The Town of Oro Valley has officially launched ExploreOroValley.com, a modern destination platform designed to inspire visitation and support local businesses. Tourism continues to play an important role in Oro Valley’s economy, and the launch of this site marks a major milestone in the Town’s tourism strategy. ExploreOroValley.com brings together Oro Valley’s outdoor adventure, arts and culture, dining, events, public art, wellness experiences, and accommodations into one visually immersive and easy-to-navigate resource. While the site was developed specifically for visitors, it’s also a great place for residents to discover new and exciting ways to enjoy the community they love. Monsoon safety
Monsoon season is upon us, and we need your help making sure the Town of Oro Valley stays safe and clean during the summer rainy season. If you see any water quality, pollution or flooding issues, please contact the Stormwater Utility at 520-229-4850 or pw@orovalleyaz.gov

Free sandbags for OV residents
Free sandbags will once again be available to Oro Valley residents who may need to protect areas of their homes from storm runoff. Sandbag pickup is located at Naranja Park (810 W. Naranja Drive). The exact location is an empty lot on the east side of N. Musette Drive, about 1,000 feet north of the Naranja Dr./Musette intersection. Sandbags will be available mid-June through September 30, or while supplies last. The sandbags are self-service. Please bring your own shovel and be prepared to load your own sand. Residents requiring assistance can schedule an appointment by calling 520-2294850 option 3, or by emailing pw@orovalleyaz.gov.
Parks & Recreation updates
• Disc golf is now open for the season. The Pusch Ridge Disc Golf Course (10000 N. Oracle Road) is open daily from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., May 30 through Sept. 20. Course fee is $10 per round, per person. Tee-times are available from 7 to 9:30 a.m. on Saturdays and 7 to 11 a.m. Sundays and can be booked in advance on PlayOV.com. All other tee times are first-come, first-served, and can be paid for via QR code at the first tee.
• The Community Center parking lot is finished! We are happy to report that the parking lot resurfacing work, which improved safety and accessibility for facility guests, was completed two weeks ahead of schedule. A big THANK YOU to our Community Center members, golfers and residents for their patience throughout the construction process.
Election correction!
Our apologies, OV. There was a typo in last month’s Vista so we wanted to confirm that the Primary Election will be held on Tuesday, July 21, 2026. As a reminder, Oro Valley’s elections are managed by the Pima County Recorder’s Office. For information about voter registration, early ballots, deadlines and voting locations, please visit recorder.pima.gov or call 520-724-4330.
