Practical matters
• Bags, PE bags, PE kit and school uniform need to be clearly labelled.
• Break snacks will be provided by school. Girls should bring a full, named water bottle to school each day.
• Email form tutor and office if your daughter is being picked up by someone else.
Getting ready for the classroom
Your daughter should be able to:
• recognise her own first and last name
• pre-writing activities to help develop fine motor skills
• use a pair of scissors to cut
• basic everyday maths
BEING INDEPENDENT
When your daughter starts in September she should:
be able to get dressed on her own use the toilet independently be familiar with using a knife and fork
