To make our campground a fun place to be for you and fellow campers, there are a few rules for courteous camping which are summarized below. Thank you for helping to make Tuxbury Pond Campground a fun and safe place.
• CHECK IN TIME: Campsites/RV 1PM, Rentals 3PM
• CHECK OUT TIME: 11AM for all
A two-hour early check-in and/or two-hour late check-out for your reservation may be available, each for an additional fee. If interested in either option, contact the management office in advance of your arrival to inquire about availability. Early check-in/late check-out not available at all locations.
• VISITORS: All visitors must be registered at the office and pay a fee of $10.00 for a day visit, $15.00 for an overnight stay.
• OFFICE HOURS: Mon – Sat 10AM to 5PM, Sunday 10AM to 2PM

• QUIET HOURS: 11PM to 8AM Please be respectful of others in the campground and lower conversations to a whisper during the quiet hours.
• VEHICLES: You are allowed 2 cars per site. They must be parked at the designated site or other designated parking areas. Parking in unoccupied sites or on roadways is not permitted.
• SPEED LIMIT IS 5 MILES PER HOUR PARK WIDE. One violation will result in a warning. The second will require you to park your vehicle at the main building and walk throughout the park for the remainder of your stay.
• SAFETY: Children under the age of 16 MUST wear a helmet when riding a bicycle or scooter. Bikes and scooters should be home by dark. Anyone under 18 should not be left at the campground without adult supervision. Anyone under 18 must be at their site by quiet hour at 11PM
• PROHIBITED VEHICLES: Dirt bikes, electric scooters and bikes, minibikes, any ATV, battery operated children’s “cars”, skateboards etc. are not allowed and cannot be used at any time.
• GOLF CARTS: Gas powered golf carts are prohibited; only electric golf carts are allowed. Please watch your speed; the 5 MPH speed limit applies to golf carts as well. The driver must be over 16 with a VALID driver’s license.
• CAMPFIRES: Campfires must be in designated fire ring, no open fires are allowed. Campfires can be no higher than 3 feet and must be attended.
• TRASH: Dumpsters are located near the rear of the property (see map). Only normal household trash is permitted in the dumpsters.
• SWIMMING: There are no lifeguards on duty at the campground. Children under the age of 12 MUST be accompanied by an adult in the pool area. No food or glass containers are allowed in the pool area. Swim at your own risk.
• PICNIC TABLES: Do not move from one site to another
• GENERAL: All buildings are non-smoking areas. Please do not throw cigarette butts on the ground.
• Underage drinking or smoking will not be tolerated.
• Excessive use of alcohol, the use of illegal drugs, including marijuana, is prohibited.
• Fireworks, including sparklers, guns, BB guns, bow and arrows, sling shots etc. are not allowed.
• Failure to follow the rules may result in your being asked to leave.
