Join us for Pickled Pink, a fun-filled pickleball event supporting breast cancer awareness, savor delicious bites during our popular Food Truck Nights, and explore new flavors at Cooking & Cocktails. Celebrate the season at our festive Oktoberfest at the Bahama Bar Beer Garden with beer specials, food, and live entertainment, then embrace your creative side at our Pumpkin Painting class and Fall Floral Workshop.

splanade Lake Club Board of Directors is pleased to announce that Mark Lorenz has accepted the position of Resort Manager for our community. Mark officially joined
the Esplanade Lake Club team on Friday, July 24, and we are excited to welcome him to our Community. Mark is eager to get to work! Mark brings more than 20 years of leadership experience in hospitality, food and beverage operations, and community management. Most recently, he served as Regional Food & Beverage Operations Director for Seacrest Southwest Property Management, where he worked closely with community managers, boards of directors, committees, and residents to deliver exceptional service while overseeing restaurant and amenity operations. Throughout his career, Mark has built a reputation for developing high-performing teams, enhancing resident and guest experiences, improving operational efficiency, and maintaining strong financial stewardship. Prior to his current role, he spent nearly 19 years with Gyarmathy & Associates, overseeing operations for multiple restaurant locations with more than $21 million in annual sales.

You might confuse monarch butterflies with other orange and black butterflies—the viceroy, and the queen butterfly. Learn to tell the difference and ways you can help monarchs and other butterflies year-round! Recent Events
S
ummer has been full of fun, laughter, and great memories! We enjoyed a wonderful turnout at our Red, White & Roll Bocce Social and Dink, Drink, Boom Pickleball Social, where Members soaked up the sunshine, friendly competition, and festive Fourth of July spirit. Our four-legged friends joined in the fun at Yappy Hour, enjoying an evening of treats, tail wags, and socializing with fellow pups and their owners. To top it all off, we beat the summer heat with a fun-filled Bowling Night at HeadPinz, where Members enjoyed strikes, spares, and plenty of laughs together. Our Back-to-School Drive was another great success! Thanks to the generosity of our Members, we collected 30 backpacks to donate to Eva’s Closet in support of local students as they prepare for the new school year. Thank you to everyone who participated and helped make this year’s drive a success.

Tournament: 8 a.m. - 12 p.m. Pickleball Courts Fundraising Cocktail Reception: 4 - 6 p.m. at The Venue In honor of breast cancer awareness month, register to take part in competitive play on the courts with Members of Esplanade Lake Club, as you enjoy entertainment by our DJ, and light refreshments! This 4-hour tournament will consist of timed round-robin for three divisions of play – beginner, intermediate, and advanced. At the conclusion of the tournament, Members may take the day to rest, then join us at The Venue for a cocktail reception offering lite bites and a complimentary event signature cocktail. Top finishers in each division will be recognized at the reception. There will also be raffles and silent auction items. Both men and women are encouraged to come dressed in their best pink pickleball attire as we participate in a shared effort to raise money for Partners for Breast Cancer Care of SWFL. REGISTRATION: The cost is $75 per person. Space is limited. Watch for emails with information on registration.
