In 1925, Woolaroc began as a rustic ranch retreat for Frank Phillips, founder of Phillips Petroleum. Its sheer novelty attracted world leaders, dignitaries, tycoons, heroes and stars of the day. Today, Woolaroc is an icon of the Old West with a world-class Western Art museum, hunting lodge and collection of exotic animals roaming the grounds.
