As we step into a new season together, I’ve been reflecting on how much life can change when we stop trying to control every moment and allow ourselves to move with what is unfolding. Lately, life has looked very different for me. I’m back to being a school mum, spending hours driving, doing homework, listening to stories and watching my girls grow into who they are becoming. My working hours have reduced almost overnight, which would once have terrified the workaholic in me. Yet, strangely, I’m loving it. It has reminded me that growth doesn’t always look like doing more. Sometimes it looks like creating space. Sometimes success is having a business that continues to hold you while you choose to be present for the moments that can never be repeated. Behind the scenes, OracleME is also growing and evolving. We’re welcoming new voices, creating meaningful collaborations and preparing for another incredible year of sharing ancient wisdom, modern truth and the work of people who feel deeply called to serve. This issue is filled with stories, insights and guidance from contributors who understand that transformation isn’t always comfortable, but it is often where we meet the most honest version of ourselves. As you move through these pages, I hope you find something that speaks directly to where you are. A reminder, a moment of clarity or perhaps the gentle nudge you’ve been waiting for. Thank you for continuing to read, support and grow alongside us. OracleME has always been more than a magazine. It is a community, and I’m so grateful you’re part of it.

Spirit-Bumps

When Your Body Says, “Pay Attention”

STORY MEG EVANS-BLAIR

I

call them my Spirit-Bumps. I’ve experienced them for as long as I can remember — during psychic and medium readings, while receiving intuitive information, and sometimes in an otherwise ordinary conversation. Suddenly, there they are. A wave of goosebumps travelling across my arms or body. For me, they’ve become part of my intuitive guidance system. It’s as though my body is saying: “Pay attention. There’s something here.” Most of us associate goosebumps with being cold. Tiny muscles attached to our hair follicles, called the arrector pili, contract and cause the hairs to stand. But cold isn’t the only trigger. Strong emotion, fear, awe, music and deeply moving experiences can also produce chills and goosebumps. Researchers sometimes use the term frisson to describe the sudden chills or tingling accompanying powerful emotional experiences. Neuroscience is also revealing what happens within the brain during these moments. Studies of emotionally

induced chills have identified activity across areas involved in emotion, reward, attention and sensory processing, with evidence of coordinated brain activity during powerful emotional experiences. Something can affect us so profoundly that our body physically responds to its significance. Recently, during a mediumship reading, I experienced a beautiful example. I was sharing information that I felt was coming through from one of my sitter’s loved ones in Spirit when something happened. We both got Spirit-Bumps at exactly the same moment. It was visceral. Neither of us was expecting it. We simply reacted — two people experiencing the same physical sensation at the same moment as personally significant information was being shared. Can science prove that her loved one in Spirit caused our goosebumps? No. And I don’t need it to. Science might explore that moment through emotion, interpersonal connection, the autonomic nervous system and the extraordinary ways humans respond to meaningful information. As a medium, I experience it through another lens. For me, it was recognition. It was that familiar bodily signal I’ve experienced repeatedly throughout my work saying: “Yes. Pay attention to this.” That’s why I don’t consider every goosebump evidence of Spirit. If I’m standing outside on a freezing winter morning, I’m not going to assume Grandma has arrived because the hairs on my arms are standing up! Context matters. Discernment matters. And patterns matter. Over many years, I’ve learnt to notice when my SpiritBumps happen. What was I saying? What had I received intuitively? Did they arrive before or after my sitter confirmed the information? Perhaps this is one of the most overlooked aspects of developing intuition. We spend so much time trying to hear intuition that we forget to notice how it feels. Your body is constantly receiving and responding to information. That doesn’t make every bodily sensation psychic communication, but we can become curious about sensations that consistently accompany meaningful moments. Science helps me understand the neurological and physiological processes involved in chills. My mediumship provides another framework for understanding what some of those moments mean to me. I don’t need one to cancel out the other. Because sometimes, before my conscious mind has made sense of what I’ve received, my body has already raised its hand. Or more accurately… every little hair on it. The courage to do the

inner work

Why looking within isn’t about fixing who you are — it’s about freeing yourself to live as who you already are.

STORY KERRYN SLATER

S

ome of the deepest inner work of my life has happened during seasons that brought me face-to-face with grief, loss, old wounds, beliefs and parts of myself I could no longer avoid. There was nothing particularly gentle or pretty about it. And perhaps that is one of the misconceptions we need to release about healing and spiritual growth. Being spiritually aware does not exempt us from being human. We can meditate, develop our intuition, understand energy, work as healers, coaches or practitioners — and still have unconscious wounds, fears, beliefs and patterns influencing the way we live. The inner work isn’t about fixing ourselves. It’s about having the courage to face what may be keeping us from living freely as ourselves. Because the things we avoid within us don’t simply disappear. They can become the unseen forces shaping our relationships, reactions, boundaries, choices and beliefs about what we deserve. We cannot consciously choose what we are unwilling to consciously see. For me, doing the inner work has meant being willing to turn towards discomfort rather than automatically burying it. To become curious about what is arising. To ask, “What is this here to show me?” Sometimes I have been able to navigate that myself. At other times, I have sought support from an appropriately qualified psychologist and trusted healing practitioners. I believe deeply in our own inner wisdom and authority. But inner authority does not mean doing everything alone. Your answers live within you. But you don’t have to find them alone. Sometimes we need someone skilled and trustworthy to create enough safety, hold sacred space and offer perspective while we find our own way through. Someone to hold the lantern — without taking the path from us. Seeking support doesn’t mean surrendering our authority. Sometimes it is one of the greatest acts of self-trust. The inner work can be messy, uncomfortable, vulnerable and raw. Spirituality shouldn’t require us to sanitise suffering or pretend that difficult experiences don’t affect us. We can trust the Divine and still grieve. We can hold space for others and still need someone to hold space for us. We can be wise and still encounter something that brings us to our knees.

Those things are not contradictions. They are part of being human. Perhaps our evolution isn’t measured by how unaffected we become, but by our willingness to meet ourselves honestly when life reveals something that needs our attention. Doing the inner work isn’t evidence that you haven’t evolved. The willingness to continue doing it may be one of the clearest signs that you have. Because ultimately, the inner work isn’t about becoming someone new. It’s about courageously releasing what keeps you from living freely as the woman you already are. Magic of the Crystal Ball: More Than a Glimpse into the Future

STORY KERRY SEES

T

here is something undeniably captivating about a crystal ball. For centuries, the image of a psychic gazing into a crystal sphere has represented mystery, intuition and the ability to see beyond what is immediately in front of us. It is probably one of the most recognisable symbols of psychic work, yet crystal ball reading is often very different from the dramatic version we see in movies. Known as scrying, working with a crystal ball is an ancient form of divination. Rather than the ball simply revealing a perfectly clear picture of the future, it can be used as a focal point to quieten the conscious mind and allow intuitive information to come forward. When we spend our days thinking, analysing, planning and questioning, it can be difficult to hear the quieter voice of intuition. Scrying creates an opportunity to soften that mental noise. What Does a Reader Actually See? People often imagine tiny scenes appearing inside the crystal ball like a television screen. While some readers may

experience vivid imagery; information can arrive in many different ways. A reader might notice shapes, colours or movement within the crystal. They may receive an image in their mind, suddenly know something without understanding how they know it, hear a word or phrase internally, or experience a feeling or physical sensation. The crystal becomes a bridge between the conscious mind and intuition. This is also why two readers can use a crystal ball completely differently. Psychic ability is incredibly individual. There isn’t one correct way to receive information, and learning to recognise your own intuitive language is part of the experience. Can a Crystal Ball Predict the Future? This is where crystal ball work becomes particularly interesting. The future isn’t necessarily one fixed destination waiting for us. We are constantly making choices, responding to situations and changing direction. A reading may reveal the energy surrounding a situation, potential outcomes or the direction something appears to be moving in at that moment. That doesn’t mean you are powerless to change it. One of the most valuable parts of intuitive work isn’t simply being told what is going to happen. It can be receiving another perspective, recognising something you haven’t previously considered or becoming aware of possibilities that allow you to make more conscious choices about what happens next. Choosing Your Own Crystal Ball Crystal balls can be created from clear quartz, amethyst, obsidian and many other crystals. There are also beautiful glass spheres specifically designed for scrying. You don’t necessarily need the biggest or most expensive one you can find. Connection matters more. If you are choosing one for yourself, notice which sphere naturally draws your attention. Hold it if you can. Look into it. Notice how you feel around it. Sometimes we are drawn to something before we consciously understand why. Try Scrying for Yourself You don’t have to be a professional psychic to experiment with a crystal ball. Sit somewhere quiet with soft lighting and place your crystal ball in front of you. Take several slow breaths and allow yourself to settle. Rather than staring intensely into the crystal, soften your gaze. Most importantly, don’t try to force yourself to see something. Simply notice. Colours, shadows, shapes, images or unexpected thoughts may begin to emerge. Allow them to come without immediately analysing whether they are ‘real’ or whether you are doing it correctly. Like most intuitive practices, trust develops with experience. The Real Magic Perhaps that is the real magic of the crystal ball. It isn’t simply about looking into a sphere and asking it to reveal the future. Sometimes it is about becoming quiet enough to see what your intuition has been trying to show you all along. www.facebook.com/kerrysees.com.au

What is Nervous System Regulation and

Why Does it Matter? STORY MELISSA PARIS

B

efore we can understand intuition, spiritual connection and our inner guidance, it is important to understand something much closer to home: our nervous system. Our nervous system is constantly receiving information from our body and environment, assessing whether we are safe and preparing us to respond. It doesn’t simply switch between ‘calm’ and ‘stressed’. It moves through different states depending on what we are experiencing and how safe or threatened we feel. Nervous system regulation is our ability to move through these states and return to a sense of safety, balance and presence after stress or activation. A regulated nervous system doesn’t mean that you never experience anxiety, anger, sadness or overwhelm. Life naturally activates us. Regulation means we can experience those emotions without becoming completely consumed by them and eventually return to a calmer state.

