Can you believe it’s been a little over a year since the Town broke ground on the Naranja Park expansion project? Since the groundbreaking, the earthwork for the entire park has been completed, fields 5 and 6 are finished and ready for planting, work on the reclaimed water irrigation and field drainage system is done, and crews started work on electrical and light installation, plus other behind-the-scenes projects to make way for the upcoming construction projects! The final phase of the Naranja Park Expansion includes construction of the splash pad, pickleball courts, skate park, pump track, parking lots, restrooms, and paving the north portion of Musette Drive, which will become a second entrance into the park. Lots of exciting construction projects to look forward to! The expansion project is on schedule with an anticipated grand opening in Spring 2024.
