The content in this report has been informed by our work and conversations over the past
several months with Canadian and Australian not-for-profit organisations, as well as various
sector leaders and fundraisers. We thank those organisations and leaders for their fellowship
in thinking and talking through some of the challenges they have been facing.
The COVID-19 pandemic is affecting all not-for-profits wherever they are, providing yet
another grim reminder that “we are all in this together”. Tackling these real-time, on the
ground problems has been instructive in shaping the advice and guidance we are pleased to
