SureCam, the video telematics and fleet safety technology specialist, has launched its next-generation Vantage Camera, a multi-view dashcam solution designed to improve onroad safety and help fleets meet increasingly stringent urban regulations.
The new system delivers up to six synchronised camera views around a vehicle, providing 360° visibility supported by AI-powered insights. Unlike traditional multi-camera setups, the Vantage system supports multiple cameras through a single dashcam device, eliminating the need for a separate mobile digital video recorder Fleets can capture footage from the road, driver, side, rear, and cargo areas, while an optional in-cab monitor gives drivers real-time visibility to support safer manoeuvring and compliance with citylevel requirements.
The Vantage Camera is designed for commercial fleets operating in complex environments, particularly vans, HGVs, and specialist vehicles in dense urban areas. It also integrates driver monitoring and advanced driver assistance systems, detecting distraction, fatigue, mobile phone use, tailgating, and other collision risks Automated in-cab alerts allow drivers to correct behaviour before incidents occur, while footage is uploaded to SureCam’s cloud platform for rapid event review, coaching, and analytics. The solution also integrates with Geotab, enhancing safety scoring and operational insights.
