Welcome to the inaugural St. Mary’s College of Maryland Choral Festival.
What began as an idea a hope to bring together young singers from across our region has grown into a day centered on collaboration, artistry, and shared joy. This festival was envisioned as a space where students could not only refine their musical skills, but also experience the power of collective voice: many individuals coming together to create something meaningful, vibrant, and alive.
At its core, this festival is about connection. Connection to one another, to the music, and to the broader tradition of choral singing that continues to shape and reflect our communities.
We are deeply grateful to the directors who have prepared their students with care and intention, and to the students themselves for showing up with openness, curiosity, and commitment. Your presence is what makes this day possible.
This event would not exist without the generous support of our sponsors, the dedication of the faculty and staff at St. Mary’s College of Maryland, and the incredible work of our student volunteers, who have given their time and energy to ensure that every detail is thoughtfully executed. We also extend sincere thanks to our accompanists and clinicians, whose artistry and expertise help bring this music to life
It is our hope that today affirms each singer’s place in this art form that every voice here matters, and that the act of singing together can be both excellent and joyful