What Causes Dysregulation? Sometimes the cause is obvious: trauma, grief, conflict, major life changes or frightening experiences. But dysregulation can also develop gradually through chronic stress, relationship difficulties, emotional pressure, lack of sleep, exhaustion, illness, overstimulation and constantly feeling responsible for everyone around us. When stress continues without enough opportunity for recovery, the body can begin behaving as though it needs to remain prepared for the next threat. This can create a fight-or-flight state. You may notice racing thoughts, irritability, muscle tension, restlessness, difficulty sleeping, a racing heart, emotional reactivity or constantly scanning your surroundings for something that might go wrong. Others may experience the opposite response: feeling exhausted, disconnected, numb, withdrawn or unable to find the motivation to do things they normally enjoy. Neither response means you are broken. Your nervous system is attempting to protect you. Reacting Versus Responding The difference between an unregulated and regulated nervous system can be thought of as the difference between reacting and responding. When we are dysregulated, a situation can trigger an immediate emotional or physical reaction before we’ve had the opportunity to process what is happening. When we are regulated, there is more space between the experience and our response. We can pause, breathe and observe our thoughts and feelings without immediately believing or acting upon them. That space is incredibly important. It is also where our intuition can become easier to recognise. Where Intuition Comes In When the nervous system is constantly focused on survival, our attention naturally turns towards threats, problems and uncertainty.

Our internal world becomes noisy. Fear can become difficult to distinguish from intuition, and overthinking can disguise itself as inner knowing. Regulation creates a different internal environment. As the body begins to feel safer, the mind can become quieter. We become more present, more aware of our body and more capable of noticing subtle thoughts, feelings and sensations. This doesn’t mean regulation magically opens a supernatural channel. Rather, it gives us the clarity and discernment to notice what is happening within us without immediately being overwhelmed by fear or emotional urgency. For anyone exploring intuition or spirituality, nervous system regulation can therefore become a powerful foundation. Before we seek answers outside ourselves, perhaps we can first create safety within ourselves. Regulate the body. Quiet the mind. Become present. Then listen. Because sometimes the first step towards hearing your intuition isn’t learning how to receive more. It is learning how to create enough inner stillness to recognise what is already there. www.facebook.com/mysticsoulvisionspsychicmedium

AromaStoic Living Living in the Present Moment sometimes the body must be gently invited into it. Sensory awareness offers us a doorway.

he mind has a peculiar habit: it rarely stays where the body is. It drifts forward into imagined futures or backward into reconstructed pasts. We rehearse conversations that have not happened. We replay moments that cannot be changed. In doing so, we quietly abandon the only place life is actually occurring — the present. The Stoics understood that much of our suffering is anticipatory. Seneca observed that fear of what might happen can sometimes wound us more deeply than what actually does: “He suffers more than is necessary, who suffers before it is necessary.” — Seneca

Grounding Presence Through Aroma Create a simple aromatic blend by placing a drop of each of the following on your palms: • dōTERRA AromaTouch® Massage Blend — to encourage relaxation and help the body release tension • dōTERRA Frankincense — to evoke a sense of grounding, perspective and inner wisdom • dōTERRA Wild Orange — to inspire joy, optimism and gratitude Gently rub the blend between your palms, bring them towards your nose and take a slow, intentional breath. As you inhale, say: “This moment is where my life unfolds.” With repetition, this small practice can become a sensory anchor — a familiar aromatic signal that calls your attention back to the here and now.

By anchoring our attention in the present moment, we interrupt this unhealthy cycle of borrowed pain. Presence is not a denial of the future. It is an intelligent and compassionate prioritisation of where our attention belongs. We prepare when preparation is useful — but we refuse to live emotionally inside scenarios that do not yet exist. A well-lived life can unfold only in the present. Yet being truly present in a world filled with distractions can be challenging. Presence is not always achieved by command alone;

AromaStoic Presence Ritual The 5–4–3–2–1 technique is a widely used sensory grounding practice. When anxiety draws your mind into the future: 1. Inhale your aromatic blend. 2. Name five things you can see. 3. Name four things you can feel. 4. Name three things you can hear. 5. Name two things you can smell. 6. Name one thing you can taste. This simple exercise gathers scattered attention and returns it to the body. Combined with the comforting aroma of the essential oil blend, it offers a reassuring reminder:

STORY LEONIE FEATHERSTONE

T

In this moment, I am here. I am breathing. I am safe enough to notice. The Stoic Lens Roman Emperor and Stoic philosopher Marcus Aurelius repeatedly returned to the discipline of present attention. In his private reflections, he reminded himself to stop the mind from wandering without purpose, attend to what was directly before him and use each moment wisely. When we inhabit the present more fully, problems often shrink to a workable size. We respond to what is actually in front of us rather than everything our imagination projects around it. Presence is a form of courage. It asks us to meet life directly instead of negotiating with shadows. Presence is a gift. When we slow the mind and body and allow ourselves simply to be, we become more aware of the beauty and magic already unfolding around us. Your Invitation: Let’s walk this journey together! ave you ever met someone and instantly felt as though you’d known them forever? Perhaps there was an immediate connection. A sense of familiarity that simply couldn’t be explained. It felt effortless, comfortable… almost as though you were reconnecting with an old friend. Or perhaps… on the other side of the spectrum… those ‘not so welcome ones’. You know the ones I’m talking about… the boss who makes your blood boil. The friend you believed was loyal and kind, only to discover they betrayed your trust. The relationship that left your heart shattered. The person who challenged every ounce of your patience. My guess is they all left you asking the one question we all ask ourselves… “Why?” “Why did I have to meet them?” “Why did this happen to me?” Well… That, my dear, may just be a Soul Contract.

EMPOWERING YOUR FUTURE 12

www.oraclequeenpublishing.com

The truth is, the question we should be asking is… “What was I supposed to LEARN from all of this?” One of the greatest misunderstandings I see — even within the spiritual community — is what a Soul Contract actually is. Many people believe Soul Contracts only refer to the beautiful people we meet. While that certainly can be true... a Soul Contract is exactly that… a contract — an agreement made between souls before incarnation.

We can choose to learn our lessons the long way… or the wise way.

At its heart is the belief that our soul continues to grow through many lifetimes, choosing experiences and reconnecting with souls who will help us evolve. Some return as family or friends. And yes… some arrive to challenge us. That doesn’t excuse hurtful behaviour, but it reminds us that sometimes our greatest growth comes through our greatest challenges. Some lessons simply can’t be learned from a book — unfortunately… they must be lived. One of the most empowering things I have learned over the years is that although our soul may agree to experience certain lessons… we still have free will. We can fight the lesson and stumble our way through it — let’s face it, we’ve all done that at one time or another. Or… we can become spiritually self-aware enough to ask: “What do I need to learn from this connection?” Because — life doesn’t happen TO us. Life happens FOR us. When we begin to see life through that lens, our Soul Contracts take on a completely different meaning. They become opportunities for growth, wisdom and transformation. I often say to my clients… we can choose to learn our lessons the long way… or the wise way. But that every person we meet has the potential to teach us something. Affirmation: “I trust that every person who enters my life brings an opportunity for growth. I release resentment, embrace wisdom and honour the journey my soul has chosen.” Join me next issue as we journey into the fascinating world of Past Lives, soul memories and the clues your own life may already be revealing. Until then… trust your journey, trust your soul. Missy www.MissyRivers.com

COVER STORY

The

spiritworld

Some people discover their calling. Melissa Paris was born connected to hers. A psychic medium, healer and spiritual mentor, Melissa has spent her life seeing, hearing and feeling Spirit. But it was the loss of her mother that transformed her natural sensitivity into a deeper purpose: helping others find comfort, connection and the reassurance that love continues beyond death. INTERVIEW BY OracleME 1. Melissa, take us back to the beginning. When did you first realise you could communicate with Spirit, and what happened that made you know this was more than intuition or imagination? I have been able to see, hear and feel Spirit from a very young age. It’s difficult to remember exactly when it began because it always felt like it was simply part of my world. As a child, though, I didn’t understand what was happening, and at times it genuinely frightened me. I would hear voices communicating with me, see things I couldn’t explain and experience things that nobody else seemed to notice. I would also feel Spirit physically through chills running through my body, unexplained sensations and, at times, an overwhelming feeling that I was being followed or that someone was present. Alongside this, I would often just ‘know’ things without understanding how I knew them. There was no logical explanation for some of the information or feelings I received. It wasn’t until later in life, particularly after my mum passed away, that I began to explore and exercise these abilities more consciously. That experience became a turning point for me. The more I opened myself up to my gifts, the more I began to recognise patterns and experiences that couldn’t simply be explained away as imagination or coincidence. That was when I started to understand that what I had experienced throughout my childhood was something much deeper, a connection with Spirit that had always been there. 2. Was there a defining moment when you stopped questioning your psychic and mediumistic abilities and fully accepted that this was part of your purpose? There was a gradual unfolding for me rather than one single defining moment. One of the experiences that really helped me recognise this as part of my purpose was studying numerology. When I discovered that I was both a Life Path 7 and a Destiny Number 7, it resonated deeply with me. The number 7 is strongly associated with introspection, spirituality, intuition and seeking deeper understanding. Seeing those numbers reflected in my own path felt like confirmation that I was exactly where I was meant to be.

