Eligibity Requirements Requirements

You must be a member of the Association in good standing with dues/payments up to date and no professional standard cases pending against you.

You must have an active real estate license.

You must be an active member of a 2026 committee or task force or agree to apply for a 2027 committee or task force.

You must complete and submit the application by the deadline and be available, if requested for an interview with the Executive Committee.

You must attend all of the sessions in order to satisfactorily complete the program and be eligible to graduate. If you miss a session, you will be asked to withdraw and re-apply when you are able to make the commitment.

OSCEOLAREALTORS® LEADERSHIPACADEMY 2026INAUGURALCLASS

The Leadership Academy is a selective program designed to develop emerging REALTOR® leaders who want to make a difference, grow their businesses, and expand their leadership skills. Whether your aspirations are directed toward leading an Association committee, serving on the Board of Directors, or a community organization, the Association’s Leadership Program will empower you to maximize your leadership potential.

Mandatory Classroom Requirements: Participants will be required to attend all training sessions:

Participants receive mentorship and hands-on leadership training through classroom learning, team-building, networking, and communication skill development Graduates of the Association’s Leadership Academy will serve as mentors for future participants

For 2026, up to 20 members will be selected through an application process open January 28–February 10, 2026, with finalists reviewed by the Executive Committee, which may conduct interviews before recommending candidates to the Board of Directors.

Applicants must submit a completed application, current resume, and one letter of recommendation.

Mandatory Attendance Requirements:

*Attend one (1) FREC Meeting If you are unable to attend the meeting scheduled by the Association, you are required to schedule a meeting on your own time

Attend Florida REALTORS® Annual Convention & Expo in Orlando, taking place August 19-23, 2026. Attend at least one of the Association’s Committee Meetings

Attend the Association’s Annual General Meeting on October 29, 2026, at which the Leadership Academy graduation will take place.

Graduation: Your achievement will be recognized at the Annual Membership Meeting on October 29, 2026

Post-Graduation Requirement: You consent to possibly serve as a mentor for the following year’s candidates and apply to serve on one of the Association’s committees for 2027

Absence from any part of the program for any reason will be cause for dismissal from the program, with no refund of fees paid.
