This is the 2024 edition of Global Vantage a publication produced through a student-led Service Learning group at Pacific Ridge School. Global Vantage shares stories across cultural and physical borders to raise awareness of global issues.
We are a small group of devoted students working to refine and expand the magazine. We are split into two subgroups with different goals. The first focuses on advertising and manages our budget and donations. The second group is tasked with the gathering and editing of articles and creating the magazine we publish. Both groups maintain connections between partner schools.
We partner with Kibera Girls Soccer Academy in Kibera, Kenya as well as the CETYS University in Tijuana, Mexico who contribute photos and articles to the Global Vantage Magazine. We focus on the diversity of our stories and the creation of a magazine that is worthwhile and purposeful.