I also began to stop questioning my psychic and mediumistic abilities when I started receiving validation from others about the information I was receiving. When details, messages and impressions I had no way of knowing were confirmed as accurate, it helped me trust myself rather than constantly question whether I was imagining things or simply being intuitive. With each experience, my confidence and belief grew. I began to understand that I wasn’t just experiencing random moments of intuition. I was developing a genuine connection with Spirit. Eventually, I stopped looking for reasons to doubt what I was experiencing and started embracing it as an important part of who I am and the purpose I am here to fulfil. 3. Your work brings you into contact with people during some of their most emotional and vulnerable moments. What has mediumship taught you about life, death, grief and what may exist beyond the physical world? Mediumship has taught me that life, death and grief are deeply connected, and that love doesn’t simply disappear when someone passes away. Sitting with people during some of the most painful moments of their lives has shown me just how powerful the bond between people can be. Grief is incredibly personal, and there is no right or wrong way to experience it. What I have learned through my work is that people often don’t necessarily need answers. Sometimes they simply need reassurance, comfort and the feeling that they are not alone. Mediumship has also taught me to appreciate life more deeply. We can become so caught up in everyday worries that we forget how precious our time with the people we love really is. Losing someone can completely change our perspective on what matters. For me, the experiences I have had through mediumship have strengthened my belief that there is more to existence than what we can physically see. Whether it is through a message, a feeling, a familiar sign or an unexpected sense of presence, I believe connection can continue beyond physical life. Ultimately, mediumship has taught me that although physical life changes, love and connection can leave an imprint that continues far beyond death. OracleME Magazine Oct-Dec 2026

COVER STORY

Ultimately, I believe Spirit communication is deeply personal. It is about learning to recognise what resonates within you while remaining grounded, open and discerning.

4. Of all the messages or experiences you’ve encountered through your work, is there one that profoundly changed you personally or transformed the way you understand Spirit? There have been several experiences that have profoundly changed the way I understand Spirit, but one in particular has stayed with me. One experience that profoundly changed me personally, and deeply affected my client, was when her brother came through during a reading. He had died by suicide, and because of her faith, she had carried an enormous amount of fear and guilt, believing that he may have been condemned to hell. During the reading, I received a very clear message from him that he had made it to Heaven. When I shared this with her, she broke down in tears. It was an incredibly emotional moment because I could see the weight she had been carrying and the profound sense of relief and comfort that the message brought her. That experience taught me not to place limitations on what Spirit may be able to communicate, particularly around death and beliefs about what happens afterwards. It also reminded me how important compassion is when working with people who are grieving. Another experience that stayed with me was receiving glimpses of what I perceived as Heaven during a reading and hearing the name Allah. Experiences like these have strengthened my belief that Spirit can communicate in ways that transcend our physical world, culture and individual understanding. 5. Many people experience signs, synchronicities, dreams or an unexplained sense that a loved one is near. How can someone begin recognising the difference between an ordinary coincidence and what they feel may be communication from Spirit? I believe recognising signs from Spirit begins with becoming more aware of your own intuition and learning to trust what you feel rather than immediately dismissing it as coincidence. Signs can be very personal and may appear differently for everyone. They might come through dreams, songs, repeating numbers, familiar scents, unexpected memories, objects, animals or a strong feeling that a loved one is nearby. For me, one of the biggest differences is the feeling that accompanies the experience. A genuine spiritual experience can often feel very different from something you consciously create or look for. There can be a sense of peace, recognition, warmth or an undeniable knowing that is difficult to explain logically. 16

www.oraclequeenpublishing.com

I also encourage people not to become so focused on looking for signs that they feel they need to find meaning in everything. Sometimes a coincidence is simply a coincidence. The key is to notice patterns without forcing them. Keeping a journal can be helpful. Write down dreams, unusual experiences, feelings and synchronicities as they happen rather than trying to interpret them immediately. Over time, patterns may become clearer. Ultimately, I believe Spirit communication is deeply personal. It is about learning to recognise what resonates within you while remaining grounded, open and discerning. 6. Being highly intuitive can be both a gift and a responsibility. How do you protect your own energy, maintain boundaries and stay grounded while working so closely with the unseen? Being highly intuitive is something I see as both a gift and a responsibility, which is why protecting my own energy and maintaining healthy boundaries is extremely important to me. I have my own personal daily spiritual routine where I call in protection and consciously prepare myself before connecting with Spirit. This helps me create a clear energetic boundary between myself, my personal life and the work I do with others. I also make sure I take time to disconnect after readings. I believe it is important not to carry other people’s emotions, grief or experiences with you once the reading has finished. Grounding myself, spending time in nature, being around the people I love and simply having quiet time helps me return to my own energy. Learning to say no and recognising when I need space has also been an important part of my journey. Being intuitive doesn’t mean being available to everyone all the time. For me, staying grounded is about remembering that I am a person first and a medium second. My spiritual practice supports me, but so do healthy boundaries, self-care and maintaining a balanced everyday life.

COVER STORY

7. Was there ever a period when you wanted to shut your abilities down, doubted your path or found the responsibility of being a medium difficult? What helped you move through that chapter? There was definitely a period in my life when I tried to shut my abilities down. For a long time, I was made to feel that what I was experiencing wasn’t real. I was called ‘crazy’ and told that I was mentally ill, and those experiences made me question myself deeply. I also didn’t always have positive experiences when I was younger. Some of what I experienced was frightening, and without understanding what was happening or knowing how to protect my energy, it became overwhelming. Eventually, I learned that I couldn’t simply switch this part of myself off. What helped me move through that chapter was reframing my mindset and learning to understand and work with my abilities rather than fear them. Developing spiritual practices, creating energetic protection and learning boundaries gave me a much stronger sense of control and confidence. Most importantly, I had to accept that these gifts were a part of me. Once I stopped seeing them as something I needed to suppress and began embracing them as something I was meant to use, everything changed. My journey taught me that sometimes the things we spend years trying to silence can actually be the very things that lead us towards our purpose. 8. Through Ignite & Glow, previously known as Mystic Soul Visions, you work as a Psychic Medium, Healer, Spiritual Mentor and Intuitive Coach. What transformation do you most hope people experience after working with you? Through Ignite & Glow, my greatest hope is that people leave feeling more empowered, connected and confident within themselves than when they arrived. Whether someone comes to me for a psychic mediumship reading, healing, spiritual mentoring or intuitive coaching, I want the experience to create space for them to reconnect with their own inner wisdom. I don’t believe my role is to tell someone how to live their life or make their decisions for them. Instead, I want to help people see possibilities, gain clarity and recognise the strength they already carry within themselves. For those experiencing grief, I hope my work can provide comfort, reassurance and a sense of connection. For those feeling lost or disconnected from themselves, I hope to help them find their way back to who they truly are. Ignite & Glow is ultimately about transformation, moving from feeling stuck, overwhelmed or disconnected towards feeling connected, empowered, self-aware and aligned. The transformation I most want to see is someone walking away thinking, “I am capable. I am worthy. I trust myself, and I know I can move forward.”

I believe it is important not to carry other people’s emotions, grief or experiences with you once the reading has finished.

If I can help someone reconnect with their light and realise they have the power to ignite it themselves, then I have done what I am here to do. 9. For the person reading OracleME who feels they may have intuitive or psychic abilities but is frightened, uncertain or doesn’t trust themselves yet, what would you want them to know? I would want them to know that they don’t need to be frightened of their intuition or abilities. If you are experiencing things you don’t understand, the first step is not to fear them, but to become curious about them and learn how to understand what you are experiencing. I know from my own journey how difficult it can be when people make you question yourself or tell you that what you are experiencing isn’t real. I spent years shutting my own gifts down because I was afraid and didn’t understand them. Trust doesn’t happen overnight. Start slowly. Pay attention to your intuition, your dreams, your feelings and those moments when you simply ‘know’ something without understanding why. Write your experiences down and look back over time rather than trying to find meaning in everything immediately. Most importantly, learn about grounding, protection and boundaries before trying to develop your abilities further. You should never feel pressured to open yourself up to experiences that make you uncomfortable. Your intuition is something you can learn to understand and work with at your own pace. You don’t have to have all the answers. Trust yourself, stay grounded, remain discerning and remember that your journey is uniquely yours. 10. You’re now stepping forward as an OracleME frontcover feature. What does this chapter represent for you, and what do you feel Spirit is calling you to share with the world next? Being featured on the front cover of OracleME represents so much more to me than a personal achievement. It feels like a full-circle moment, honouring the journey I have taken from being frightened and uncertain about my abilities to fully embracing them and recognising them as part of my purpose. For a long time, I questioned myself and tried to silence this part of who I am. Standing here now, sharing my story publicly, feels like reclaiming my voice and showing others that their journey doesn’t have to look like anyone else’s. I feel Spirit is calling me to expand the work I am doing through Ignite & Glow and to reach people on a much larger scale. I want to share a message of empowerment, healing, self-belief and spiritual connection while encouraging people to reconnect with their own intuition and inner strength. I also feel called to create spaces where people feel supported, understood and safe to grow, not just spiritually, but emotionally and personally. This chapter feels like the beginning of something much bigger. I don’t know exactly where the path will lead, but I have learned to trust the journey. If there is one thing I feel called to share with the world, it is this: “Don’t be afraid to embrace who you are. Your greatest transformation can begin when you stop trying to silence your own light and learn to trust yourself.” Melissa Paris is a Psychic Medium, Healer, Spiritual Mentor and Intuitive Coach. www.facebook.com/mysticsoulvisionspsychicmedium

STORY DIANA MARY

I

do not believe anyone can truly prepare themselves emotionally for loss. No words can reproduce what the experience is like when the person is gone and your own life has to keep moving around that fact. There are some things that the 5 Stages of Grief doesn’t explain. Part way through the grieving and healing, I realised that grief is bigger than missing the person who passed away. I naïvely thought that I would be the same person, same outlook, same way of moving through life, just with one enormous experience added to the history. That is not how it worked for me. I am different now. That is the part I wish people spoke about more plainly. Not because hearing it beforehand would make anyone ready. I do not think it would. But there is value in knowing that one part of loss is them and there is another part of loss — that part is you. I have been affected by what I have lived through. Some parts of me changed. Some priorities moved. Some things became clearer. Some things I once assumed about the future no longer exist. My tolerance

