A MESSAGE FROM OUR
President
At the beginning of March, we took a delegation of our members to Tallahassee for Great American Realtor Days. We traveled to Tallahassee to meet with our State Legislators and share Florida Realtors’® legislative priorities and how they affect our businesses, buyers, sellers, landlords, and tenants. Some of those priorities include preserving and protecting Florida's state parks and their natural resources, limiting NFIP lookback periods for substantial damage and improvements, speeding up the removal of squatters from commercial properties, supporting the Hometown Heros Housing Program, supporting the My Safe Florida Homes and My Safe Florida Condo Program, and continuing to support water quality programs while monitoring the effectiveness of ongoing property insurance reforms.

Our Legislators are always very responsive and they understand the importance of homeownership.
