FY 26/27 budget planning is underway
It’s budget season in Oro Valley, and residents are invited to engage and learn more about the Town’s financial priorities for the 2026/27 fiscal year, which begins July 1. The first step is reviewing the Town Manager’s Recommended Budget, which is tentatively scheduled for publication the week of April 20. Public input helps guide decisions that impact Town services, infrastructure and long-term investments, so please consider participating in the following public meetings, which will be held in OV Council Chambers, 11000 N. La Cañada Dr.

Free document shredding for OV residents

Bring your documents, watch them get shredded on-site, and enjoy the peace of mind that comes from knowing your personal information has been handled safely and responsibly.

Stormwater fee increase begins July 1
To support long term maintenance and improvement of the Town’s stormwater infrastructure, Oro Valley Town Council recently approved a three-year phased increase to the Stormwater Utility fee. The fee adjustment, which is the first increase in 10 years, will also help ensure continued compliance with regional, state and federal requirements. At full implementation, the monthly rate will increase from $4.50 per Equivalent Residential Unit (ERU) to $6.50 per ERU; however, the phased approach means residents can expect to see a gradual increase of approximately 67 cents for each of the next three years, beginning July 1, 2026.
Improvements at the OV Community & Recreation Center
Shop Oro Valley!
There’s a lot happening at the Oro Valley Community & Recreation Center! This popular facility is a hub for aquatics, fitness, adult education, art classes, golf, dining, pickleball, tennis, kids’ camps and so much more. As part of the Town’s ongoing efforts to maintain and improve public facilities for residents and visitors alike, unused space in the men’s locker room was recently converted into two accessible family restrooms with exterior access to better serve guests using outdoor spaces.
Additionally, the Town is currently in the process of a multi-month parking lot resurfacing project to improve the lot’s condition, safety and accessibility for everyone who visits the facility. We anticipate that project to wrap up by midJune. In the meantime, portions of the lot may be unavailable for parking during construction, so please consider things like carpooling, visiting at off-peak times, or parking at Town Hall.
We understand that construction projects can be a temporary inconvenience, so THANK YOU Oro Valley for your patience as we work to improve our facilities!
