By the time most of you read this newsletter, the roundabout at Moore Road and La Cañada Drive will have opened. We are proud to tell you that this multi-departmental project was completed on time and on budget. The roundabout will improve traffic flow and help improve vehicle and pedestrian safety at the intersection. The Town has created an educational video to help drivers, pedestrians and bicyclists understand how to use our new roundabout. Visit the Town’s website and click the banner on the home page. Slow down to the posted speed limit as you approach the roundabout. Let vehicles already circulating go ahead. (Never merge; instead, yield to traffic.) Obey all one-way signs and watch out for pedestrians, bicyclists and emergency vehicles.

Do not leave packages or valuables on the seat of your car. If you must leave something in the car, lock it in the trunk or put it out of sight. Keep a secure hold on your purse, handbag and purchases. Do not leave them in the cart or set them on the car while opening the door or loading the vehicle.
