for 45 minutes. Players should bring their own glove, tennis shoes or cleats, and athletic apparel. All other equipment will be provided. Registration begins August 1. The cost is $20 per child and the registration deadline is August 25.

PARENTS NIGHT OUT Need an evening out without the kids? Kids ages 5-12 years old are invited for a night of pizza, games, and arts & crafts at the Paducah Recreation Center from 6:00 pm - 9:00 pm. Enjoy an opportunity to take a well deserved break while your children are safe and having a blast with the Recreation Staff. Fee is $10 per child.

GREENWAY TRAIL FUN RUN The Greenway Trail Fun Run is back for runners of all ages and skill levels. The run will start at the Greenway Trail entrance in Bob Noble Park. The trail will then head towards Stuart Nelson Park and turn around ending back at the Greenway Trail entrance. The course will be 2.5 miles. Registration begins at 5:30pm in Shelter 19 and it is free to participate. Advanced registration will not be required. Be sure to stay after the run. There will be drawings for prizes.

ESPORTS Paducah Parks & Recreation is diving into hosting esports rec leagues for the community where you can play your favorite games with other gamers from the comfort of your own home. Our esports league is for all ages. We encourage you to join our esports community today.

TENNESSEE RIVERLINE FREE PADDLING EVENTS Save the dates!!! Tennessee Riverline will be offering free paddling events in 2022 on June 18, July 16, August 20, September 17, and October 15. Community members are encouraged to participate in these recreational and educational river paddling opportunities. Registration for these paddle events will be conducted through Paducah Parks and Recreation. Additional information will be released soon. INDEPENDENCE DAY CELEBRATION The City of Paducah invites your entire family to the riverfront for the Independence Day Celebration on Monday, July 4 to enjoy family fun with food, fireworks, and free entertainment on Wilson Stage. The fireworks show is back on the riverfront for the first time since 2019. An estimated 10,000-15,000 people come each year to the riverfront to enjoy Paducah’s celebration. Viewing is available along the riverfront near Wilson Stage, Schultz Park, and the Transient Boat Dock. Additional information on the celebration will be released on our website at www.paducahky.gov/independence-day-celebration The fireworks show begins at 9:15 p.m.

MOVIES IN THE PARK Movies in the Park will be presenting a family-friendly movie in Bob Noble Park on Thursday nights in June and July. Bring a blanket or lawn chairs, snacks, and insect repellent so you can set up on the grassy area between the Noble Park Pool and Lake Gerry B. Montgomery. Each movie will start at dusk which is approximately 8:15 pm. It is free to attend.

NOBLE PARK FISH OUT The Noble Park Fish Out is a free tournament for kids from 5 to 12 years of age on Saturday, June 4 at Lake Gerry B. Montgomery in Bob Noble Park. Registration begins at 8:30 am at Shelter 10 (across the road from Noble Park Pool). Fishing is from 9:00 am until 11:00 am. An awards ceremony will follow at Shelter 10. This is a catch and release tournament. Children may use their own pole, bring their own bait, or borrow a pole and/or bait from Paducah Parks & Recreation while supplies last. A fishing license is not needed as youth under the age of 16 do not need a fishing license in Kentucky. Awards will be given for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place in the categories of Largest Fish and Most Fish Caught for both boys and girls. Gift bags will be handed out to the first 75 people to register.
PADUCAH REGATTA The Paducah Regatta will be on Saturday, June 18 at the Noble Park Pool. Registration begins at 8:45 am with the boat races at 10:00 am. The cost is $20 per boat. The goal is to race it across the pool without sinking using materials such as cardboard and duct tape to construct a boat. Awards include: Titanic Award for the fastest or most dramatic sinking. Largest Crew Award for the boat that is able to float while holding the most crew members. Crowd Favorite Award. Overall Winner for the boat that reaches the other side of the pool with the fastest time out of all heats. All judges' decisions are final. Participants are given a maximum of one hour to build their boat. All boat-building must stop at 9:45 am. All of the supplies to build your boat will be provided.

