Some of the Orbea RS electric components on the Rise, Kemen and Urrun models have undergone changes between the model years in order to ensure their compatibility with the various Shimano EP600 RS, EP800 RS and EP801 RS systems. In order to guarantee correct functionality of the electric system, all of the indicated components should correspond to the same generation. Verify that the information in the table below corresponds to your model.
Algunos componentes eléctricos Orbea RS de los modelos Rise, Kemen y Urrun han sufrido cambios en las diferentes gamas para asegurar su compatibilidad con los sistemas Shimano EP600 RS, EP800 RS y EP801 RS. Para asegurar un correcto funcionamiento del sistema eléctrico, todos los componentes indicados deben corresponder a la misma generación. Certains composants électriques Orbea RS des modèles Rise, Kemen et Urrun ont été sujets à des modifications sur les différentes gammes afin d’assurer leur compatibilité avec les systèmes EP600 RS, EP800 RS et EP801 RS. Afin d’assurer le bon fonctionnement du système électrique, tous les composants indiqués doivent correspondre à la même génération. Vous pourrez identifier les composants qui correspondent au modèle de votre vélo à l’aide du tableau suivant.
Alcuni componenti elettrici Orbea RS dei modelli Rise, Kemen e Urrun sono stati modificati nelle diverse gamme per assicurare la loro compatibilità coi sistemi Shimano EP600RS, E9800RS e EP801RS. Per garantire il corretto funzionamento dell’impianto elettrico tutti i componenti elencati devono essere della stessa generazione. * Although the Gen1 Range Extender will power the EP801/EP600 motor on bikes with a Gen2 electrical system, the Smart Charger Gen2 could cause a gradual self-discharge of the RE by remaining connected after reaching full charge. We always recommend using components of the same generation.
* A unque el Range Extender Gen1 alimentará el motor EP801/EP600 en bicicletas con sistema eléctrico Gen2, el cargador Smart Charger Gen2 podría provocar una autodescarga paulatina del RE al mantenerse conectado tras haber alcanzado la carga completa. Siempre recomendamos utilizar componentes de la misma generación.
* B ien que le Range Extender Gen1 puisse alimenter le moteur EP801/EP600 sur les vélos équipés d’un système électrique Gen2, le Smart Charger Gen2 pourrait provoquer une autodécharge progressive du RE en restant connecté après avoir atteint la charge complète. Nous recommandons toujours d’utiliser des composants de la même génération.
* N onostante il Range Extender Gen1 sia in grado di alimentare il motore EP801/EP600 su biciclette con impianto elettrico Gen2, il caricabatterie Smart Charger Gen2 potrebbe causare un’autoscarica graduale del RE rimanendo collegato dopo aver raggiunto la carica completa. Consigliamo sempre di utilizzare componenti della stessa generazione.
* O bwohl der Gen1- Range Extender den EP801/EP600-Motor auf Fahrrädern mit Gen2-Elektrik antreibt, empfehlen wir immer die Verwendung von Komponenten derselben Generation. Der Smart Charger Gen2 könnte eine allmähliche Selbstentladung des RE verursachen, wenn dieser nach Erreichen der vollen Ladung angeschlossen bleibt.
** Aunque el Range Extender Gen2 alimentará el motor EP800 en bicicletas con sistema Gen1, la luz led del cargador Smart Charger Gen1 parpadeará una vez alcance la carga completa (En lugar de permanecer encendida). Siempre recomendamos utilizar componentes de la misma generación.

** Nonostante il Range Extender Gen2 sia in grado di alimentare il motore EP800 su biciclette con impianto elettrico Gen1, la spia LED del caricatore Smart Charger Gen1 lampeggia una volta raggiunta la carica completa (invece di rimanere accesa). Consigliamo sempre di utilizzare componenti della stessa generazione.
** Obwohl der Gen2- Range Extender den EP800-Motor auf Fahrrädern mit Gen1-Elektrik antreibt, empfehlen wir immer die Verwendung von Komponenten derselben Generation. Die LED-Leuchte am Smart Charger Gen1 beginnt zu blinken, sobald die volle Ladung erreicht ist (anstatt weiter permanent zu leuchten).
** Although the Gen2 Range Extender will power the EP800 motor on bikes with a Gen1 electrical system, the LED light on the Smart Charger Gen1 charger will blink once it reaches full charge (instead of staying on). We always recommend using components of the same generation.
