Establishing an endowed scholarship in the name of a family member, friend, or organization is a lasting way to honor their legacy. Named endowed scholarships are permanently restricted funds invested to ensure the scholarship’s existence in perpetuity. These awards strengthen The Fund’s financial foundation by generating sustainable support for Ouimet Scholars, as Named Endowed Scholarships fund 46% of the total annual Ouimet Scholarship awards. The Named Endowed Scholarship Program creates a meaningful connection between the donor, honoree, or sponsoring organization and golf, Francis Ouimet, youth, and education. Many donors share the deep sense of fulfillment that comes from helping shape a young student’s future. Over the last three decades, The Ouimet Fund’s Named Endowed Scholarship Program has grown to include over 200 endowed scholarships, becoming a cornerstone of long-term growth and a lasting testament to donors’ commitment to the mission.
