WELCOME SATURDAY | AUG 16 PACIFIC WELCOME CHECK IN 8am–5pm | DeRosa University Center Ballroom Check in at the DeRosa University Center where you will pick up your Pacific ID card and room key. You will need your Pacific ID card for the dining hall and access to your residence. Move-in time will be assigned by the Housing office. All incoming new students will checkin for New Student Orientation. Students will receive an individualized schedule, orientation materials and Pacific Welcome swag bag. New students must wear their orientation badges to access program sessions, meals and activities. PACIFIC PARENTS AND FAMILIES 8am–5pm | DeRosa University Center Ballroom Are you a proud parent of a new Pacific Tiger? Stop by the Pacific Parents and Families table and learn how you can be involved as a partner in supporting your student throughout their journey PARENT AND FAMILY SOCIAL 6–7:30pm | President's Residence Mingle with other parents and meet Pacific leadership at this special reception at the home of President Christopher Callahan and First Lady Jean Callahan.

LIBRARY TOURS 9–10am, 10:30–11:30am, Noon–1pm William Knox Holt Memorial Library Join us for a tour of the William Knox Holt Memorial Library. Find out how to get help with research and scope out the best places to study. Experience the services offered by the Student Academic Support Services Hub, The Cube and the X-Space. Tours will begin in the lobby of the library. CAMPUS TOURS 9–10am, 10:30–11:30am, Noon–1pm Robert E. Burns Tower A campus tour is the best way to experience all that Pacific has to offer. Campus tours are guided by students who will show you their favorite spots on Pacific’s historical campus. Tours will depart from Burns Tower. ORIENTATION WELCOME 1–2pm | Knoles Lawn Meet university leadership, including our Vice President for Student Life and get an overview of what to expect during orientation. We'll walk you through your schedule and introduce you to the rich traditions that make Pacific unique. W-CURVE AND SUPPORTING YOUR STUDENT 2–3pm | Knoles Lawn College is an exciting ride—but like any big adventure, it comes with its highs and lows. In this session, we’ll explore the W-Curve, a model that helps explain the emotional journey many students experience during their first year. We'll also share tips and tools to help you support your student through every twist and turn. CAMPUS RESOURCE TOUR: PARENT EDITION 3–4pm | Campus Wide Join your Orientation Leader for a guided tour of campus, highlighting the key resources that will support your student throughout their Pacific journey. Along the way, hear personal stories about how these spaces have shaped their own experience PRESIDENT’S WELCOME RECEPTION 4:30–6pm | Knoles Lawn President Christopher Callahan and his cabinet welcome new students and their families to University of the Pacific during this dinner reception. Note: All orientation attendees must wear their orientation badge to gain entry to food and drink lines at meals.
