Last month in my column, I talked about Strategizing for Back to School. One of the things I suggested parents might consider doing is planning a farewell to summer activity or family trip. Well, I’ve got good news, you may not have to go too far to bid farewell to summer with a bang.
Several San Antonio organizations have banned together to present the first ever Kidcation, a weeklong program of activities geared to families with kids. During Kidcation local theme parks, museums, restaurants, hotels and other business establishments are offering special or extended programs and activities with families and kids in mind. Some activities include free movies, book readings, museum tours and trolley tours, free museum admission and more. See article on page 10 for more information.
