Guidelines for an Enjoyable Stay

Dear Valued Guest,

Welcome to Thousand Trails South Jetty! Your satisfaction with your stay in very important to us. We’re proud of the community of campers that enjoy visiting with us at Thousand Trails South Jetty, whether you choose to stay for a weekend or for a season.

We pride ourselves on providing a comfortable environment for members and guests alike. Our goal is to ensure you have an enjoyable stay, and we ask that you please be sure to take common sense precautions to keep your belongings secure during your visit with us. We recommend storing your items inside your RV when unattended, including bicycles. If you must store your bicycles outside, please utilize theft-proof bike locks.

It is very important to us that you enjoy your time with us at Thousand Trails South Jetty. Please secure your belongings appropriately so you can focus on relaxing and enjoying your time at our campground and in the Florence area. Thank you for visiting!

RULES & INFORMATION

PARK SPEED LIMIT IS 5 MPH for your safety and that of other campers, pets and wildlife. This includes bicycles and scooters. Non-street legal vehicles are not allowed to be driven on property (ATVs, etc). If you are caught speeding, the first offense will result in a warning. The second offense will require you to park at the entrance lot, leave your vehicle there, and walk into the park. A third offense will result in suspension.

SAFETY: DO NOT give out the gate code to anyone. Vendors and guests are given the code upon registration. DO NOT drive the wrong way on a one way road. DO NOT drive IN or OUT of the Dump Station (only for dumping RVs — NOT an exit). STOP at the stop sign at the front by the laundry room.

CHECK IN: Rental Units 4 pm; Campsites 12 pm

CHECK OUT: Rental Units 11 am; Campsites 11 am

QUIET HOURS: 10 pm to 8 am. No power tools or loud items. Please be respectful of your neighbors.

GUESTS: Guests of our customers must be preregistered on the customers’ accounts at the Ranger Station. Guest day pass is $10 per vehicle.

Disorderly, abusive, or belligerent conduct is prohibited.

VEHICLES: Driving unregistered vehicles inside the park is not allowed. The registered camper is responsible for their guests. Camping vehicles and RVs that don’t meet ELS standards are unacceptable for admittance to the campground. ALL RVs AND OTHER VEHICLES MUST BE REGISTERED AND HAVE INSURANCE.

ATVs can’t be ridden in the park or on South Jetty Rd. You MUST haul all ATVs out of the park.

CAMPSITES: We are assigning sites to everyone, and we ask that you not move sites. If the site you have been assigned does not meet your needs, please speak with us regarding your concerns.

1 RV and 2 tents OR 3 tents only per site. Maximum of 2 non-camping vehicles per site including utility trailers, motorcycles, golf carts, boats, etc. Campsites unattended overnight are subject to a nightly fee. All personal items and vehicles MUST fit within campsite area. Registration cards must be posted in your RV, on the electrical pedestal campsite post or in tent window. Mirror hanger must be displayed at all times in cars/trucks. Please keep your campsite clean and litter-free as possible during your stay.

There is NO Dune Access at our campground.

WASHING OR WORKING ON VEHICLES: NO washing or working on vehicles or RVs permitted.

CAMPFIRES: Campfires are permitted in fire rings. Moving fire rings to common area fields is not allowed. Cutting or gathering of any tree, standing or laying, is STRICTLY prohibited. Keep your campfire from becoming a wildfire! Use the Drown-Stir-Drown-Feel method to put out your campfire safely.

PETS

Tarps are not permitted at anytime. NO items are to be hung from trees, such as hammocks, clotheslines, lights, etc.

PERSONAL MAIL IS NOT ACCEPTED. Please use “General Delivery” at the Florence Post Office. Zip code: 97439. We will ONLY accept packages containing medicine or RV parts ($10 per package).

Laundry and Showers: 3 washers per household. Washing of pet bedding is prohibited in park laundry machines.

COMMON BUILDING HOURS

• Please pick up after your animals. Dog waste stations are available throughout the park and at the fenced dog park.

• Noisy or vicious animals are prohibited.

• No Loose Animals. Pets must be kept on a maximum 10-foot leash at all times and under the control of their owner. Alternatively, they may be left inside the member’s camping vehicle. Pets may not be left outside on a campsite unattended.

• Pets are not allowed in common buildings or on the pool deck. Service animals are permitted.

• No pets are allowed inside the pool fence.

Ranger Station:

10 am - 10 pm (summer)

10 am - 6 pm (winter)

Swimming Pool & Spas:

10 am - 9 pm (summer)

10 am - 5 pm (winter)

Activity Center and East Guest Laundry:

9 am - 9 pm (summer)

9 am - 5 pm (winter)
