A Time for Celebration The holidays are coming up quickly and they are a time for celebration; Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year’s. We celebrate being with our families and we celebrate with our brother Knights being thankful for each other and being thankful for the birth of our Savior, Jesus Christ. The number one lament I heard from brother Knights during and just after the COVID lockdown was not being able to spend time with our brother Knights. Let’s face it, it’s very hard to “celebrate” alone by yourself. We are fraternal men. The councils throughout the Archdiocese are doing some incredible work in the spirit of Blessed

Michael McGivney every day. All of the good works we do in his name, no matter how how large or how small really makes a di erence in our parishes and communities. Even when it happens behind the scenes. Personally, not a day goes by that I am not thankful for the Knights of Columbus, and you my brother Knights. I am truly blessed by knowing all of you and having known our fellow brothers who have passed on – for this I am a better person and I am truly thankful for you. Happy Thanksgiving!
