2 Latching Options are available for our Sliding Stall Fronts. Both options are machined from 304 stainless steel. Our latch options offer easy one-hand latching – while providing durable design:

Lock Latch – Includes Pin Latch, Holder, and Receptacle Flip Latch – Includes Flip Latch and Safety.

Stall Doors

Many clients choose to only add stall doors – instead of fully welded stall fronts. At American Stalls, we understand that each barn is unique. Stall doors are always a very personal choice since they are used dozens of times each day. That is why every single stall door is custom built to order.

Custom options include door bottom designs, shavings guards, different yokes, and so much more. Rest assured, your stall doors will be made to your design goals and lifestyle needs.

Options include, but are not limited to:

Mesh – 90º vented mesh

Round Bars – 1" round bars at door bottom

Bedding Guards Available: 4", 6", and 8"

15+ Yoke Options – Including removable yokes, hinged yokes, french yoke, and open yokes

Door Center & Bottom – Wood or steel center and bottom rails

European Stall Fronts

HINGED STYLE

Swooping curves, graceful design, and heavy-duty hardware define our European stall fronts. These stall fronts are functional as they offer your horses maximum socialization and ventilation. They also provide your barn a sophisticated, old-age look and feel.

Our hinged stall fronts are equipped with heavy-duty stainless steel rod hinges that are fully adjustable serviceable. Our easy-to-use plunger latch prevents pinched fingers or doors stuck in a closed position. The sky is the limit when it comes to designing your European-styled stall fronts.

Euro Wings & Yoke: 1.9" round tube

Upper Bars: 1 round tube on 3 centers (2 between bars) on upper bars

HDPE LUMBER FILL

Ideal for high-use facilities, HDPE is a low-maintenance, non-porous alternative to traditional lumber. This tongue & groove fill offers excellent durability, biosecurity, and a clean, sleek appearance, perfect for training and breeding barns.

Latch Systems

PIN LATCH & PLUNGER SYSTEMS

Pin Latch – Sliding horse stalls include our pin latch made of ½” thick stainless steel. When the door is closed, the pin latch is stored at a 45º angle inside a wall sheath that is bolted either on the stall front or tongue and groove. When the door is in use, the pin latch is safely secured inside the pin provided pin receptacle.

Plunger Latch – European (hinged) stall fronts use our spring loaded plunger latch. This plunger comes with a striker plate to accept plunger latch when door is closed.

Flip Latch – Our Flip Latch is a streamlined, heavy-duty solution designed for Sliding Horse Stall Doors. Constructed from galvanized steel for superior resistance to rust and corrosion, each latch is then powder-coated to match your stall door finish, ensuring a cohesive, polished look across your barn. Its simple flip mechanism allows for quick, secure locking and unlocking, even with gloved hands. Designed to withstand daily use in high-traffic barns, it maintains a tight hold while preventing accidental opening by horses.

Gravity Latch – The Gravity Latch is a sleek, automatic locking solution designed with your horse’s safety in mind. Our Gravity Latch utilizes the force of gravity to secure the stall door as it closes, eliminating the need for extra steps. Built from heavy-duty steel, it prevents horses from pushing doors open, offering peace of mind and effortless function in every stall. (no image yet)

Feed Systems

STALL FRONTS

Grilled Feed Door – This feed option blends into your Stall Front design to allow you to feed your horses from the comfort of your aisle. Simply open the door using our Stainless Steel Plunger Latch to place hay and other feed into your horse's stall.

Swivel Feeder & Feed Bowl – Our Swivel Feeder is a steel-framed door with lumber-fill. On the back is a Stainless Steel feed bowl. This options allows you to seamlessly provide grain and feed from the comfort of the aisle.

Feed Hole – This option is complimentary on all of our horse stall systems. It is simply a welded hole opening in the grill portion of your stall front. It allows you to seamlessly add grain through the opening and into the horse stall.

Cascada Automatic Watering System

Our Cascada Automatic Watering system utilizes a contactless sensor, rather than a float or lever, to fill your water buckets perfectly every time with unrivaled reliability and convenience. It can track and learn your horses’ normal drinking behavior, then analyze and display it to you anywhere in the world via the App on your phone.

STALL FRONTS

American Stalls offers the industry-leading Nelson Automatic Waterers – a must for both the stall and pasture. Each waterer features durable construction – including stainless steel and aluminum. It features mindful design such as a removable drinking bowl for easy cleaning.

Available in various mounting options – including wall mounts and free-standing options. Contact your American Stalls Project Manager to determine which is the best waterer for your barn. All waterer systems include a limited 3 year manufacturer's warranty.

Water Systems

Integrated Water Lines

This water system allows you to integrate your water lines into your stall front's interior steel channels – allowing you to fill water buckets from the aisle. Pre-drilled holes allow you to install water switches on the stall exterior while spouts are placed on the stall interior.

DUTCH DOORS / PADDOCK DOORS

Dutch doors are the one of the most versatile options to add to any barn. Dutch Doors add style, ventilation, and sunlight to your barn.

Our doors are solid welded and come pre-hung for easy installation. Our latch systems are made from galvanized steel. They are fully manufactured for maximum durability to the elements and rigors of any working barn.

Doors can be opened from either the inside or outside. We also build single-hinged doors that can be used as entry doors. Lastly, we also manufacture sliding paddock doors – using the same high-quality track systems as our barn end doors.

Rest assured, our steel-based, exterior doors are built to last.

Dutch Doors & Paddock Doors

Dutch doors (and sliding paddock doors) are the one of the most versatile options to add to any barn. They add key functions including:

Elegance. Provide your barn that classic American look and feel. Ventilation. Gives the opportunity for more cross ventilation in each horse stall unit.

Safety. Allows for direct exit from each stall in the case of an emergency.
