A MESSAGE FROM OUR President

Advocacy and property rights remain at the core of the real estate profession and the foundation of strong communities. As REALTORS®, we play a critical role in protecting the rights of property owners while promoting policies that support responsible growth, housing opportunities, and economic stability. Throughout the year, our Association has remained committed to advocating at the local, state, and national levels on issues that directly impact homeowners, investors, and the real estate industry. Property ownership is one of the most important investments individuals and families make. Ensuring that private property rights are preserved requires ongoing engagement with lawmakers, municipal leaders, and community stakeholders. From zoning and land-use regulations to taxation, insurance, and housing affordability, our advocacy efforts are focused on creating balanced solutions that protect property owners while supporting sustainable development. This year, our Association is actively monitoring legislative proposals and working collaboratively with elected officials to champion policies that strengthen homeownership opportunities and encourage fair, transparent housing practices. We are also continuing to educate our members on emerging issues affecting the industry, empowering REALTORS® to serve as informed advocates within their communities. In addition, we recognize that advocacy extends beyond legislation. It includes
