Summer is here! Welcome to the second edition of the Esplanade at St. Marys Lifestyle Magazine! As summer arrives along the coast, so does an exciting new chapter for our community. We are thrilled to officially welcome both our founding Members and new homebuyers as we open sales and celebrate the opening of our first nine holes of golf. The vision for Esplanade at St. Marys is quickly becoming a reality, and we couldn’t be more excited to share this journey with you. Already, the spirit of the community is coming to life through our first social gatherings, emerging clubs and interest groups, and the connections being made among neighbors. Whether it’s a casual conversation after a round of golf, a sunset social event, or discovering new shared interests, the foundation of something truly special is being built every day. As your Lifestyle team, our goal is to create experiences that inspire connection, relaxation, and a true sense of belonging. I
t’s only fitting this Team Spotlight highlights someone whose passion for people, connection, and community perfectly reflects the Esplanade Lifestyle. Please join us in welcoming Aubri Campion, our Lifestyle Manager at Esplanade at St. Marys. Born and raised in Jacksonville, Florida, Aubri joined the Esplanade team in December 2025, bringing with her a dynamic background in real estate, hospitality, and event coordination. Licensed in both Florida and Georgia, Aubri’s experience spans new construction sales, transaction coordination, and client relations - all centered around delivering exceptional experiences and personalized service. Her passion for creating memorable moments and meaningful relationships naturally led her into the lifestyle space, where she now focuses on building experiences that inspire connection, wellness, and fun among Members. “What excites me most about Esplanade is the opportunity to create experiences centered around mind, body and spirit while building genuine relationships within the community,” Aubri shares. “I’m so excited to get to know our Members and create unforgettable memories together for years to come.” When she is not planning events and connecting with the Members, Aubri enjoys spending time at the beach, reading, playing Pickleball, attending concerts, trying new restaurants, and exploring new places. We are thrilled to have Aubri as part of the Esplanade at St. Marys team and can’t wait to see the energy, creativity, and warmth she continues to bring to the community.

Furry Friends
Meet Knarles & Teddy LOVED BY THE BLOCK FAMILY
There’s never a dull moment in the Block household thanks to two four-legged personalities who keep life entertaining, active, and full of laughter. Meet Knarles and Teddy, the beloved dogs of General Manager Mike Block and his wife, Samantha Block. Knarles, the family’s three-year-old Golden Retriever, is the definition of energy, enthusiasm, and pure joy. If something is happening, Knarles is right in the middle of it. Whether Samantha is working in the garden, or Mike is tossing a ball in the backyard, or simply walking around the house, Knarles is never far behind. He thrives on attention and has a natural ability to become the center of every activity. Daily walks are one of his favorite adventures, especially when there are squirrels to stare down or geese to carefully monitor from a safe distance. Exploring the backyard is practically a full-time job for him, and he approaches every outing like it’s the most exciting expedition of the year. His playful personality and constant curiosity make him impossible not to love. Then there’s Teddy, the wise and lovable 14-year-old Goldendoodle

who has mastered the art of relaxation. While Knarles is busy creating excitement, Teddy prefers a slower pace especially if food is involved. Teddy’s greatest passions in life include long naps, scavenging the house for treats, and making sure no snack goes unnoticed. Despite their age difference, Teddy still enjoys playing with Knarles, even if it’s in shorter bursts these days. The two make the perfect pair: one full of youthful energy and the other bringing calm, comedic charm to the family dynamic. Together, they provide endless entertainment and plenty of memorable moments for Mike and Samantha. Whether it’s Knarles patrolling the backyard or Teddy searching for his next snack opportunity, these two dogs have become much more than pets―they are truly part of the family and bring joy to everyone around them.

Keith & Jackie Thompson The Members of our community are truly what make this a wonderful place to live. In each edition, we will spotlight a Member, couple or family to showcase the amazing people that call our community home. I
f you ask Keith and Jackie what they are most excited about in this next chapter of life, the answer comes easy: new adventures, meaningful connections, and making the most of every moment together. With deep roots in Georgia and a shared love for community, they’re bringing their warmth, energy, and enthusiasm to Esplanade. Keith, a lifelong Cobb County resident, recently retired after more than 30 years of service as a firefighter and paramedic. Jackie, who was born in Germany and raised in the Stone Mountain area, has built an impressive 36+ year career in HR management and is looking forward to her own retirement in October 2026. Together, they are embracing this exciting season with open arms. Family is a big part of their lives. Their three children, Pierce, Claire (and her husband Andoni), and Collin are spread between metro Atlanta and Pittsburgh. Being within driving distance of two of them made Esplanade an easy choice, along with the chance to stay connected to friends while meeting new people. They were drawn to the community for its location and overall lifestyle. The amenities, especially the culinary center and on-site dining options, stood out right away, along with the variety of home designs that fit their needs. They are also excited to be close to places like St. Marys, Fernandina Beach, Amelia Island, and Cumberland Island—spots they’re looking forward to exploring and sharing with others. Having previously lived in a close-knit golf community where neighbors became like family, Keith and Jackie are especially excited about building those same meaningful connections again. Whether
it’s a casual gathering by the pool, a festive community event, or a spontaneous outing, they’re eager to meet fellow Members and create lasting memories. In their free time, Keith enjoys golfing as often as he can and looks forward to getting into a regular rhythm—and maybe a few tournaments. In the fall, he also spends time hunting. Jackie is planning to take advantage of group classes when she retires, like yoga or water aerobics, and is open to learning something new, whether that’s pickleball or mahjong. Together, they enjoy live music, festivals, traveling, and just spending time with family and friends. A typical weekend might include a concert, relaxing by the pool, or cooking out. During college football season, they’re all in—Go Dawgs. They also enjoy traveling, especially cruising, and like the chance it gives them to see new places, try different foods, and meet new people along the way. As Esplanade continues to grow, they’re most looking forward to getting involved, attending community events, and discovering new opportunities to learn and connect. From wine tastings to golf outings to fitness classes, they’re ready to dive in and experience everything the community has to offer.