18

for certain nonsense is lower. I notice time differently. I make some decisions differently. That is life after a major event. “You don’t get over the grief, you learn to live with it.” I learned that the person learning to live with grief wasn’t the exact same person who existed before. Trying to measure myself against an earlier version of me gave me a target that no longer matched my life. I could remember her. I could value her. I could recognise plenty of her in me. But I could not pretend nothing had happened and expect every part of me to operate exactly as it once did. Honestly, trying to get back to the old me was very painful. And with all of my mindfulness and mindset knowledge, I knew that there had to be a way that I could learn how to live with the grief and get back to a good place. So I decided to get to know who this new person is in my life, this new person that is my life! I started to get curious about who I had become, like getting to know a new friend. Not in a dramatic ‘new me’ way. I mean ordinary things. What do I care

about now? What drains my patience faster? What am I no longer willing to put off? What do I value enough to make time for? What parts of me became stronger? What parts need a different pace? What do I want the next chapter to contain, knowing what I know now? Those questions gave me something real to work with. Missing the person may be only one part of what has changed. The version of yourself after loss deserves attention too. I can miss who and what I lost while still being interested in the person I became through it. Both can be true at the same time. Go deep before

you go high STORY ALANA BYE

I

n a world where we are so disconnected from the Earth, surrounded by concrete pathways, sky-high buildings and fewer wild spaces, you’d think the spiritual world would be focused on getting back to that connection. Instead, we often see the opposite: a growing desire to ascend, to reach higher realms, higher frequencies and higher states of consciousness, while struggling to bring what we experience there into our daily lives here on Earth. That separation can show up as an inability to stay grounded, an inability to stay out of our heads or keep our heads out of the clouds. I have always felt deeply connected to the Earth, to Mother Nature, the Great Mother. Some of my most powerful meditation journeys have taken me into her depths and, ultimately, into the depths of my own body. What I didn’t realise for a long time was how many people within spiritual communities struggle with this connection — or simply don’t realise how important it is. Many are so focused on ascending and connecting above that they neglect the very reason we are here: to have a human experience. And we have a body for a reason. Grounding and centring allow us to actually be here. To feel ourselves. To connect with others. To understand ourselves. To experience the differences between us without needing to escape them. We are designed to be deeply connected to the Earth and to each other, yet we are living in an age of separation. Separate from the Earth. Separate from each other. Separate from community. Separate from those who are different. Separate from our bodies. A deep disconnect, planet-wide. We’ve even begun trying to manufacture our way back to connection, with grounding mats and sheets offering an alternative to simply putting our bare feet on the Earth. But there is something profoundly different about actual connection. Standing barefoot in the grass isn’t just about grounding yourself energetically. It is a moment of relationship. You are touching the Earth that holds you, feeds you and sustains you. You are remembering that you are not separate from nature. You are nature. The Earth needs us as much as we need her. And I believe the spiritual world needs more grounding too. Not less ascending. Not less exploring. Not less reaching for the stars. More balance. There is an ancient idea of ‘as above, so below’ that I think we sometimes forget. We want to go higher without going deeper. But how can we truly reach our highest potential if we have neglected our foundations? The deeper our roots, the higher we can grow. Grounding isn’t the opposite of ascension. It is what gives us the capacity for it. When we are rooted in our bodies, connected to the Earth and centred within ourselves, we have somewhere to bring the wisdom we access in higher realms. Without that foundation, we can keep reaching higher and

higher while becoming increasingly disconnected from the very life we came here to experience. For those who can fly high, we also need to remember to go deep. Because what is the point of accessing profound wisdom in higher realms if we cannot embody it here? What is the point of discovering our higher selves if we cannot bring that self into our bodies, our relationships, our parenting, our communities and the way we move through the world? You might be able to reach the highest realms, but if you cannot connect with your body and embody what you have learned, how does that wisdom serve this world? Perhaps the invitation isn’t always to ascend higher. Perhaps sometimes, the most spiritual thing we can do is come back down. Into our bodies. Into the Earth. Into ourselves. And go deep. What changes

when you become a

Tarot reader?

with them. Clear time limits, an ethical scope of practice and the willingness to say, “I can’t answer that,” protect both people. Boundaries do not reduce compassion; they make it sustainable.

STORY VICKI HASPELS

L

earning Tarot may begin with card meanings, symbols and spreads, but becoming a great reader changes much more than the way you interpret a deck. Reading for others gradually changes how you understand people, responsibility and yourself. It is both a practical skill and a personal journey — one that can make you more compassionate, discerning and quietly confident. Every person who sits before you brings a life you have not lived. Their choices may be different from yours, but their fears, hopes and vulnerabilities are often deeply familiar. Listening to many stories broadens your understanding of human nature. Certainty gives way to nuance, judgment softens into curiosity and empathy grows. You begin to recognise that behaviour usually has a history, even when you cannot see it. However, empathy alone does not make someone a strong reader. Without boundaries, compassion can become emotional absorption, rescuing or exhaustion. A reader must learn how to be fully present without carrying the client’s experience away

The Tarot Coach 20

Confidence also changes as a reader develops. In the beginning, confidence may be confused with always being right, remembering every meaning or receiving immediate validation from the client. With experience, it becomes something steadier. Confidence is trusting the reading process, returning to the imagery when uncertain and allowing silence without rushing to fill it. It is being able to hear “no” without becoming defensive and calmly looking at the cards from another angle. This is also where leadership begins. Leadership in a reading is not dominance, certainty or dramatic performance. It is the ability to create a safe, structured space and remain grounded when emotions arise. A strong reader does not take control of another person’s life or tell them what they must do. They translate what they see clearly, acknowledge the limits of the reading and return choice to the person receiving it. The reader also becomes more selfaware. Personal beliefs, fears and biases can easily slip into an interpretation when they remain unexamined.

Developing as a practitioner therefore requires honest reflection: Am I reading what is present, or projecting my own experience? Am I offering insight, or seeking approval? This awareness builds integrity and helps the reader speak with clarity without imposing, guiding without controlling and caring without becoming responsible for the outcome. Teaching The Fool’s Journey Tarot Practitioner Course brought these changes into sharper focus for me. I enjoyed teaching the course immensely and was pleasantly surprised by how much I had learned through the years about becoming an ethical, confident and strong Tarot and psychic reader. The course teaches card interpretation, but its deeper work lies in confidence and leadership: helping students develop their own voice, trust disciplined intuition, maintain compassionate boundaries and understand that a great reading should empower people to see more clearly for themselves. Who are you beyond

the applause

The Leo/Aquarius Nodes and Breaking Our Addiction to Validation STORY DEB NORMAN

F

rom October through December 2026, the Leo/Aquarius nodal axis asks us to look carefully at where we seek recognition, where we perform for approval, and where we are ready to contribute something more meaningful. With the South Node travelling through Leo and the North Node through Aquarius, we are being invited to release the parts of identity that depend too heavily on applause. Leo is not the problem. It gives us creativity, courage, warmth, individuality and the confidence to be seen. The shadow appears when visibility becomes proof of worth. Many of these patterns begin much earlier than adulthood. A child who learns they are noticed when they achieve, entertain, please, perform, succeed or stay emotionally useful can quietly carry that belief forward. Later it may appear as a need for praise, reassurance, romantic attention, followers, likes, awards, recognition or constant confirmation that we matter. The nervous system often repeats what feels familiar, even when the pattern no longer serves us. If being noticed once meant safety, belonging or love, invisibility can feel strangely threatening. We may think we are simply ambitious, expressive or relationship focused, while underneath there is still a younger part asking, “Can you see me yet?” November turns the volume up. Jupiter moves across the South Node in Leo, magnifying what has become overdeveloped, while Mars follows close behind and adds action. What has been running quietly in the background may become difficult to ignore. We may overreact, compete, perform, chase validation, become frustrated when someone else receives attention, or suddenly recognise how exhausting it is to keep proving ourselves. This is where Aquarius becomes important. The North Node in Aquarius does not ask us to stop shining. It asks us to become conscious of why we shine and what we are doing with that light. Aquarius takes individual knowledge and asks how it can serve something larger. It moves us away from “Look at me” and toward “What can I contribute?” This is particularly relevant for coaches, healers, astrologers, entrepreneurs and anyone building a visible personal brand. Visibility can be powerful, but it becomes far more meaningful when it is connected to purpose rather than emotional hunger. From an epigenetic perspective, repeated emotional environments can also influence the way stress responses are expressed through the body. When approval, attention or achievement became linked with safety, the adult nervous system may continue reaching for the same cues long after the original environment has gone. Astrology does not cause that conditioning, but a transit can illuminate it, giving us

a moment to notice the behaviour, interrupt the automatic response and choose differently. By December, Jupiter begins to slow and turn retrograde in Leo, giving us another opportunity to reconsider what confidence, success and recognition genuinely mean. This cycle asks a deceptively simple question: Who are you when nobody is applauding? Your natal chart can show where the Leo/Aquarius axis plays out in your life and where these themes of visibility, validation, individuality and contribution are being activated. The goal is not to become smaller. It is to stop needing the outside world to tell you that you are enough before you allow yourself to become who you already are. Palmistry tales from a

scientist-turned-psychic STORY SARAH YIP

H

i Angels! Ever wondered what your hands say? Although I’m known for numerology, my true love is palmistry. I learned it from Dolly magazine at 12. The first time I read someone’s hand, I picked up that he was bisexual. This stunned us both, as he’d never told anyone. This convinced me that palmistry was a sacred practice, not a party trick. Our hands are the tips of our Angel wings and heart chakras. The palms reveal our life’s journey, health, chakras and future in the making. The body knows your Soul path. In my 20s, the late Manfred Zander read my hands. He told me I would leave park management, to be a spiritual teacher. I scoffed, but he was right. Guess who flew back to apologise? Yours truly. As an ex-scientist, I love collecting stories like the ones below. Please note, the lines have many meanings and can change, so it’s best to study with a group. I run workshops. • Alicia had a St Andrew’s Cross. I said, “This shows that you will save lives.” She said, “That’s good, I’m training to be a midwife.” • Kiri asked about a mark on her life line. It looked like a scar but wasn’t. I measured the age, then asked, “What happened at 38?” Tears came up and she said, “I fell pregnant after a long struggle.” We all hugged. • I’m often able to see miscarriages, kids and pets in hands. I don’t believe abortion is a sin, because I have connected parents with Spirit babies* and heard of them coming back as their next child. I met my sons telepathically before conception. *I teach on this topic. • Rachael wailed, “My life line doesn’t reach the bottom of my palm, will I die early?!” I said, “No, that’s a total myth. However, it can suggest 22

you need to strengthen your Root/base chakra and be more practical/present in your body.” • Leila had markings for gut issues. I asked if she had restricted her eating and she went pale. She had almost died from anorexia. A year later, I was diagnosed with the same thing. Perhaps Spirit was trying to warn me. Fortunately, we’re both ok now. • I saw a weird double relationship line in Boris’s hand and said he had an unusual marriage. He said he was with two sisters. Whoa. • Cherie’s pinky finger was at an odd angle. I said, “Looks like you are leaving a relationship/need space.” She said, “I signed the divorce papers today.” We high-fived. • Joe had a bendy (Hitchhiker’s) thumb. I said, “You have great people skills and can deal with chaos.” He said, “Yes! I managed hundreds of students at a university.”

