The first of three volumes published as part of my Architecture and Urban Planning Graduation Thesis, wherein I analyse the role of linear barriers of urban scale, such as seas and rivers, mountain ranges, and railroads, in the historical development of human settlements.
All of the content within, including diagrams, plans, and images, were developed solely by for this work. Images gathered during research are appropriately tagged as such, and their sources can be found in the book's reference list. All three books that comprise this work were published solely as the product of graduate research, and are not to be used for profit by me or anyone else.
