For almost nine decades, Oxford House has been built on trust, resilience, and a commitment to quality that has guided every stage of our journey. What began as a family business has grown into a multisector organisation, serving both B2B and B2C markets with the same sense of responsibility and care.
At the heart of our growth lies a clear focus on long-term value. By partnering with leading international brands such as Bosch, Neff, Nobilia, Antares and Steelcase, and by investing continuously in our people and infrastructure, we have strengthened our ability to deliver solutions that combine design, functionality, and reliable after-sales support.
As part of this ongoing evolution, we are investing in a new, state-ofthe-art showroom designed to elevate the customer experience. This space will allow us to better accommodate our customers, showcase our product portfolios more effectively, and create an environment where design, technology, and expertise come together seamlessly.
The expansion of our operations, together with the launch of Oxford House Projects, enables us to broaden our capabilities while creating new opportunities for our team. Today, Oxford House is supported by a dedicated workforce of approximately 80 professionals across sales, logistics, project management, installations, and after-sales services.
As we look ahead, our focus remains firmly on adaptability, innovation, and customer-centred solutions. We move forward with confidence, guided by the same principles that have shaped our past , integrity, commitment, and an unwavering pursuit of excellence.

About Us
Oxford House traces its roots back to 1938, when Francesco Galea took over the family business and began diversifying its operations into the manufacturing and repair of tubular steel pushchairs and prams. This early focus on craftsmanship and innovation led, over time, to the first production of tubular steel furniture in Malta.
By 1960, the company’s growth resulted in its expansion into one of the very first factories established within the Mriehel Industrial Estate. Furniture manufacturing and importation continued steadily throughout the 1980s, with further expansion in the 1990s driven by increased capacity in knock-down swivel chairs and office furniture.
Guided by foresight and a strong understanding of the market, Oxford House continued to diversify while remaining ahead of industry trends.
In 1994, Oxford House became the national representative for Bosch Domestic Appliances of Germany, marking a defining milestone in the company’s evolution. This partnership was accompanied by a major showroom expansion, further consolidating the business and strengthening its position within the Maltese market.
The former factory premises were later replaced by a modern, multi-level showroom spanning over 1,600 square metres across four floors. This transformation created the space required for continued growth, allowing the introduction of new kitchen, bedroom, office furniture, and appliance ranges.
Today, Oxford House operates as a multi-sector organisation, representing over 35 international brands and entrusted with office solutions projects by established and reputable organisations. As a family-run business, we take immense pride in our heritage and the values that continue to guide our journey, positioning the company for sustainable growth through innovation, expertise, and forwardlooking solutions.
