THE SCHOLARSHIP
SCHOLARSHIP REQUIREMENTS
• All Ouimet Scholarship candidates must have completed at least two years of service to golf at a Massachusetts golf course.
• Candidates must plan to attend an accredited post-secondary undergraduate college or trade school full-time. This includes junior and community colleges, as well as programs leading to bachelor’s or associate degrees.
• Students may apply as high school seniors or during their undergraduate or trade school studies.

HOW ARE FINANCIAL AWARDS DETERMINED?
• Ouimet Scholars are accepted on a meritbased application and interview process.
• The amount of a Scholar’s financial award is determined by family financial need. The Ouimet Fund analyzes tuition costs, grants, and the estimated family contribution through the submitted CSS and FAFSA forms.
• Honorary “Book Awards” of $750 are for Ouimet Scholars who do not display family financial need for that year.