• Preeti had a stiff thumb (as do I). I joked, “You are stubborn and love routine. I’m so predictable, I bring my pillow everywhere.” Preeti laughed and said, “So do I!” • Janet had a Composite Whorl thumbprint, showing counselling ability and ‘Alien’ energy. Her daughter was born 11/11. I have a page about 11:11, Starseeds and repeated numbers. Hope you’ve enjoyed this post. Come and learn palmistry, it’s such a powerful pathway to self-love, confidence and healthy relationships. I also offer readings online and in Brisbane. Understanding grief on a

spiritual level

STORY LINDA USOPE

G

rief is often an overwhelming and lonely experience. When we lose someone we love, there is no clear timeframe or simple framework that tells us how to recover. Nothing truly prepares us for the emotions that follow, and we may wonder whether we even have the strength to survive them. The people around us may want to help but have no idea what to say. Meanwhile, we can find ourselves moving through anger, sadness, fear and isolation, with each emotion arriving one after another. Some days we may feel as though we are beginning to cope, only to be pulled back into the pain again. Over the last six months, I have experienced many of these feelings. I have questioned what I know, what I feel and what I understand. I am a spiritual person, but I am also living a very human existence. Life can place many speed bumps along our journey. Losing someone we love, regardless of how they passed, is real, raw and sometimes incredibly cruel. We may find comfort in believing they are spiritually at peace and still connected with us, but we must also live with the enormous change their physical absence creates in our world. I do not believe death is the end. I believe the circle of life continues. However, knowing this spiritually does not remove the human pain of wanting to hear their voice, pick up the phone or sit down and have a cuppa with them again. Grief is commonly described through five stages: denial, anger, bargaining, depression and acceptance. These stages do not always unfold neatly or in order. We may move backwards and forwards between them, sometimes experiencing several emotions within the same day. Denial can feel like disbelief. Part of us may still expect our loved one to walk through the door or call us. We understand what has happened, yet another part of us cannot accept that we will not see them in the same physical way again. Anger can arrive through questions such as, “Why didn’t I see this coming?” or “Why did we not have more time?” We may feel angry with doctors, hospitals, circumstances, ourselves or even the person who has passed. Spiritually, we may ask why we did not know or sense what was about to happen. Bargaining often appears through our “if only” thoughts. If only we could wake up and discover this was a bad dream. If only we could have our old life back. If only we had said or done something differently. Guilt can become part of this stage, even when we did the best we could with what we knew at the time. Depression may bring feelings of emptiness, isolation and deep sadness. This is often when the permanence of the loss begins to settle into our hearts.

Acceptance does not mean we are suddenly fine or that we no longer miss the person. It means gradually learning how to carry our love and our grief together. It is allowing ourselves to accept that life has changed, while recognising that our connection has not necessarily disappeared. Our loved ones may no longer be physically present, but we can remain open to the signs that remind us they are still near. Their love does not simply leave us. It may continue in a different form, through memories, dreams, familiar songs, meaningful coincidences or quiet moments when we sense their presence. We do not need to rush our grief or pretend to be okay. Sometimes healing begins with understanding that it is okay not to be okay. We can ask for help, surrender to this new way of connection and give ourselves permission to navigate grief one moment at a time. The energy behind what you’re

manifesting

STORY LINDA WILLOW ROBERTS

A

client came to see me recently and shared something I’ve heard many times before. “I’ve done the vision board. I’ve done the affirmations. But why isn’t it working?” What the last three months of 2026 are asking is far from the usual questions that any manifestation advice will ask you. Not “What do you want?” but rather “What kind of energy are you putting into it?” The month of October begins calmly, but then quickly turns inside out. By 3 October, Venus starts her retrograde in Scorpio, and Mercury catches up on this trend in the same sign on 24 October. This sign has never been big on small talk. Its energy aims directly at attachment, trust, intimacy, money, power, fear and the patterns that drive our life without us realising it. This is why you can’t just write down the goal and

affirm it every morning while still living by some old belief patterns unconsciously feeding the whole thing anyway. Self-awareness beats positive thinking hands down in this situation. By 16 October, Pluto turns direct in Aquarius, and it’s a message for you. See how your relationship with power changes. What are you tolerating that you no longer have to? And where are you trying to control an outcome instead of taking part in its creation? The Moon is also saying the same across the quarter. October’s Libra New Moon and Taurus Full Moon ask about balance and security. November’s Scorpio New Moon and Gemini Full Moon pull out of the subconscious whatever was buried there. Sagittarius New Moon and Cancer Full Moon of December close the year by asking about your beliefs, where are you going and what makes you feel safe. But the turning point is the month of November. By 14 November, Mercury and Venus turn direct, and something in the air shifts. Just two days after this, Mars meets Jupiter in Leo, and confidence spikes. It feels great, but it can also feel overwhelming. Take a step back and see which opportunities belong to the life you build consciously. At the end of the month, Uranus will trine Pluto once more on 29 November. This is slow, collective astrology, but it leaves one rather personal question in its wake: what have you outgrown that you are still energetically maintaining? December brings us back down to earth. Saturn will go direct in Aries on 11 December. Neptune will follow suit on 13 December, as will Jupiter’s retrograde in Leo on the same day. Saturn requires responsibility. Neptune requires vision. Jupiter, now looking within instead of outwardly, requires that you grow silently rather than constantly reach for more. This is the work I do as an Energy Consultant. Not only goal setting, but seeing where the blocks, beliefs and patterns lie beneath your consciously-stated goals. Often enough you are not failing to manifest anything; your energy is simply louder than your intention. The end of 2026 is not asking you to force anything upon yourself. It is asking for more deliberate actions and choices. Recognise the pattern. Question the assumption. Accept the responsibility for where you put your energy and then take action as the you that is finally ready for the life you have been asking for. Manifestation was never only intention. It is awareness, alignment and action. Linda Willow Roberts is an Energy Consultant, ThetaHealing® Instructor and Manifestation Coach. www.LindaWillowRoberts.com.au

What if your body isn’t

failing you?

Why Healing Begins With Changing The Questions We Ask About Health STORY SARAH JANE MICHAELS

T

here was a period in my life when my heart quite literally began to fail. Following the sudden death of my only son, Aaron, I developed progressive Takotsubo Cardiomyopathy — often called broken heart syndrome. My physical heart was struggling under circumstances my whole being was attempting to survive. There was genuine dysfunction requiring medical care. Yet, as a lifelong student of health and healing, the experience confronted me with deeper questions: “What if my body wasn’t simply failing me?” “What if it was adapting to circumstances it could no longer sustainably carry?” Your story may look entirely different. Perhaps your body speaks through persistent fatigue, digestive disruption, poor sleep, anxiety, pain, hormonal changes, brain fog or a nervous system that rarely seems to settle. Eventually, many of us ask, “What is wrong with me?” But what changes when we ask a different question? The human body is not merely a collection of independent parts waiting to malfunction. It is an extraordinarily responsive biological system, continually adjusting to

nourishment, sleep, stress, relationships, environment, emotional experience and physical demands. Sometimes these adaptations serve us brilliantly. They help us respond to changing circumstances, maintain stability and survive periods of challenge. But adaptation can carry a cost. When demands become prolonged, overwhelming or incompatible with restoration, responses that once helped us cope may eventually contribute to symptoms, dysregulation or diminished capacity. This has led me to a principle that increasingly informs my work: Every symptom tells a story about adaptation before it tells a story about dysfunction. This does not mean every symptom is helpful, or that disease and pathology should simply be reframed as adaptation. Symptoms can indicate significant dysfunction and deserve appropriate investigation and professional care. Rather, this principle changes where our inquiry begins. Before asking only, “What has gone wrong?”, we can become curious about “What has happened?” What has the body been responding to? What has it been compensating for? What has it been attempting to protect, regulate or maintain? Seen through this lens, a symptom is not merely something to silence. It is also information. And information invites inquiry. Across decades of studying Ayurveda, nutrition, nervous system regulation, somatic practice and integrative health, I have repeatedly encountered the importance of context. Sleep cannot be entirely separated from stress. Digestion from nervous system state. Energy from nourishment. Emotional wellbeing from relationships, environment and meaning. Health emerges through relationship. I describe the body’s ability to regulate, adapt, repair and restore as Healing Capacity. So perhaps the next question is not simply, “What else should I try?” Perhaps it is, “What conditions does my body need in order to be better supported?” Sometimes healing begins not by doing more, but by seeing differently. Explore Your Conditions of Restoration I have created a complimentary Conditions of Restoration Self-Inquiry to help you reflect on what may currently be supporting (or constraining) your wellbeing and Healing Capacity. It is not a diagnosis or another prescriptive wellness checklist. It is an invitation to observe your health through a different lens. Because sometimes the first step towards healing is not finding another answer. It is learning to ask a better question. When the woman you’ve been

