WE HAVE BIRTHDAYS DOWN TO A SCIENCE Orlando Science Center’s Education department offers all-inclusive party packages for all families. Birthdays at Orlando Science Center are designed to take the hassle out of planning, ordering and setting up the party, so you can fully relax and enjoy your child’s special day.

All Birthday Party Packages Include: • Free parking and admission to the Science Center for all your guests

• Large 1-topping pizzas (amount varies per package)

• 60-90 Minutes in a private, reserved birthday room (Duration varies per package)

ELEPHANT TOOTHPASTE Get ready for a foamy explosion of science with the classic Elephant Toothpaste experiment! In this activity, you’ll mix a few simple ingredients to create a rapid chemical reaction that produces a huge burst of bubbly foam—like toothpaste big enough for an elephant.

Big Fun for Little Scientists Celebrate early milestone birthdays with activities geared toward our youngest learners. Choose a theme and enjoy these fun activities. Birthday children turning 1 year old receive a complimentary smash cake. ACTIVITY

FAQ’s Days & Times Orlando Science Center hosts Birthday Parties every Saturday and Sunday except major holidays. Party Times are 10:30 am - 12:00 pm, 11:00 am - 12:30 pm, 2:00 - 3:30 pm, and 2:30 - 4:00 pm. All party guests have access to the Science Center’s exhibits and theaters during our operating hours on the day of your party.

Guest Counts Anyone in the party room during the party is counted as a guest. Guests who are Science Center Members are also included in the guest count. Guests who are under the age of 2 will not be included in the guest count. Additional Guests are $19.00 per person for any guests over the included guests for your party package. See party package guest limits on page 4.

Arrival, Check-In & Parking When your guests arrive, they will take a ticket from the entrance gate, then park. Guests should proceed to the lobby and then look for the birthday party signs. The signs will direct guests to the Club House, located on Level 1, to check-in for the birthday party and receive validation for parking. Parking validation will be given to all party guests. Guests have admission to the Orlando Science Center and can arrive before the party time. Guests should

go to the Club House on Level 1 to receive their admission wristbands and drop off any gifts or other party items.

Decorations Orlando Science Center provides and sets up decorations that correspond with your party theme, as well as paper products and tablecloths. Please note that balloons, silly string, or streamers of any type are not permitted in the Science Center and cannot be used as part of any decorations within the building.

Activities Birthday packages include hands-on STEM activities/ experiments based on the age of the birthday child and are related to the selected party theme. Any questions regarding activities can be directed to the Birthday Manager. Listed activities and demonstrations may change due to supply challenges with providers.

Exhibitions Due to the ever-changing nature of our museum, some of our exhibits (i.e. DinoDigs, Our Planet, etc.) may not be available for certain days or times. Please check our calendar for the most up to date information about our exhibits and showtimes for the day of your party at www.osc.org/calendar.

Food & Drink

Payment

You may add food items such as additional pizzas, sandwich platters, trays, and more by selecting items from our approved vendor menu. Outside food and drink is not permitted. Food allergies can be accommodated; please work with the Birthday Manager directly after making your reservation. Purchased food and beverage cannot be re-refrigerated.

A $100 non-refundable deposit is required at the time of booking. The remaining balance is due the Monday before the party date, once details are confirmed with the Birthday Manager. The Birthday family is responsible for any additional guest charges that may occur on the day of the party.

Cancellations & Late Arrivals If you need to reschedule your party, please contact Reservations at 407.514.2112 at least 2 weeks prior your party. Orlando Science Center can transfer the $100 deposit to another date if one is available, up to 2 times. Cancellations during the week of the party must be submitted to the Reservations Department or Birthday Manager no later than 12:00 pm on Monday prior to the scheduled date.

Ready to Party? To book your Birthday Party, fill out the Birthday Reservation Form online at www.osc.org/birthdays. Our Reservations Department will contact you after the form is complete. They are available at 407.514.2112 or classes@osc.org Monday through Friday from 8:00 am – 5:00 pm. Contact Reservations or the Birthday Manager with party package upgrade or downgrade requests. These requests are subject to room availability and may not be allowed outside of a two-week period prior to your party.

Cancellations/reschedules after final confirmation email has been sent on Monday before the scheduled date, or no-shows will forfeit any refund. Parties cancelled before final confirmation email has been sent will forfeit $100 non-refundable booking deposit. Late party arrivals risk a compromised time schedule. No refunds are available for late arrivals. A party will be considered cancelled if the Birthday family does not arrive within 30 minutes of the designated party time.