Recent Event Client Appreciation EVENT
Iron Valley Real Estate hosted a lively and welcoming Client Appreciation Event on Saturday, May 16, which brought both agents and clients together for an afternoon of connection and celebration. Four local realtors invited their clients to experience Esplanade at St. Marys firsthand, drawing in an impressive crowd of around one hundred guests who toured the beautifully designed Sales Gallery and model homes. The event created the perfect setting for meaningful conversations, new connections, and a deeper look at what makes the community so special. Guests enjoyed a variety of delicious food while mingling in a relaxed, upbeat atmosphere. Thoughtful and fun giveaways added an extra layer of excitement, leaving attendees feeling appreciated and engaged. The event not only showcased stunning homes but also highlighted our commitment to building strong relationships and creating memorable experiences for our future Members.

he Kiwanis Club of St. Marys’ primary goal is enhancing the lives of children of our community. The club organizes the Annual Independence Day Festival in July in Downtown St. Marys and the St. Marys Seafood Festival in October to raise funds to support organizations in our community focusing on children. The club has consistently served this community since chartering in 1962. They are a service-oriented club, and the weekly meetings feature a delicious meal, great fellowship, and a speaker. Make a difference in our community by volunteering with Camden House, an organization dedicated to supporting survivors of domestic violence and their children. Opportunities range from administrative support, event help, working with children, organizing donations, and hands-on projects like maintenance or moving assistance. Volunteers must be 18+ and complete basic requirements, with additional training for those working directly with survivors. Salad Dressings Back in May, Esplanade at Coasterra hosted a Salad Dressings Lab hosted by the Esplanade Resort Experiences Team member, Sarah Santa. A couple of the recipes developed by Sarah are below!
Summer Mango Vinaigrette INGREDIENTS » » » » » » » » »
1 cup fresh mango + ½ cup for garnish (or pineapple, peaches, etc.) ¼ cup olive oil 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar 1 tablespoon fresh lime juice 2 tablespoons maple syrup 3 tablespoons fresh Thai basil, cilantro, or basil + 2 tablespoons for garnish Pinch of salt 2-4 tablespoons coconut water Optional: sprinkle of chili powder
DIRECTIONS 1. Dice the mango into medium-sized cubes and roughly chop the Thai basil (reserve 2 tablespoons of herbs for salad garnish). 2. Add 2/3 cup of mango, Thai basil (or herb of choice) and all dressing ingredients to a blender. 3. Blend until smooth. To thin out the consistency, add 1-2 tablespoons of coconut water (or filtered water) to the blender. 4. Store dressing in a mason jar in the fridge for up to 10 days. 5. Served best chilled over fresh greens like butter lettuce or arugula, sliced cucumber and avocado.

¼ cup sunflower butter (if needed, swap sunflower butter for other seed and nut butters, such as tahini, almond butter, or peanut butter) 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice 2 tablespoons coconut aminos (or soy sauce) 1 ½ tablespoons maple syrup 1 ½ - 2 tablespoons olive oil 2-inch knob of fresh ginger (peeled and chopped) 2 cloves of garlic (peeled and chopped) 1/4 cup water, as needed to thin Garnishes: sunflower seeds, dried goji berries, edamame, shelled
DIRECTIONS 1. Combine all ingredients in a bowl and blend with an immersion blender or food processor. 2. Adjust flavor with more or less lemon juice and coconut aminos. 3. Store dressing in a mason jar in the fridge for up to 10 days. 4. Serve with a choice of slaw (e.g., cabbage, kale, carrots).

Around Town INDEPENDENCE DAY FESTIVAL Saturday, July 4 | 9 a.m. - 10 p.m. Downtown St. Marys | visitstmarys.com The Kiwanis Club of St. Marys Independence Day Festival celebration offers hometown charm plus a parade and fireworks over the St. Marys River. Other activities include a 5K and 10K Run, arts & crafts vendors, and entertainment throughout the day at the St. Marys Waterfront Park. The day’s highlight will be the Firework Display over the St. Marys River in downtown St. Marys. This event is organized and planned by the St. Marys Kiwanis Club.
