We set out to increase our impact. Today, we’re reaching more patients than ever before through expanded specialty services, care available six days a week including Saturdays and Thursday evening hours designed to better serve working adults. From specialty medicine and preventative services to podiatry care, mammography screenings, dental services, and ophthalmology, we’re meeting patients where they are and removing barriers to care. Yet our work is far from finished. With the capacity to serve even more patients, we’re focused on ensuring every uninsured adult who needs us knows where to turn for trusted, comprehensive care.

HOFMANN FAMILY FOUNDATION From the very beginning, the Hofmann Family Foundation has been a dedicated partner in the Order of Malta Clinic’s mission to provide free healthcare to uninsured adults. Their enduring support has helped the Clinic grow from a small volunteer-led effort into a comprehensive healthcare resource serving patients throughout Northern California. Guided by a spirit of generosity and a commitment to improving lives, the Foundation has played an important role in expanding access to care and creating healthier communities. We are proud to honor the Hofmann Family Foundation for its unwavering partnership and the extraordinary difference it has made over the years.

KENNETH AND KATHLEEN RYAN, KM, DM Eighteen years ago, when the Order of Malta Clinic needed support, Ken and Kathleen Ryan responded with a simple question: “Where do you need us?” Since then, they have remained devoted champions of the Clinic, attending the very first Champions Gala in 2009 and working tirelessly behind the scenes to help make it the special event it is today. Their generosity, enthusiasm, and enduring friendship have played an important role in advancing the Clinic’s mission and strengthening its community of supporters. It is our honor to recognize Kathleen and Ken Ryan with the 2026 Spirit of Friendship Award for their remarkable dedication and years of faithful service.
