A New Fraternal Year, New Beginnings, and Old Friends!
I am pleased to announce that the Cincinnati Archdiocese tour stop returns to Dayton 500’s Bainbridge Hall on Saturday, July 16th, 2022. The doors will open at 12:00 Noon and yes, a lunch will be provided! The presentation will then begin promptly at 13:00 (1:00 PM). It will conclude by 15:00 because this is an abbreviated tour year. Look forward to receiving updates on Supreme programs, our State Program by Andrew Nuckols; How Do We Reach Star featuring PSD Ken Girt; all new membership incentives by Michael Freil; and of course state o cer speci c program reports. As is tradition, I will be presenting our Support Our Seminarians check to Archdiocese Vocations Director Father Dan Schmitmeyer. Andrew Nuckols will be presenting a few awards from last fraternal year, and I will be giving out Super Cash Bonanza rebate checks to the TOP FIVE COUNCILS in the Archdiocese!
State Per Capita & Football Did you know that Ohio has one of the lowest Per Capita rates in the entire Order? Around the time of publishing this edition the State Per Capita bills will be going out into the mail. Our per capita is one of the lowest in our Order precisely because of our annual Football Sweeps Ticket sales. The beauty of the Football Sweeps program is not only a council able to earn income from the sale of the tickets to be used for any need, but by hitting goals at both the council and state levels you’ll receive rebates which are directly applied to your next year’s state per capita. With enough sales councils could literally pay no per capita.
PSD Gary Eckstein will be on hand to hand out tickets and review the program at the upcoming Archdiocese State Tour stop in Dayton.
This is a big issue for The Arch and you’ll nd articles on program updates, growth in our order, life, bene ts, the annual Fatima USA Mass, and the all too handy last page of program chairman/ directors contact information. We’re heading down the runway and this plane is about to take o for FY 2022-23! Vivat Jesus!

One of my all time favorite events is the State Tour. It was the rst non council event I went to and enjoyed everything from the information to the skits. I even got a Bator Bucks hat!
