Welcome, Members and Guests! Bordered by the Los Padres National Forest and the Santa Ynez River, Rancho Oso offers acres of scenic beauty and endless opportunities for recreation, including hiking, photography, and more. Explore our 310 acres filled with history dating back to 1845. Put on your boots and hats (spurs optional) and experience our Western atmosphere. Visit the adobe, stables, Conestoga wagons, cabins, stone lodge, and unique amenities we have to offer. Participate in recreational events, or simply sit back, relax, and enjoy the scenery and wildlife native to our area. Thousand Trails Information and Reminders
• Activity Schedule: At Welcome Center / Ranger Station and Country Store.
• Bicycles: Permitted on roadways only. Please stay off of sidewalks and patios. Safety helmets should be worn at all times.
• Campfires: CHARCOAL ONLY IN BBQ GRILLS. See Ranger for designated wood fire sites, permits and seasonal campfire restrictions.
• Monthly Extended Stay / RV Storage: See Operations Office.
• Group Camping Requests: See Operations Office.
• Ice: Available at Country Store.
• Mail: No mail service available.
• Medical: Santa Barbara and Goleta Hospitals. Maps at Office, Store and Welcome Center / Ranger Station.
• Messages: Only Emergency messages will be delivered.
• Public Phone: This is no longer available.
• Playground / Facilities / Amenities: Use at your own risk.
• Privacy: Please respect the rights and privacy of other campers. Please don’t walk or cut through other sites. Use roadways.
• Propane: Hours posted at store.
• QUIET HOURS: 11:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. Please turn off outside patio and decorative lights.
• Welcome Center / Ranger Station: Staffed 9:00 a.m.-9:00 p.m. After 9:00 p.m., park in the Barn Parking lot.
• Sewer: 90° sewer adapter, threaded coupler or donut is required to connect your hose to our sewer connection.
• Skateboards, Skates & Scooters: Not permitted.
• Swimming Pool / Spa: Follow all posted rules.
• TV: Direct TV available in both lodges.
• Washing Vehicles: Not permitted.
• Wi-Fi: Limited internet at Jamison Lodge
• SPEED LIMIT 5 MPH: in campground. 10 MPH on all other roads. For safety, drive with your headlights ON at all times on the entry road.
• PETS: Keep on a leash no longer than 10 feet at all times. No pets in pool area or buildings. Please clean up after your pet immediately. Bags are available at the Ranger Station. Please do not leave your pet tied up, or in a carate outside your RV if you are not at home.
• AMPLIFIED MUSIC: Keep Volume setting at a moderate level.
• NO CHARGING OF ELECTRIC VEHICLES
