We understand how data collection can help improve your performance as well, and we realize that becoming competitive is about measuring and taking advantage of the smallest details. There is no better tool for optimizing training than a power meter.
WATT IS POWER? At the most basic level, power equals force multiplied by distance, divided by time, and is measured in watts (like your light bulb used to be before lumens came along).

FORCE X DISTANCE TIME
In cycling terms it´s the energy required to move the rider and bike over a certain distance. Roughly, the more force a cyclist generates in a shorter time, the greater the power exerted and distance traveled. Strain gauges within a power meter measure force via what is termed a "balanced electrical circuit."

THE ULTIMATE IN COMPATIBILITY
The power2max Type S combined with the FSA K-Force Light BB386EVO crank makes an extremely light and stiff package. In 110 BCD the power meter plus crankarms weighs 576 grams and in the standard 130 BCD version the weight is 600 grams. The carbon arms are finished in an elegant grey on black design with a 30mm aluminum axle.
The Type S FSA BB386EVO power meter is the first choice for riders with oversized BB shells. All BB86 and BB386EVO bikes are compatible with the power2max Type S. We have achieved this by moving the power meter outside the bottom bracket area without affecting the chain line or Q-Factor. The Type S FSA K-Force Light BB386EVO power meter can also be installed on BSA, BB30, BBRight and PF30 frames, making it one of the most future-proof designs on the market.
