IMPORTANT HEALTH AND SAFETY Q&A’S With CPHI being one of Informa Markets biggest events, we are expecting many colleagues from other Portfolios, as well as Senior Executives and Board Members to be visiting the show. Below you will find a list of questions that have been provided to Senior Executives and Board Members to ask key event leaders, ops managers and anyone on the show team on-site – please ensure you have read and understood each point. It is important that every member of the show team can answer these questions. Have there been any Health and Safety incidents so far? If so, have they been reported? Please direct this question to the Ops Team who will be able to answer. What is the maximum stand height at this show (ideally 4m max)? The maximum stand height allowed at CPHI Milan 2026 is 4m. The maximum height for rigging is 6m (measured from the floor to the top of the truss), and there must be a clear gap between the stand walling and the rigging. Are there any complex builds? e.g. double-decker stands? Double decker or two-storey stands are NOT permitted. To note that complex builds are defined as having one of more of the following items: Platforms & Stages over 500mm; Suspended structures (e.g. lighting rigs); Ramps; Glass constructions so there will be a number of complex builds at the show. Who is responsible for floor safety at the show? (Informa or third-party) Abraxys are our appointed Floor Safety Management company for the show. There will be at least 1 Floor Safety Manager assigned to each hall. Did you book your travel to the show using the Informa Travel Management system (NAVAN)? Everyone should have booked their flights via NAVAN (or equivalent local travel partner). Are Informa or the venue responsible for event security? Event Security is provided by the venue. Was there a pre-build up health and safety briefing? Yes, in pre-show meeting and an online form Have you had the Safety Operating Model (SOM) training by Health, Safety and Security (HSS)? This is predominantly delivered to Operations colleagues Is wearing a helmet inside the halls during the build-up and breakdown mandatory in Italy? Yes. According to the Italian law, wearing a helmet is mandatory during the build-up and breakdown of the show. If you want to enter the halls during build-up or breakdown, you can collect the helmet in the teams area at the South Entrance 1st floor. After wearing the helmet, please return the helmet back to temp staff in the teams area. On Monday 5th Ocotber, wearing a helmet is not mandatory because this is a clean work day.

ONSITE QUERIES & ESCALATIONS LOG The Customer Service team based in the Support Centres are well equipped to answer and help you and the exhibitor/client. This staff handbook should also answer some of your questions onsite. If an exhibitor has brought a query to your attention, where possible, please direct them or show them to the Support Centres in the first instance. Not all issues can be solved immediately. Please don’t promise exhibitors/clients that something can be done before checking with the Operations team. All logged issues will follow a triage process and prioritised accordingly with the relevant suppliers. Contractors and suppliers have been briefed not to accept orders or instructions from anyone other than the Operations team. Therefore, please do not directly speak to any of the suppliers. This is so we can ensure issues are being dealt with following the correct process. Please only use this form for escalations or urgent issues. For internal issues with activations/features, please use this Smartsheet form.

For attendees and exhibitors with a formal complaint, they can use this Smartsheet form.

SPONSORS / ONSITE PROMOTIONS If an exhibitor is doing something they shouldn’t be or haven’t paid for – i.e. handing out flyers outside of their stand, allowing promotional people near the entrance, handing out promotional items when they are not an official sponsor – always contact Operations team first. No exhibitor has permission to walk the aisles giving out flyers or scanning visitors. See the flow diagram below the process how proceed with unauthorized giveaway and sponsorship:

SUSTAINABILITY When onsite, please respect the environment, people and the Planet. Here are some of the ways you can help: 1. Be waste-conscious and segregate your waste according to available bins. If you see waste lying around, please remove it yourself or approach cleaning staff; 2. Keep Sustainability and Better Stands in mind when observing exhibitor stands. If you notice good examples, please take pictures and share with Sustainability team; 3. Do have conversations with your clients about sustainability, anything you observe about their stand and ask for their feedback; 4. Please reach out to the Sustainability team for any sustainability-related feedback or questions onsite, preshow and/or post-show; 5. Stay curious and highlight things to us so we can do better for our next editions!

Informa Markets Better Stands 10-point checklist:

Waste initiatives during CPHI Milan 2026 During CPHI Milan 2026, 3 different colours codes will be used for waste separation: Green is for paper waste. Grey for mixed waste. Yellow is for plastic waste.

Additionally, there are several other sustainability initiatives taking place:

HEALTH AND SAFETY SIGN IN AND OUT It is compulsory for ALL employees onsite to sign in and sign out every day. There will be an QR code present at the Team Room. When you scan the QR code, you’ll be redirected to the check-in and check-out Smartsheet form. Please ensure you do this and encourage your colleagues to do the same,

H&S BRIEFING Instead of the onsite H&S training, we have created an online form where colleagues can read and sign your acknowledgement of the H&S process before coming onsite. Please make sure this form is fully completed. We will be checking the forms and if you have not completed and signed the form then you will not be allowed to enter the halls during the build-up days. Please scan the QR code now and save the link so you can complete the form.

HEALTH AND SAFETY (H&S) RESPONSIBILITIES As part of H&S regulations is it compulsory for everyone, ALL contractors, and exhibitors, onsite to wear the following items during build-up and breakdown in the halls and in the unloading areas. • Hi-Vis Jacket – We encourage everyone to bring their own High-Vis jackets. • Safety Footwear – All staff must comply with the EN ISO 20345 safety shoes protocol. Safety shoes are mandatory for all staff during the build-up and breakdown days. • Helmets – Helmets will only be required if your task specifies this. • Informa Markets Name Badge – please make sure you wear this at all times while onsite and make sure you remove your badge when leaving site and keep it in a safe location for safety. As Organisers, it is Informa Markets’s policy to manage the show in accordance with best industry practices, our own health and safety standards alongside current local legislation. Informa Markets has a minimum PPE requirement for onsite at ALL our events - this requires all personnel to wear suitable, sufficient safe footwear and a high vis jacket. Due to health and safety rules in Italy, it is mandatory to wear a helmet inside the halls during build-up and breakdown.

43

Safe footwear should prevent slipping, nails or sharp objects penetrating the sole or heavy items injuring the foot if dropped during movement or fitting. The recommendation is EU approved to class EN345 (safety footwear). These shoes are readily available to purchase online from websites like Amazon or Bol for a pair however most people have shoes already in their possession such as the ones shown below which negates the need to buy anything new.

Examples such as those shown below are acceptable at ALL times during build up and breakdown.

Examples shown below are STRICTLY NOT Acceptable Footwear at ANY TIME - Will not accept footwear that is soft such

Shoes such as a tennis shoe, high heels or open toed sandals that will offer no protection are prohibited at ANY time during build up and breakdown.

FIRST AID First Aid facilities will be available at all times during the show including during the stand build-up and breakdown periods. • Stella Polare • Porta Sud • Emergency Operations Centre In the event of a medical emergency, phone: +39 02 4997 7210 The venue Emergency centre will take it over from there and co-ordinate further including calling 112. 9 02 4997 7210.