GREENWAY TRAIL The Clyde F. Boyles Greenway Trail extends more than 5 miles. The trail is open to nonmotorized traffic from dawn to dusk. The trail links residential neighborhoods with the Perkins Creek Nature Preserve, Stuart Nelson Park, Bob Noble Park, Schultz Park, the McCracken County trail system, and the riverfront. Distance markers, shelters, and benches are located along the trail.

NATURE TRAIL & PECK EDUCATION TRAIL The Peck Education Trail is a beautiful addition to Bob Noble Park. The half mile trail opened in December 2020. It connects to the existing Nature Trail located behind the Amphitheatre with the Noble Park Trace near the Cairo Road park entrance. The trail includes: 0.5 mile winding trail with boardwalks and a switchback Tree identification labels Children's Memorial Garden with 19 dogwoods and benches honoring the children killed in the 1995 Oklahoma City Federal Building bombing
WALKING TRAILS Walking Trails can be found at the following parks: Albert Jones Park: 0.22 mile loop trail Bob Noble Park: Over 2.5 miles of trails and access to Greenway Trail. Brockenborough Rotary Health Park: 0.33 mile loop trail Riverfront/Schultz Park: Over 0.5 mile of trails and access to Greenway Trail Stuart Nelson Park: Over 1 mile of trails and access to Greenway Trail.

PLAYGROUNDS The City of Paducah park system has eight playgrounds located in the following parks: Bob Noble Park (2) Brockenborough Rotary Health Park Keiler Park Kolb Park Langstaff Park Robert Coleman Park Stuart Nelson Park
MUSIC GARDEN Location: Bob Noble Park near Lake Gerry B. Montgomery On September 21, 2020, the community celebrated the ribbon cutting for the Music Garden; an interactive playground with instruments designed to withstand the outdoor elements. The play area is on the west side of Lake Gerry B. Montgomery. This Music Garden is the result of a public-private partnership with fundraising by seven local garden clubs and private donors to purchase the instruments. The City of Paducah installed the instruments and prepared the music garden's base.
HEALTH PARK FITNESS COURSE & WEIGHT EQUIPMENT Location: Pat & Jim Brockenborough Rotary Health Park is located at 421 North 13th Street There is multiple outdoor weight equipment pieces under a canopy. Plus there is a fitness course for people of all ages to test their abilities and coordination.

MIDTOWN GOLF COURSE Location: Midtown Golf Course, 1122 Adams Street Midtown Golf Course is a free course located near the downtown and uppertown areas of Paducah where golf, disc golf, and FootGolf can all be played on the same course. The wide open area sits on ten acres just behind Jetton Soccer Field. Each hole has a disc golf basket and holes for golf and FootGolf. This is a great course for kids, beginners, and adults. The course is open seven days a week from dawn to dusk.
STUART NELSON DISC GOLF COURSE Location: Stuart Nelson Park, 175 Stuart Nelson Park Road The City of Paducah opened an 18-hole disc golf course at Stuart Nelson Park in 2007. This course is open seven days a week during park hours. Each hole has a sign that shows the hole layout, the par, and the distance in feet. Some holes have multiple baskets for additional playing options.

OHIO RIVER BOAT LAUNCH Location: 275 Burnett Street The Ohio River Boat Launch is located at the intersection of North 6th and Burnett Streets just north of downtown. The lighted facility with surveillance equipment consists of an 85-space parking area and a five to six lane boat ramp. A courtesy dock is at the site. The length of the courtesy dock depends upon the level of the Ohio River. When all sections are at the facility, the courtesy dock is 8 by 80 feet. Fishing is allowed at the Boat Launch but anglers are asked to fish from the river bank and not from the boat launch ramp or dock. These areas are provided for the loading and unloading of boats.
FISHING & FINS PROGRAM Fishing is allowed in Noble Park and the Riverfront Park during normal park hours. Anglers 16 years old and older need a State fishing license, unless license exempt per Kentucky Department of Fish & Wildlife regulations. All anglers must follow catch limits. If you intend on keeping your trout, you will need a trout permit. Beginning in 2010, Paducah Parks & Recreation partnered with the Kentucky Department of Fish & Wildlife Resources to provide great fishing opportunities at Lake Gerry B. Montgomery in Bob Noble Park through the Fishing in Neighborhoods (FINs) program. The City of Paducah gets deliveries of catfish and rainbow trout to stock the lake each year.

