September and October are full of fall fun, friendly faces, and festive happenings! As the temperatures begin to hopefully cool down from the summer heat, our community calendar is still heating up with new ways to connect, create, and celebrate the season.
We’re heading out for adventure with a Casino Day Trip, getting hands-on with Pumpkin Painting & Carving, and bringing the whole community together for our Annual Trunk or Treat and pet-friendly Howl-O-Ween celebration.
Plus, cozy up under the stars for our Halloween Movie Night, perfect for families and friends to enjoy together.
And an exciting update—your Lifestyle Manager will be joining the Destinations by Esplanade group trip to Italy at the end of September! Be sure to wish me and your fellow Esplanade travelers, “Buon viaggio!”

HEAD TEACHING PROFESSIONAL
My name is Michael and I’ve been teaching tennis at the Lake Club for just over two years now. I was also fortunate enough to add pickleball late last year. I played just about every sport as a kid and have always been involved in athletics.
I served in the Army and spent most of my life in the Tech field working and training others. I found tennis again later in my life and absolutely fell in love with it. I had an opportunity to combine my passion for tennis, fitness, and my years of experience as a trainer and turn it into a career that I love.
I’m really excited to be working here with such great people. My coworkers and all the Members of Esplanade Lake Club have been so welcoming and generous. I’m looking forward to the future of the community and what we can build together.

From all of us here at Lake Club, we are thankful to all the Members and their generosity this back-to-school season. We were able to not only fill all the Tags from the wish tree, but our Members went above and beyond providing additional supplies and backpacks to even more deserving children in our local community. We collected over 34 filled backpacks and one full tote bin of additional supplies, such as pencils, erasers, notebooks and more.

Fourth of July CELEBRATION
This fourth of July our Members had a blast. Despite possible weather conditions, we had over 12 golf carts fully decked out in their independence best as we paraded through the community spreading our patriotism loud and proud! After the parade the rain held off as we celebrated with root beer floats, games, poolside music and fun with our neighbors and friends!

In honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, register with your doubles partner and take part in competitive play on the courts with Members of your Esplanade community, as you enjoy live entertainment by our DJ, and light refreshments!
This 4-hour tournament will consist of a 1-hour, timed round-robin event for Men’s and Women’s doubles, and mixed doubles play. After the tournament, the top three doubles teams from each event will be recognized at a special awards ceremony.
Both men and women are encouraged to come dressed in their best pink pickleball attire, as we participate in a shared effort to raise money and end breast cancer. Spectators are also encouraged to wear pink and cheer on their neighbors!
Registration must be completed in person at the Resort Amenity Center during office hours. We hope to see you there!

Rocktober Round-Robin

Join us on the tennis courts for a rockin’ good time for mixed doubles play. This will be a team event with Team Rockin’ vs. Team Rollin’. Teams will be divided up into doubles-matches against each other. All points will be added to the overall team score to determine the winner of the day!

Late Summer Nights with Bocce Socials
Wednesdays I 5 - 8 p.m.
Join fellow neighbors on Wednesday evenings all summer long for pickup games at the bocce courts. Enjoy social play as the sun sets on the lake. Winners of each match stay on the courts as other groups rotate through.