STORY DONNA DREW

T

here comes a moment in many women’s lives when they realise the life they’ve carefully created no longer feels aligned with who they are becoming. From the outside, everything may look fine. The career is established. The family is cared for. Responsibilities are being met. Yet beneath the surface, something feels different. The roles that once brought fulfilment now feel restrictive. The goals that once inspired no longer ignite the same passion. A quiet inner knowing begins to emerge, asking for something more. For many women, this can be unsettling. We often interpret these feelings as a sign that something is wrong. We wonder why we’re no longer satisfied with what once made us happy. We question our motivation, our purpose, and sometimes even ourselves. But what if this discomfort isn’t a problem to be fixed? What if it is an invitation to evolve? Life is not meant to be lived from a single identity. Throughout our lives, we move through seasons of growth, expansion, and transformation. The woman who navigated

her twenties is not the same woman who enters midlife. The version of ourselves that once felt authentic may eventually become too small for the wisdom, experience, and awareness we have gained. Yet many of us continue trying to hold onto old identities long after we have outgrown them. We stay attached to roles, expectations, achievements, and beliefs because they feel familiar. We continue doing what we’ve always done, even when our heart is calling us in a different direction. We convince ourselves that change is risky, selfish, or irresponsible. At the same time, we feel the growing tension between who we have been and who we are becoming. This tension often appears during periods of transition. Children become more independent. Careers no longer feel meaningful. Relationships change. Priorities shift. Our values evolve. We begin asking deeper questions about purpose, fulfilment, and what truly matters. While these seasons can feel uncomfortable, they are often where our greatest growth occurs. The challenge is that transformation rarely arrives with a clear roadmap. We are asked to move forward before we can see the entire path. We are invited to trust ourselves before we have proof that everything will work out. This requires courage. It requires a willingness to release old stories and outdated beliefs about who we think we should be. It asks us to honour the woman who brought us this far while making space for the woman who is waiting to emerge. Most importantly, it asks us to trust our inner wisdom. That quiet voice within often knows the next step long before our logical mind catches up. It nudges us towards greater authenticity, alignment, and fulfilment. The more we learn to listen, the more clearly our path begins to unfold. If you find yourself in a season where your old life no longer fits, know that you are not alone. You are not failing. You are not lost. You are growing. And sometimes the most powerful thing we can do is stop trying to return to who we were and allow ourselves to become who we are meant to be. Finding

her way STORY JO ROLFE

T

here are moments in a woman’s life when everything she thought she knew about herself quietly unravels. My moment arrived the day Jason passed, sudden and devastating, a loss that reshaped every part of my world. Grief has a way of stripping you bare, removing the distractions and the coping mechanisms, leaving you face to face with yourself. In those early months I moved through fog and tears, barely functioning, yet somewhere inside me a small voice kept whispering that I had a choice. I could stay held in place by survival, or I could rise. As a woman who had already walked through DV and sexual abuse, I knew I was not going back to being heavily medicated and disconnected from myself. I had fought too hard to reclaim my life. So I chose to rise again. I returned to my work as a transformational coach at The Spiritual Vibe, guiding women who were ready to change their lives, remember who they are and step into something more. Even in grief I continued supporting others, allowing each session to remind me that strength grows when you choose to show up. After four months of rising for myself, I knew I needed space to reset. I chose Bali. It had been 15 years since I had travelled and my first time flying overseas alone, yet something inside me knew I needed to step into the unfamiliar. During a sevenday group tour and six days on my own, I moved through the island in a way that stretched me and softened me. Temples scented with incense, gentle rituals, local traditions, full days that revealed what women truly need when they are navigating transition. For the first time in months, I exhaled. Returning home, I felt steadier but still tender. Eight weeks later I booked a second trip, trusting the pull without hesitation. That second trip changed everything. It was real and uncurated, filled with elephant baths, traditional recipes, unexpected invitations to ceremonies, water purification rituals and wearing traditional dress. I wandered through temples, shared meals with locals who welcomed me like family and formed new friendships that felt like home. In the quiet moments between ceremonies and conversations, the foundations of Finding Her Way Bali Experiences began to form. I realised women needed a space like this too, a place to breathe, reconnect and feel supported while navigating their own transitions. Grief is not gone, but it is softer now, and strength rises in its place. I am excited to step into this chapter by leading women through Bali, creating space for women who are ready to find their way again.

In March 2027, I am opening this experience to women who feel the pull to reset, reconnect and return to themselves. If you are standing at a crossroads, craving peace, healing, clarity or simply a moment to breathe, I invite you to join me in Bali. Come experience the rituals, the culture, the softness, the awakening that changed my life. Come find your way again. You were never meant to

do it all alone

STORY SARAH JAYD

F

or many years, doing everything alone wasn’t something I chose. It was something life required of me. As a single mum, there wasn’t always someone else to call, someone to share the responsibility with or someone waiting to step in when I was exhausted. Things still had to be done, bills still had to be paid, children still needed me and life didn’t stop simply because I felt overwhelmed. So I learnt how to carry it all. Not because I wanted to prove how strong or independent I was, but because I had to. When you live that way for long enough, doing everything yourself becomes normal. Even when life changes and support becomes available, part of you can still feel as though everything is your responsibility. You become so used to holding everything together that letting someone else help can feel unfamiliar. You might have people around you, but still find yourself managing every detail, remembering every deadline and making sure nothing falls through the cracks.

Your Expert Publishing BFF! Do you have a community you would like to showcase in a multi-author Oracle Deck or Book? Then we are the BFF you’ve been looking for! Let us do what we do best – publish – while you do what you do best: lead your tribe. www.OracleQueenPublishing.com

That isn’t really receiving support. It is managing support. As my businesses grew, I began to realise I didn’t just need people who could complete the tasks I gave them. I needed the right people around me. People who understood the bigger vision, used their initiative and genuinely cared about what we were creating together. During the deadline for this issue, I became incredibly sick. I could barely function, let alone keep up with magazine deadlines, emails and everything happening behind the scenes. Normally, I would have worried about what needed to be done, who was waiting for me and what I might be forgetting. But this time, my graphic designer, Ros, simply stepped in. She emailed everyone at deadline time, followed things up and copied me into everything. I didn’t have to explain every little detail or manage the process from bed. She knew what needed to happen and she handled it. I felt more grateful than usual because I could see how much had changed. Everything didn’t fall apart because I needed to stop. Maybe that is one of the most overlooked forms of manifestation. We often think manifestation is about calling in more money, clients or opportunities. But sometimes manifestation looks like attracting people you can trust. Sometimes it is creating enough safety within yourself to release control and allow someone else to help carry the vision. Receiving support doesn’t make us less capable. It doesn’t erase the strength it took to survive the years when we genuinely had to do it alone. It simply means we are no longer in that same chapter. OracleME is growing because it is no longer just one person carrying the vision. It is supported by an incredible team, our VIP experts, contributors, advertisers and readers. Each person brings something that I couldn’t bring alone. Collaboration doesn’t dilute the vision. When the right people are involved, it strengthens it. Perhaps this is your reminder to notice where you may still be carrying everything simply because you always have. There is strength in knowing you can stand on your own. There is also strength in recognising when you no longer have to. Maybe manifestation isn’t always about attracting another opportunity. Sometimes it is about becoming willing to receive the support that allows everything you have already created to grow. You were never meant to do it all alone. REBirthing your Sovereign Self STORY CAROLA WERTH

e are rebirthing ourselves from belief systems that are outdated and no longer aligned with the journey of our souls. Puppet Master represents the illusion that we have no control over our lives. It reflects an old, man-made system that teaches us to look outside ourselves for permission, direction and power. Yet we are each the master of our own reality. It is time to reclaim our strings and remember that no one outside us has the right to pull them. The awakening of the soul is not about remaining comfortably numb within society. It asks us to step out of our inner prisons and become aware of the thoughts, fears and beliefs that have held us captive. Imprisoned calls us to quieten overthinking, restore our self-awareness and nurture our nervous systems. Our nervous system is our Tree of Life. When we reconnect with our bodies and listen to what they need, we begin to understand their incredible ability to heal and rebalance. Our consciousness is a beautiful gift. Healing begins when we give ourselves permission to receive it. The Ghosted represents the deeply human experience of feeling lost, alone or unseen. Sometimes we disconnect from humanity because our souls need space to rebuild. Even in these moments, we are not truly alone. We are supported by loved ones on the other side, our guides and the unseen presence surrounding us. Letting go of fear also means accepting that we will outgrow certain people. It is okay to release relationships that no longer align with who we are becoming. In doing

so, we create space for new people who match our frequency and the next stage of our journey. Stolen Innocence speaks to the destruction of innocence we witness and experience in this world. Healing this wound is one of humanity’s deepest journeys. It can create an identity crisis and a fracture within the soul, leaving us feeling as though we are watching life continue without our spark. Mending the heart is like bringing the pieces of a puzzle back together. We begin by lovingly calling our soul essence home. Sit quietly and say: “I call my soul, my higher self, my guides and my angels to guide my healing. Place me upon my soul’s journey and carry me into the beautiful flow of my sovereign self. I allow myself to heal and rebalance who I am.” Sovereign Self is the final card and the destination of this journey. It is the knowing that you are unique, worthy and enough in your own eyes. We are manifestors and emotional beings, placing our energy in motion. Through self-discovery, growth, creativity and self-belief, we begin doing more of what we truly love. Love is not something we must chase. Love simply is. As we learn to love ourselves, we become able to share love freely and hold space for others who are still searching for it. Being your sovereign self means reconnecting with the spark within you, the spark that creates, heals and loves. Roots, myth and stone: Creating Celtic Spirit & Stone

