2023 Ohio State Council
Convention This month is the weekend so many of us are looking forward to – State Convention weekend, May 19, 20, 21. So have you bought a horse or race for the Night at the Races at the Friday Night Party yet? I’ve bought both and I’ll bet you’ll know which horse mine is!
Finally, thank you for all the Super Cash Tickets you have sold and turned in so far – but please don’t quit now, there is still plenty of time to keep selling for Charity!
If there is anything we can say about this fraternal year is that “we’re back”, and this year’s convention is the culmination of our hard work, and our Worthy State Warden promises us this will be one fun convention. It is also an election year for a new State Warden along with a by-law amendment and several good resolutions to be read. I hope you’ll be able to make it and stop by the diocesan hospitality room.
We have two - yes 2 nights at the Dayton Dragon’s DayAir ballpark. The rst is Saturday, June 10 at 7:05 PM organized by the Dayton Chapter, and the second is the next day, June 11th at 1:05 PM hosted by the northern councils. Both games will feature Fourth Degree Knights presenting the colors prior to the match-up. Support one or both. It’s going to be an awesome weekend for baseball!

And there is still plenty of time to buy and sell SCB tickets. If history is any indicator, we are very close to hitting that one million dollars in sales. Please keep up the good work. You can drop sold tickets and checks o at my house (up through Sunday May 13th) or bring them to the convention and drop them o at the Super Cash booth by the registration desks.
The plates feature the new Ohio Birthplace of Aviation design along with the new updated Knights of Columbus logo. What a great way to show your support and show your Knights pride. I hope to see you at the convention or at the upcoming State Tour July 7 at Dayton 500. Vivat Jesus! Michael J. Felerski State Treasurer

Super Cash – I (still) Need You!
The new Knights of Columbus license plates are now available from the Ohio BMV. The plates cost an additional $20 per year and $10 of that fee goes the state’s Measure-Up Campaign. Last year we received nearly $2,600 from the sale and registration of these plates.

By the time you receive this issue there will still be just a couple of days left to register and receive a room at our discounted rate. So act fast, there’s no time to lose.
