Help us shape the future of Oro Valley’s paths and trails The Town of Oro Valley recently launched OV Trails Connect, a Trails Master Plan process to help ensure we meet the evolving needs of our residents by strategically shaping our trails and multi-use paths into a meaningful interconnected system. Public input is a critical part of the process, with residents already providing feedback through a survey, trailside chats and a stakeholder group. To learn more about the process and how you can share your input with the Town, we invite you to visit www.OVTrailsConnect.com.

Protect your home from wildfire risks Our friends at the Golder Ranch Fire District would like to share some tips on how you can protect your home from wildfire risks: • Clear all weeds and dry vegetation around the perimeter of your home.

• Regularly remove tree trimmings, leaves and other debris that can fuel a fire.

• Keep propane tanks and other fuels in safe, clear areas away from vegetation.

• Sign up for emergency alerts.

Due to recent wildfires in California, the Golder Ranch Fire District understands that homeowners may have questions about wildfires, insurance and the fire district’s Insurance Services Office (ISO) rating. As such, GRFD has published a Homeowner’s Guide to Fire Protection and Insurance Considerations. To view the guide, click here or visit grfdaz.gov and under the Online Forms and Services tab, select “Wildfire Hazard Rating Form.”