STORY DANNIELLE McAULIFFE

run a business, and I homeschool my daughter. Some days those two things sit together beautifully. Other days they pull in completely opposite directions, and by the afternoon I’ve lost the thread of who I was supposed to be that day: businesswoman, teacher, mother, myself. I know I’m not the only woman who feels this. It’s the quiet hum underneath so many of our lives: the to-do list that never actually ends, the sense that if we just kept up a little better, we’d finally feel settled. The Celtic Spirit & Stone Oracle Deck grew out of that feeling, not as an escape from it, but as a way back through it. It’s a tool for the moments when the noise gets loud and what you actually need is thirty seconds of stillness and one honest question: “What do I need right now?” I’ve always been drawn to the old stories, the Celtic gods and goddesses whose myths carry a kind of blunt, earthy

wisdom that never asks you to be more spiritual or more evolved than you already are. They simply reflect what’s true. Part of that pull is personal: my family’s roots can be traced all the way back to Ireland, and there is something in me that has always reached toward that landscape and its mythology from the other side of the world. Working with these stories feels less like research and more like remembering, like I’m tracing something that was already in me. I paired each of the 45 cards in the deck with one of these figures, along with a crystal chosen to hold and amplify its energy, a key theme, and an affirmation to carry with you. It’s not decoration. Every layer of the deck exists to do one job: help you pause long enough to hear your own voice again. I also wanted the deck itself to feel like something worth slowing down for. Alongside my tarot and oracle work, I create micromacrame pieces by hand, and that same care for craftsmanship carries through into everything I create. Each card was created with care, so that holding the deck feels the way I wanted the experience to feel: grounded, unhurried, a little sacred. This deck isn’t meant for women who need someone else’s permission to have a spiritual practice, or who need to be told they’re not doing intuition ‘right’. It’s for the woman who already knows there’s wisdom in her. She’s just buried under a very full life. If that’s you, you don’t need to overhaul your morning or carve out an hour you don’t have. You need one card, one breath, and a moment to come back to yourself. That’s the whole heart of Celtic Spirit & Stone: you are one card pull away from a little more clarity than you had five minutes ago. Some days, that’s enough to change everything. The Woman I Become When I Stopped Waiting For Permission STORY MICHELLE LOVE

F

or many years, I thought I knew who I was. I was a mother, a partner, a daughter, a sister, a friend, an employee and someone who was always there for everyone else. Like so many women, I became very good at being what was needed of me, I faded into the background and somewhere along the way, I stopped asking myself a very important question: “What do I want?” My own journey has taught me that sometimes life has a way of stripping away the things we thought defined us, leaving us standing at a crossroads and wondering who we are now. For me, that crossroads became the beginning of something incredibly powerful. I realised I had spent far too much of my life waiting for permission. Permission to change. Permission to follow my intuition. Permission to want more. Permission to become someone I hadn’t yet imagined. And eventually, I realised that permission was never something I needed from anyone else. It was mine to give myself and once I did that I started to reconnect with what it is that is important to me. Today, after more than 27 years working across psychic mediumship, tarot, coaching and holistic therapies, I have come to understand that while my work may take many different forms, there is a common thread running through all of it. It is about helping people reconnect with themselves. When I read, I don’t believe the cards take away someone’s power or dictate a fixed future. Instead, they can offer another perspective, bring something hidden into awareness and help us hear the intuitive voice that can become so quiet beneath the noise of everyday life. When I coach, my role isn’t to tell someone who they should become. It is to walk beside them, ask the questions that perhaps they’ve been avoiding, and encourage them to discover their own answers. And when I work with people through holistic therapies, I don’t believe I am there to ‘heal’ them. I facilitate a space where they can reconnect with themselves, their body and their own capacity for healing. Perhaps that is what I have learned most deeply through my own journey: We are often far more powerful than we realise. Sometimes we simply become disconnected from that part of ourselves. We lose our confidence. We second-guess our intuition. We become so accustomed to putting everyone else first that we forget to ask what our own heart is saying. But it is never too late to listen again. You don’t have to know exactly where you’re going. You

don’t have to have the whole next chapter mapped out. You simply have to be willing to take the first step, even when it’s scary. I used to think starting again meant that something had gone wrong. Now I see it differently, from the healed version of me I can see that: Sometimes starting again is the moment you finally meet the woman you were always meant to become. And perhaps she has been waiting for you to stop asking for permission. Astrology FORESIGHT DEB NORMAN

ARIES

Mar 21Apr 19 This quarter asks you to look closely at how you share yourself with others without losing yourself in the process. October and early November may reopen questions around intimacy, trust, money, commitment and emotional reciprocity. Old relationship patterns can surface, not necessarily to repeat, but to show you what still needs awareness. Jupiter keeps creativity, confidence and pleasure alive, while Saturn and Neptune continue reshaping your identity from the inside out. By December, the fog begins to lift. You are being asked to build a stronger version of yourself, one that can love deeply without abandoning its needs or direction.

CANCER Jun 22Jul 22

This quarter brings your attention back to joy, creativity, love and what genuinely makes you feel alive. October and early November may reopen romantic themes, family dynamics or questions around belonging, giving you an opportunity to understand the pattern beneath them. Jupiter continues strengthening self-worth and financial confidence, while Saturn and Neptune ask you to become more deliberate about career direction and the future you are building. December brings clarity around responsibility and purpose. Stop measuring success only by what you provide for everyone else. Your happiness, talents and desires deserve a place in the life you are creating. 36

The stars unveil your destiny

TAURUS Apr 20May 20

Relationships become the mirror this quarter, Taurus. October and early November may bring old conversations, unresolved feelings or familiar dynamics back into focus, asking you to notice what has changed and what has not. At the same time, work habits and daily responsibilities need rebalancing. Jupiter continues expanding matters around home, family and emotional security, while Pluto moving forward in your career sector strengthens your determination to create something meaningful publicly. By December, clarity grows. The deeper lesson is alignment: your relationships, work, home and ambitions need to reflect what you genuinely value most deeply, not who you once were.

LEO

Jul 23Aug 22 You are growing, Leo, but growth does not mean carrying every version of yourself into the future. Jupiter in your sign increases confidence, visibility and opportunity, yet October and early November pull your attention toward home, family, emotional security and conversations carrying unfinished business. Pluto moving forward in your relationship sector continues transforming how you experience commitment, equality and power with others. By December, Jupiter slows, asking you to integrate rather than expand. This quarter is about becoming bigger without disconnecting from your foundations. The stronger your security becomes, the less you need the outside world to prove your value.

www.oraclequeenpublishing.com

GEMINI May 21Jun 21

Your nervous system, routines and daily life become the focus this quarter. October and early November can reveal where you have been overcommitting, overthinking or trying to manage everything at once. Work, health routines and habits may require revision before progress feels clean though Gemini continues an identity awakening, so changing your mind may be evidence of growth. Jupiter supports writing, learning, conversations and sharing your ideas, giving your voice reach. By December, adjustments begin to settle. Your task is not to become busier; it is to create a life that your mind and body can sustain.

VIRGO Aug 23Sep 22

Your mind has to process this quarter, but not every thought requires immediate action. October and early November highlight communication, agreements, money and self-worth, bringing opportunities to rethink what you say yes to and what your time is worth. Jupiter continues through your twelfth house, making rest, reflection and processing more productive than forcing progress. Uranus keeps stirring change around career direction, while Pluto transforms your relationship with work and wellbeing. By December, financial or emotional responsibilities become clearer. Your lesson is discernment: simplify the noise, honour your energy, and make choices that support the life you are becoming.

LIBRA

SCORPIO

Sep 23Oct 23

This is a personal quarter, Libra, because Venus, your ruling planet, turns retrograde and asks you to reconsider identity, value, relationships and money. October and early November may feel reflective rather than decisive. Old preferences, people or insecurities can resurface so you can see whether they belong in your life. Saturn and Neptune continue testing partnership, asking for clearer boundaries and mature commitment rather than wishful thinking. Jupiter keeps friendships, networks and possibilities growing. By December, confidence returns and choices become easier. The central question is simple: are your relationships reflecting your value, or are you still negotiating it away?

CAPRICORN Dec 22Jan 19

Your future direction comes under review this quarter, Capricorn. October and early November may reshape friendships, networks, long term goals and your sense of where you belong. Some connections may strengthen while others reveal they were built for an earlier version of you. Jupiter highlights shared resources, intimacy and support, encouraging trust while asking for financial awareness. Saturn, your ruler, continues rebuilding the foundations of home, family and security, turning direct in December and bringing clarity. Pluto moving forward in your money sector intensifies questions of value. Build the future around what matters now, not obligations inherited from the past.

SAGITTARIUS

Oct 24Nov 21

Nov 22Dec 21

You may feel as though the universe has handed you a mirror this quarter, Scorpio. Venus retrogrades through your sign while Mercury also reverses through Scorpio, making October and early November reflective. Identity, appearance, relationships, desires and the way you communicate may need reconsideration. Jupiter remains high in your chart, bringing career visibility and opportunities, but rushing ahead while you are recalibrating could create pressure. Pluto moving direct strengthens changes around home and family foundations. By December, momentum returns. This quarter is less about reinventing yourself and more about recognising which version of you is authentic enough to move forward.

AQUARIUS

Much of the work this quarter happens behind the scenes, Sagittarius. October and early November favour reflection, closure and noticing the emotional material you outrun with movement, optimism or a new plan. Old friendships, private feelings or chapters may return for review. Jupiter, your ruler, continues expanding travel, learning, teaching, publishing and your desire to understand the picture, although it slows in December and asks you to integrate what you have learned. Uranus continues changing relationship dynamics, while Pluto transforms your thinking. The breakthrough comes when you stop needing an ending to make sense before allowing yourself to begin again.

PISCES

Jan 20Feb 18

Feb 19Mar 20

This quarter asks you to become visible without abandoning your authenticity. October and early November can bring career plans, professional relationships, study, travel or direction back to the drawing board. A delay may give you time to make a better decision. Pluto turns direct in Aquarius, continuing the transformation of identity, personal power and how you want to live. Jupiter expands partnership opportunities, but December asks you to consider which relationships genuinely support your growth. Uranus keeps awakening creativity and selfexpression. You do not need to fit the old role anymore. Build a future that fits the person emerging.

Your beliefs, values and sense of possibility are changing this quarter, Pisces. October and early November may ask you to reconsider plans involving travel, study, teaching, publishing, shared finances or meaning you attached to experiences. Jupiter supports improvements in work, routines and wellbeing, although December encourages growth rather than doing everything at once. Saturn and Neptune continue reshaping your relationship with money, self worth and responsibility, and begin moving forward in December. Uranus keeps home and family life evolving. The invitation is to ground spiritual understanding in practical choices. What you believe about yourself must support the life you want.

