School Administration letter
2025-2026
Dear Lancer Baseball Families and Supporters,
We’re grateful you’re part of the Orange Lutheran community and want to thank you for your continued support of our student-athletes, coaches, and programs. At Orange Lutheran, baseball isn’t just a game — it’s an extension of our mission to help students internalize the Gospel message of salvation in Christ Jesus and to grow into the men God has called them to be.
Representing the red, white, and gold on the baseball field is both a privilege and a responsibility. It requires commitment, discipline, and sacrifice, not only from our players but also from families, coaches, and supporters who walk alongside them. We are proud of the way our student-athletes pursue excellence, on and off the field, and we’re especially grateful for Coach RJ Farrell and his staff, who faithfully lead this program with purpose, integrity, and a heart for discipleship.
Lancer Baseball is part of something much bigger. Orange Lutheran is home to nearly 1000 athletes and 27 athletic programs, and we are blessed to compete in the Trinity League, one of the most competitive high school leagues in the nation. Our student-athletes regularly earn recognition at the local, state, and national levels, with many going on to compete in college and beyond. But more importantly, they leave here ready to lead with character, humility, and faith.
Since 1973, the lord has continued to bless Orange Lutheran in powerful ways. As we step into a new season, we remain grounded in our mission, united in tradition, and look forward to what lies ahead. Thank you for being part of the Lancer Community. We are glad you are here.
Go Lancers!

Welcome to the Orange Lutheran Baseball Digital Media Guide!
It is an honor to represent this program and the young men who wear the Lancer uniform. Orange Lutheran Baseball is built on a standard — one that demands excellence in preparation, accountability in daily work, and humility in how we compete. Our mission is to develop competitors who are committed to growth on the field, in the classroom, and in life, while remaining rooted in faith and purpose. Baseball is our classroom for teaching responsibility, resilience, leadership, and trust — lessons that extend far beyond the game.
Our senior class has chosen Proverbs 16:3 as their verse for this season: “Commit to the Lord whatever you do, and He will establish your plans.”
That verse reflects who we strive to be. We believe commitment comes before clarity. When our players commit to their preparation, serve their teammates, and honor God in how they work and compete, the results take care of themselves. Success is built through daily discipline, obedience, and belief.
The 2026 season will challenge us. Our schedule is among the most demanding in the country, and that is intentional. We welcome competition because it reveals character and strengthens unity.
This program does not succeed alone. We are grateful for the support of our families, alumni, school administration, and the greater Lancer community. Your belief allows our athletes to pursue excellence with confidence and purpose.
Thank you for being part of the Orange Lutheran Baseball family. We look forward to competing together this season — committed, united, and driven by something greater than ourselves.

2026 Season Preview
The 2026 season marks another step forward for Orange Lutheran Baseball as the Lancers enter the year with a veteran core, elite depth, and a schedule that will test them against the best programs in the country. Coming off a strong 2025 campaign, this group returns hungry, focused, and committed to building on the standard that has been set.
Offensively, the Lancers are built around athleticism, versatility, and lineup depth. This is a group capable of applying pressure in multiple ways—controlling the barrel, extending at-bats, and capitalizing on opportunities throughout the lineup. Experience at key positions provides stability and allows the offense to operate with consistency and purpose.
On the mound, Orange Lutheran expects to be strong once again. The pitching staff features frontline arms with experience in big games, complemented by quality depth that allows flexibility throughout the season. The emphasis remains on strike-throwing, pitchability, and trusting the defense behind them.
Defensively, the Lancers pride themselves on consistency, athletic range, and attention to detail. With returning leaders anchoring the field, the expectation is to play clean, efficient baseball that supports both the pitching staff and offensive approach.
The 2026 schedule is among the most challenging in the nation, highlighted by participation in the Boras Classic and the National High School Invitational, along with a demanding slate of league and non-league matchups designed to prepare the Lancers for postseason play.
Above all, this season is about more than wins and losses. The Lancers remain committed to developing young men of character—rooted in faith, driven to compete, and united by a greater purpose.

Weekly Update
Lancer Baseball Family,
We hope everyone had a blessed Easter weekend. As we celebrate the resurrection, we are reminded of the power of renewal, hope, and purpose—values that continue to guide our program both on and off the field.
The Lancers went 1-2 this past week against St. John Bosco, closing the series on a high note with a hard-fought 5-4 victory in the finale.
This week presents another elite challenge as Orange Lutheran competes in the Boras Classic. The Lancers will open tournament play on Tuesday at 9:00 AM against Fountain Valley at JSerra High School.
The stretch of baseball this club is in right now continues to test them against some of the best teams in the country. Each opportunity is preparing this group for what lies ahead as the season progresses.
We look forward to continued growth and competition—come out and support your Lancers.
