Genesis Urrutia YOUR WELLNESS CONCIERGE

G

enesis Urrutia is a high school senior who strives to make the most of every opportunity. She plans to attend college out of state to study business, driven by her interest in working with people, learning continuously, and shaping a meaningful career path. Proud of her Salvadoran heritage, Genesis finds that her culture keeps her grounded, encourages her strong work ethic, and reinforces the importance of family and community. This connection is a key reason she enjoys being involved and supporting others. As a Wellness Concierge, she greets Members, assists with daily needs, and contributes to a welcoming environment. At school, she is actively involved in Student Government, National Honor Society, Debate, DECA, Model UN, Lely Leaders, and Naples Juniorette. These organizations have helped her strengthen her leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Outside of work and school, Genesis enjoys reading, spending time at the beach, and being with

family and friends. She also dedicates time to volunteering through animal shelters and school events, as giving back remains an important part of her life. Overall, Genesis is someone who values involvement, connection, and personal growth. She is excited for the opportunities ahead and ready to embrace her next chapter.

Pickled Pink was truly an extraordinary event that showcased teamwork, passion, and heart in every detail. A special shoutout to Sheneka, who led the charge and inspired everyone to deliver an unforgettable experience. We raised $8,900 in support of breast cancer, which will make a real difference right here in Collier County. Thank you to everyone that participated in this truly impactful event.

The Esplanade community stepped back into the roaring ‘20s for an unforgettable evening at our Gatsby Signature Event. From the moment guests arrived, the atmosphere was electric, filled with sparkling décor, jazz-inspired elegance, and the unmistakable glamour of the 1920s. Members dressed to impress, donning flapper dresses, feathers, pearls, fedoras, and sharp suits that perfectly captured the spirit of the era.

5 - 6 apples, peeled and sliced (Granny Smith or Honeycrisp work well) 2 tablespoons lemon juice 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon ¼ teaspoon nutmeg ¼ cup sugar 1 tablespoon flour

CRUMBLE TOPPING INGREDIENTS » » » » » »

¾ cup rolled oats ½ cup flour ½ cup brown sugar ½ cup cold butter, cubed ¼ tsp salt Chopped pecans or walnuts (optional)

DIRECTIONS 1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). 2. Lightly grease a 9x13 baking dish. 3. In a bowl, toss apple slices with lemon juice, cinnamon, nutmeg, sugar, and flour. Spread evenly in the baking dish. 4. Begin preparing the topping by combining oats, flour, brown sugar, and salt. 5. Cut in the cold butter using a fork or your fingers until the mixture becomes crumbly. Stir in nuts (if applicable). 6. Sprinkle the crumble topping evenly over the apples. 7. Bake for 40 - 45 minutes, or until the topping is golden and the apples are tender and bubbling around the edges. 8. Let cool slightly before serving. 9. Serving idea: Serve warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or a dollop of whipped cream for the perfect cozy winter dessert.