The deck that

speaks to you How to Really Connect with Oracle Cards.

STORY KATY-K The Modern Oracle

H

ave you ever picked up an oracle deck that everyone seems to rave about, shuffled the cards, pulled one… and felt absolutely nothing? Then another deck catches your eye and, before you’ve even read the guidebook, something about it just speaks to you. That, to me, is where the magic begins. I’m Katy-K, The Modern Oracle, and after a lifetime of working with intuition, one thing I know is that oracle cards are far more powerful when you stop trying to use them ‘correctly’ and start allowing yourself to connect with them intuitively. Choosing a deck is a little like choosing a friend. You can appreciate many, but you won’t have a deep connection with all of them. So don’t choose a deck simply because it’s popular, beautiful, or someone told you it’s the best one. Look

The Modern Oracle is an easy to use deck that is appropriate for all levels of experience. These cards are a great tool for developing your intuition as they feature clear textual cues as well as beautiful imagery.

In this must-read book you will discover the steps to further develop your own psychic powers, how to learn to trust in your gifts, and build stronger spiritual connections.

through the cards if you can. Notice your immediate reaction. Do the images stir something in you? Do the words make sense to you? Are you curious to see the next card? Most importantly, do you want to pick it up? That pull matters. Once you’ve found your deck, get to know it before worrying about spreads, rules or elaborate rituals. Shuffle the cards. Look through them one by one. Notice which cards you love, and which ones you don’t. Interestingly, the cards that make you uncomfortable can sometimes become the ones that speak the loudest. Then start asking simple questions, “What do I need to know today?” is one of my favourites. Pull a card, but before reaching for the guidebook, pause. What did you notice first? Perhaps it was an animal, a colour, a facial expression, a doorway, a stormy sky, or one particular word. Pay attention to that first impression, because intuition often arrives before our logical mind has time to interfere. Ask yourself, “What does this mean to me?” A butterfly might represent transformation to one person, their grandmother to another, and freedom to someone else. Your personal symbolism matters. Oracle cards provide the doorway; your intuition walks through it. The guidebook can absolutely add another layer of meaning, but I believe it should support your intuition rather than replace it. One of the best ways to strengthen your connection is to keep a simple oracle journal. Write down the card you pulled, what you initially thought it meant, and what happened afterwards. Over time, you’ll begin recognising your own intuitive language and discovering how particular cards communicate with you. And don’t keep pulling cards because you didn’t like the first answer! We’ve all been tempted. But if you keep asking the same question, you eventually stop seeking guidance… you start negotiating. Above all, enjoy your cards. Oracle cards aren’t an exam you can fail. You don’t need to be psychic enough, spiritual enough, or know every traditional meaning. The real connection happens when you stop asking, “What is this card supposed to mean?” and start asking, “What is this card saying to me?” That is when a deck stops being a collection of beautiful cards and becomes your oracle. Psychometry:

a divinitive connection

ave you ever gotten a feeling from something that belonged to someone else when you have picked it up and held it? Especially an item that belonged to someone that has died? Maybe it was a photo of them, or something they wore, or maybe something they used.

performance of the practice was in the 1800s. The term was coined in 1842 by an American physiologist, Joseph Rodes Buchanan. Many cultures throughout history believed that objects held the energy of a person. Today, Psychometry is considered a Divinitive Connection and is widely practised by psychics, mediums, healers, or intuitive practitioners as a tool for spiritual development or personal insight.

In My Experience

In Summary

I believe that our own personal energy infuses with everything we own during our life. We leave energetic impressions with the things we own/use/wear/touch. I believe that even long after we have either sold an item, or given it away, or left it behind after we’ve died, it still holds some of our energy, some trace of our very being. Clothes and other physical items can be cleansed or cleared of almost, if not all, of the energy attached. Often, we keep things that remind us of someone and with it comes a little of their essence, a trace of their energy. That is why we feel like there’s still a connection to a person when we hold an item they owned. Psychometry is described as the intuitive art of receiving impressions, feelings, images, words, and memories by holding or connecting with a personal object. Every item we own carries an energetic imprint created through our thoughts, emotions, and life experiences. During a psychometry reading, we learn to quieten the mind, trust in our intuition, and interpret the subtle information that may come through from the item. I believe it’s possible to tap into that energetic impression to gain insight, information or even messages from the other side, from the Spirit of the person who belonged to an item. I do Psychometry readings in my mediumship sessions. Sometimes visions/messages come through easy and other times not-so, which can be a common experience for mediums. That’s because connecting to the Spirit Realm is all dependant on a couple of different factors. Firstly, only if they are ready to communicate with you; and secondly, only if Spirit feels that you are ready to hear from them, so that you can receive the messages/visions. You cannot force the connection; it is either there waiting or it is not yet ready. Patience and gratitude are essential.

Scientists and many others have a very different opinion, as they do when it comes to the unseen/unexplainable. Whatever you believe, it is an exceptional experience when you have this Divine Connection by using Psychometry.

The Baker Who Reminded Me What

creativity really is

STORY KYLIE KING

G

enerally, when we think or talk about creativity, artists come to mind. Painters. Writers. Musicians. People who can draw something more impressive than the stick figures I’m capable of creating. However, one of my past life regression sessions reminded me that creativity can show up in other places as well. Like a bakery. During this session, my client found herself experiencing the life of a man named Ralph. Ralph was a baker and very proud of his craft. He had his own shop, he entered cake competitions and, apparently, he made ‘the best brandy-layered cake’. I loved meeting Ralph and hearing the absolute pride and dedication he had for his craft because out of everything that could have appeared in a past life regression — great historical events, dramatic relationships, wars, royalty — here we were talking about cake. But the more the session unfolded, the more I realised that the baking wasn’t an insignificant detail.

It was part of who Ralph was. He created. He experimented. He took pride in what he made. And he entered competitions because he wanted to see how good he could make it. There was something beautifully human about it. Ralph’s life wasn’t without hardship. The session eventually moved to the end of his life, which came suddenly following an accident. There was grief and suffering around his death and the family he left behind. Yet when he looked back and reflected upon his life. His focus was on creativity. Not fame. Not money. Not whether anybody still remembered Ralph’s bakery generations later. But the power of creating and that stayed with me. Because I think as adults, we have made creativity far more complicated than it needs to be. We decide we’re ‘not creative’ because we can’t paint. We stop making things because we’re not going to make money from them. We turn hobbies into businesses, measure everything by productivity and sometimes forget that humans have always created simply because creating feels good. Maybe creativity is decorating a cake. Maybe it’s gardening. Maybe it’s rearranging a room, making something with your hands, dancing badly in your kitchen, writing something nobody else will ever read or trying a recipe until you finally get it exactly right. I think we need to change the focus. The value isn’t always in what the thing becomes. The value is simply in the experience of making it. After facilitating hundreds of regression sessions, I continue to be fascinated by what seems to matter when people look back over another lifetime. It isn’t always the monumental moments. Sometimes it’s incredibly ordinary. A family. A craft. A song. A garden. Or, in Ralph’s case, a really good brandy cake. And maybe that’s the reminder. You don’t have to create something that changes the world. Sometimes you can create something simply because it brings a little more joy into yours. www.kylieking.com.au

Tao Calligraphy

STORY CENLY WONG

T

ao Calligraphy is transformative art. Before I go into it, let me first define what is Tao. It is not Taoism, which is a religion. According to Lao Zi, the ancient Chinese philosopher, author of Dao De Jing, he used the word ‘Tao’ when referring to the Source or Ultimate Creator. Created by Dr and Master Zhi Gang Sha, Tao Calligraphy is a unique healing art form that is based on an ancient onestroke calligraphy style called, Yi Bi Zi — ‘oneness writing’ in which the brush never leaves the parchment — beautiful calligraphy that embodies oneness (unity, harmony, balance). This technique was passed down to Master Sha from Professor Li Qiuyun, who was nearly 100 years old when she chose Master Sha as her sole disciple to share this unique style of Chinese calligraphy. Professor Li herself had learned the Yi Bi Zi from her teacher, Tai Shi who was the Supreme Calligraphy Master and teacher of the imperial court of the last emperor of China and direct lineage holder of Kong Zi (Confucius).

Using his life-long training and mastery of ancient philosophies, eastern arts, and healing disciplines, Dr and Master Sha further developed this sacred oneness writing into Tao Calligraphy — a revolutionary healing art. Born in China and educated at one of China’s foremost medical universities, Dr and Master Sha is a world-renowned healer, a Tao Grandmaster, creator of Tao Calligraphy, 11-time New York Times best-selling author, and an award-winning spiritual innovator. Tao Calligraphy is a unique combination of the ancient practice of one-stroke Chinese calligraphy and the spiritual essence, frequency, and vibration of the Tao which Master Sha is able to connect and infused when he writes. Hence, how Tao Calligraphy can be used as a cutting-edge healing tool. You can connect and interact with every Tao Calligraphy by tracing, following the brushstroke pathways of a Tao Calligraphy with your five fingers or meditating with it, placing onto a body part which needs healing or rejuvenating. As a Qigong Master, Dr and Master Sha has also created an interactive practice combining doing Qigong movements with your body while tracing the one-stroke pathway of the Tao Calligraphies called ‘body tracing’. By connecting with the Tao Calligraphy with these few ways, it enables you to access the healing spiritual frequency of that piece. This deep connection with the Tao Calligraphy, could transform the energy, frequency, and vibration of the request of the person. Whether it is for health, relationships, finances or any other aspects of life. So far, 19 clinical studies have shown incredibly positive results for individuals who have consistently traced Tao Calligraphy to transform their well-being and life-challenges. One of the studies was published last year in 2025 in the Frontiers, 3rd World Congress on Traditional, Complementary, and Integrative Medicine — 3rd WCTCIM, Rio de Janeiro, Bazi. Results indicate that mindfulness practices using Tao Calligraphy tracing have significantly increased Telomeres length (TL) in Granulocytes in 3 months and they significantly improved the quality of life for participants on the SF-36 scale in 5 categories in 9 months. TL has been emerging as a potential biomarker of ageing.