TENNIS COURTS Bob Noble Park is home to five full-size and two junior tennis courts located near the Robert Cherry Civic Center. The two junior tennis courts also have shadow lines for pickleball. The courts are lit. Bleachers are located outside the fence for spectators. A restroom facility/shelter is located next to the courts. The tennis courts are open during park hours.
PADUCAH SKATEPARK The Paducah Skatepark is a concrete park located on the west side of Bob Noble Park behind the ball fields and next to the entrance to the Greenway Trail. There is no cost to using the skatepark. It is open during park hours and lights are turned on in the evenings. All users must follow posted facility rules. Know your abilities and skate at your own risk. Users shall wear a protective helmet. A restroom is located next to the skatepark.

SHELTER RESERVATIONS Paducah Parks & Recreation offers several park shelters that can be reserved for your special event. Reservations are not accepted more than one year in advance. For reservations contact Paducah Parks & Recreation at 270-444-8508 or reserve online at www.paducahky.gov/shelter-and-facility-reservations Please refer to park maps and capacity of each shelter listed online when considering which shelter works best for your event. The fees depend on the size of the shelter. Reservations are for a single day during regular park hours. Shelters include picnic tables and some include grills. Some shelters at Noble Park and Robert Coleman offer electric for an additional cost.

It is located near the basketball courts and Greenway Trail entrance in Bob Noble Park. BALLFIELDS & BATTING CAGES Paducah Parks & Recreation has four ballfields at Stuart Nelson Park, six ballfields at Noble Park, and one softball field at John Sheppard Field in Brooks Stadium Park available for use. Ballfields can be reserved in person at the Paducah Parks & Recreation Office or online. If ballfields are not reserved, they are available on a first come-first serve basis. Fields impacted by wet conditions, or are lined for a reservation, are not available for use. Rates: $10 per hour | This does not include fields that are lined and dragged. $20 per hour | This includes fields that are lined and dragged at the start of the reservation period. Minimum of three hours. $75 per day per field for tournaments | This includes fields that are lined and dragged by the start of the first game. BOB NOBLE PARK Five youth fields and one baseball field are on the west side of Bob Noble Park. These field are lit. There is ample parking is located adjacent to the fields. These fields are available for reservation. There are two batting cages that are open to public use during park hours at a first come first serve basis. STUART NELSON PARK Four lighted fields are located in Stuart Nelson Park. Three of the fields are large enough for adult softball. These fields are available for reservations. JOHN SHEPPARD FIELD This field is located in Brooks Stadium Park and is large enough for youth softball and baseball. The field is available for reservation during certain months when high school and middle school softball are not playing.

The City of Paducah opened this 340-foot Transient Boat Dock adjacent to a newly constructed park area that extends into the Ohio River in 2017. The park provides a harbor area for the transient dock. The dock, located downstream from the heart of historic downtown Paducah, provides space for transient boaters to enjoy Paducah by spending a few hours or spending several nights. Amenities include fuel (diesel and marine grade gasoline), water, power pedestals, and a sewer pumpout station (seasonal for water and sewer amenities).
RESERVATIONS Overnight reservations can be requested online using Dockwa. (No discounts). The price is per foot of boat (2022 rate: $1.25 per foot) in addition to the cost for electrical needs. Reservations by credit card only through Dockwa (no cash transactions). Nine (9) electrical/water mooring pedestals are available: 30 AMP-120v - $5.00; Dual 30 AMP-120v - $30.00; 50 AMP-240v - $10.00; Dual 50 AMP–240v - $20.00. Call 270-538-9849 between 8:30 am and 4:00 pm seven days a week for reservation information. Reservation check-in is 3:00 pm. Check-out is 11:00 am. There is no charge for water. Boaters are permitted to stay a maximum of 14 consecutive days and then must vacate the facility for a 48 hour minimum.
