Letter From the Lifestyle Team JENNIFER ROBB YOUR LIFESTYLE MANAGER
It is summer time at Azario! And, there is so much summer fun to be had! We have a few activities that happen each month including our Ladies Lunch Bunch, Men’s Breakfast, Sunset Sips, and our Monthly Member Meetings (Coffee and Conversation, Neighborhood News, and Esplanade 101). These continue to grow each and every month and are a great way to get your feet wet in our Lifestyle Programming! We also have some exciting clubs that are run by members and already meeting weekly and monthly, including a Mah-Jongg Club, a Creative Arts Club, and many clubs and groups of people getting together to play golf and enjoy our Sports Courts! In addition to our clubs and Monthly Events, our summer programming will consist of different ways to stay cool and check out some local favorite spots while the crowds are gone. An Ice Cream Social on the Lanai is a perfect way to beat the heat, and if that’s not quite your speed, join us for a cold beverage at the Naughty Monk Brewery! August will feature our Back to School Supply Drive to contribute to our wonderful community along with its students and teachers. Then, finish the summer up with a Rum Tour and Yappy Hour. We couldn’t be happier about spending the summer together!

Jennifer Robb YOUR LIFESTYLE MANAGER
W
e are thrilled to welcome Jen Robb to the Esplanade team! Jen will be our new Lifestyle Manager for Esplanade at Azario Lakewood Ranch. She is a local and has a solid understanding of her market and the area attractions. Jen was born in the 70’s at Sarasota Memorial Hospital, in a much smaller town at the time. She attended Fruitville Elementary, McIntosh Middle and then moved to Manatee County where she graduated from Bayshore High. As a Florida native, Jen thoroughly enjoys the Florida lifestyle as well as exploring and traveling; she's always up for trying new things! Jen loves relaxing at area restaurants with her three adult children who also still live and work in the area. Jen has a great deal of experience in the sales and marketing industry, and she loves sharing her knowledge of the Sarasota area with others and helping people live their best lives in Florida! The Lifestyle Manager role is a natural fit for Jen because it merges her love for people with her enjoyment in putting on fun and beneficial events. Jen has won several awards in sales and marketing and is truly looking forward to using her skills and abilities to deliver exquisite service and create memorable experiences for our Esplanade Members. DERBY DAY Esplanade at Azario Lakewood Ranch enjoyed its very first Signature Event in May! The day kicked off with a trolley ride from Azario to the event barn where members were greeted by a live folk band, a vintage drink cart, and a derby horse! Members enjoyed the signature mint julep while taking photos with the horse and playing cornhole. A custom cigar roller creating new Esplanade cigars made a perfect take home gift to finish off a fun evening of drinks and dancing! Around Town EMBRACING OUR DIFFERENCES INTERNATIONAL ART EXHIBIT Now Through August 8, 2021 | Free to the Public Nathan Benderson Park, 5851 Nathan Benderson Circle, Sarasota An international art exhibit designed to proclaim inclusion, respect and kindness debuts at Sarasota-Bradenton’s Nathan Benderson Park. The annual, juried art exhibit is composed by a Sarasota-based arts and education non-profit, Embracing Our Differences (EOD). It consists of 50 billboard-sized works of art, each accompanied by an inspirational quote. The international exhibit uses the power of art and prose to promote diversity and inclusion. The 2021 exhibit brought 15,912 entries from 128 nations, and from 48 states in America. The winning quotes and art are showcased in Sarasota’s Bayfront Park every year, from January through March. Thanks to the generosity of the Charles & Margery Barancik Foundation, the public will have another opportunity to see this exhibit. Visit embracingourdifferences.org to learn more.

STEWARDSHIP Taylor Morrison has teamed up with the National Wildlife Federation to restore and protect wildlife habitats in our communities nationwide! We are applying National Wildlife Federation’s Certified Wildlife Habitat standards to community parks and open spaces to protect natural areas. We are developing Habitat Management Plans for our homeowners’ associations to promote engagement and successful long-term stewardship of these habitats.
DID YOU KNOW? Our partnership advances monarch butterfly recovery efforts by planting and maintaining chemical-free demonstration butterfly gardens, planting native milkweed throughout our communities, and educating the community!
